671: Chapter 669 Wang Qingyue Injured 671: Chapter 669 Wang Qingyue Injured Looking at the liquid on the ground, Chen Yang naturally associated it with that mysterious creature.

It had only recently been active in the vicinity, and the liquid was still very fresh, without a hint of dryness.

“What kind of liquid is this?”

Chen Yang bent down to observe it and, after a careful analysis, he concluded that it was saliva.

But as to why the mysterious creature would leave saliva here, he had no idea.

He stood up again, glanced in the direction where the creature had fled, and then strode back to the campsite.

Approaching the campsite, in order not to raise any concern in Wang Qingyue, Chen Yang didn’t go right in; instead, he stood outside for a while, enjoying the tranquil moonlight.

When he felt enough ti had passed and Wang Qingyue was likely sound asleep, he returned to his own place inside the cabin.

The next morning, Wang Hong and the others were relieved to see Chen Yang safe and sound inside the cabin.

“Boss Chen, when did you co back?” Wang Hong asked with a smile.

Chen Yang opened his eyes and glanced at Wang Hong, “Around eleven sothing.”

“Oh, did you get the herbs you wanted?”

Upon hearing this, Chen Yang couldn’t help but glance at Wang Qingyue.

If it weren’t for this girl liking to bathe in the dead of night, he definitely could have caught that mysterious creature yesterday.

Rembering this, Chen Yang felt it was a great pity.

Of course, he couldn’t say this aloud.

If he did, Wang Qingyue and Wang Hong, the siblings, would surely turn against him on the spot.

So he simply nodded, “Got them.”

“Hehe, as long as you found them, that’s good.

But in the future, try not to go out at night; it’s too dangerous,” Wang Hong chuckled, then without saying much more, quickly packed up and led his people out to cook breakfast.

Chen Yang did the sa, briefly tidying up before going out to help.

After making breakfast and eating, Wang Hong and the others didn’t delay a mont longer and set off once again in search of what they needed.

Chen Yang was once again left alone at the campsite.

However, today Chen Yang had no intention of wandering about.

He simply gathered so herbs nearby and refined so simple dicinal pills to pass the ti.

Although he was still very curious about the mysterious creature, he had figured out that it would surely appear near the pond at night.

So he could conveniently plan another visit tonight; there was no need for him to roam around during the day.

“I will stake out in the grass early tonight.

I want to see exactly what kind of creature it is, being so mysterious.”

Chen Yang didn’t know whether Wang Qingyue would bathe today, so hiding anywhere else would be pointless.

He planned to directly stake out in the grass where the mysterious creature often appeared, to lie in wait!

Having made up his mind, Chen Yang naturally hoped ti would pass quickly.

But what he hadn’t expected at all was that in the afternoon, just as he was preparing to cook, Wang Hong suddenly rushed out of the jungle.

“Good you’re here, Boss Chen.

Pack up and let’s get out of here!

We’re leaving this place,” Wang Hong ca out and said to Chen Yang like this.

Chen Yang was startled for a mont.

He had thought Wang Hong ca back to make lunch, not to leave.

“Did you find what you needed?” Chen Yang asked, looking at Wang Hong.

Wang Hong’s expression was sowhat grave as he shook his head, “We didn’t find it, Qingyue got injured, we must leave right now!”

Having said that, Wang Hong imdiately dived into the cabin, hurriedly packing up.

Hearing his words, and seeing Wang Hong’s expression, Chen Yang imdiately sensed the seriousness of the situation.

The injury Wang Qingyue sustained must be severe, otherwise Wang Hong wouldn’t be in such a hurry.

With that in mind, Chen Yang didn’t ask any more questions and quickly packed up his things and followed Wang Hong as they left.

On their way out, Chen Yang finally asked Wang Hong about the specifics of the situation.

As they hurried along, Wang Hong briefly described how Wang Qingyue got injured.

“Today we encountered a tiger in the forest.

That thing launched a sudden attack and clawed Qingyue.

In the end, we scared it away with gunfire,” said Wang Hong, with a troubled look on his face.

After understanding the situation, Chen Yang didn’t ask any further and silently followed Wang Hong through the jungle.

About an hour or so later, the two entered a wooded area.

In the woods, Chen Yang saw Wang Qingyue, who had been injured by the tiger.

Seeing Wang Qingyue lying on a hastily made stretcher, Chen Yang imdiately went over to examine her wounds.

Wang Qingyue’s right arm shoulder was scratched by the tiger, leaving five deep, bone-visible wounds that kept oozing blood.

Her entire upper body was practically drenched in blood; the stretcher and even the ground were covered in blood.

“Chen, step aside.

I’m going to bandage Qingyue,” said Wang Hong, coming over with a piece of gauze, as Chen Yang was checking.

Chen Yang saw this and stopped him.

“Don’t rush to bandage it.

We need to treat the wound first; the claws from animals in the wild are very dirty.”

Upon hearing Chen Yang’s words, Wang Hong paused for a mont.

Then he rembered that Chen Yang was a doctor!

“Treat the wound?

But we don’t have the supplies to do that,” Wang Hong said worriedly, after thinking it over.

Chen Yang remained calm and not in a hurry.

Even though many dical tools were lacking in the wilderness, such injuries still wouldn’t be too much for him to handle.

“That’s not a problem…”

Just as Chen Yang was about to ntion that there were plenty of herbs in the mountains and they could use local resources,

He Rui suddenly gave Chen Yang a glance and then urgently said to Wang Hong, “Brother Wang Hong, don’t listen to him.

What does a country bumpkin doctor know?

Quickly bandage Qingyue, and then let’s carry her out together.”

He Rui’s words were full of disdain for Chen Yang.

He had already harbored hostility toward Chen Yang, and in such a dangerous situation, he naturally looked at Chen Yang through a prejudiced lens.

A country doctor, how could he handle such a serious injury?

When Wang Hong heard what He Rui said, he also found it sowhat reasonable.

Wang Qingyue had lost so much blood; the most urgent matter was to get out of the mountains and into a major hospital for treatnt.

Not a mont could be wasted.

Rembering this, Wang Hong beca impatient to bandage Wang Qingyue.

“Chen, I think He Rui has a point.

Right now, the most important thing is to get Qingyue out of here first,” said Wang Hong urgently to Chen Yang, and then squatted down to bandage the wound with a bandage.

Seeing Wang Hong’s actions, Chen Yang did not say another word, directly snatched the bandage from Wang Hong’s hand.

“Are you fucking trying to kill her?

What do you think you’re doing?

Give that bandage!” He Rui imdiately lost his temper and started yelling at Chen Yang.

Chen Yang simply ignored him.

Just an idiot, saving Wang Qingyue was more important at this ti.

“Wang Hong, think about it.

It will take at least a day to get out of here.

Do you think we have that much ti?” Chen Yang asked, looking calmly at Wang Hong.

By then, Wang Hong was so anxious that his eyes were red.

Initially, he too had been angry when Chen Yang took the bandage, but after hearing what Chen Yang said, he cald down a bit.

Seeing Wang Hong calm down, Chen Yang continued, “If you want your sister to be all right, you’d better do as I say.

Otherwise, too much blood loss, combined with the worsening of the wound, and not even a god could help.”

Chen Yang’s words were heavy, but they struck right to the core.
