When Yang Ruoxi heard what Chen Yang said, her expression indeed showed a hint of disappointnt.
But she quickly recovered and said casually, “Oh, that’s such a pity. I saw a new water park open up in the north part of town today. There are a lot of fun attractions, and it looked pretty interesting. I was thinking of going there this afternoon with you. But since you’re so busy, I guess it’ll just be , my sister, and Annie.”

A water park?

How could such a great place like a water park miss him?
Yang Ruoxi, Li Han, and Dai Annie all laughed at his words.
“I think you should skip it. Important work cos first, the three of us can manage just fine. You should go and tend to your work!” Yang Ruoxi noticed Chen Yang’s earlier pretense, so she playfully teased him like this.
Chen Yang felt like he had shot himself in the foot.
“No, no, three girls going out alone isn’t safe at all! Let accompany you guys.” Chen Yang continued to chuckle awkwardly.
“Hmph, you never get up early without a reason,” Yang Ruoxi couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him.
Chen Yang just kept smiling awkwardly and said nothing more.
In his mind, he was already imagining the wonderful scenes he would soon see.
All three girls were exceptional beauties, and just thinking about it made Chen Yang feel his blood pressure rise, almost unable to handle it.
The restaurant’s service was pretty fast.
Chen Yang and Yang Ruoxi had just exchanged a few words when the dishes started to be served.

“Co on, everyone dig in. The sooner we finish eating, the sooner we can head out for so fun.” Chen Yang said with a smile, standing up to serve food to the three ladies.
The three won exchanged glances at Chen Yang’s enthusiasm and couldn’t help but roll their eyes at him.
They all knew what Chen Yang was thinking.
But no one said anything, they just rolled their eyes and began to dig in as well.
The al went by quickly, in about half an hour, all the dishes and wine were finished.
The four of them shared a bottle of wine, drinking it was easy-going, and none of them felt flushed.
“Alright, now that we’ve eaten, shall we head out early? By the ti we get to the water park, we’ll probably have digested enough for a swim.” Chen Yang said eagerly.
Yang Ruoxi sat in her chair, laughing at Chen Yang’s impatience.
“What’s the rush? It’s still early, let’s rest a bit.” Yang Ruoxi teased.
Chen Yang was taken aback, narrowing his eyes slightly.
He knew that Yang Ruoxi had figured out his motives and was deliberately toying with him.
He did feel a bit eager to go to the water park to feast his eyes.
But how could he let Yang Ruoxi have the upper hand over him?
He faintly smiled and sat back down calmly.
“Haha, okay, if you want to rest, then let’s rest.” Chen Yang naturally took his seat, showing no sign of anticipation, as if he’d lost all interest.
This ti, it was Yang Ruoxi’s turn to be surprised.
“Hmph, fine, let’s rest then, it’s not like we’re in a hurry.” Yang Ruoxi pursed her lips and leaned back in her chair to relax.
Chen Yang was also indifferent, reclining back in his chair to rest.
Even though they weren’t bickering, Li Han and Dai Annie knew that the two were silently annoyed with each other.
After about four or five minutes of rest, Li Han stood up with a smile to diate the situation.
“Alright, alright, you two stop bickering. It’s about ti, if we’re going to play, we should go early. Otherwise, the temperature will drop, and it won’t be as fun.” Li Han said.
“Yeah, Ruoxi, we should go now, it’ll get too cold later.” Dai Annie agreed.
Yang Ruoxi glanced at Chen Yang and found that he still looked indifferent, as if he didn’t care whether they went or not.
“Hmph, are you secretly happy, you pervert?” Yang Ruoxi suddenly said to Chen Yang.
Chen Yang almost burst out laughing at that.
But he managed to hold it in.
“Of course I’m happy, how could I not be when we’re all going out to have fun?” Chen Yang said with a slight smile.
“Pff.”
Yang Ruoxi snorted disdainfully, but stood up, ready to head out.
Seeing Yang Ruoxi get up, Chen Yang stood up as well, joining the three ladies as they left the private dining room and headed to the front desk to settle the bill.
Chen Yang took the lead, arriving at the front desk and naturally pulling out his phone to pay.
But Li Han stopped him.
“Let take care of it, this one’s my treat.”
Rembering that this gathering was to treat Dai Annie to a al, Chen Yang didn’t insist. He smiled and nodded, stepping aside to let Li Han settle the bill.
Once Li Han was done, the four of them exited the restaurant and returned to the car.
“Ruoxi, send the location of the water park.” Once in the car, Chen Yang asked Yang Ruoxi for the location.
“Sure, I’ll send it to you right now.”
Yang Ruoxi replied, imdiately pulling out her phone to send the location to Chen Yang.
Chen Yang opened it and saw that the water park wasn’t too far from their current location, just ten kiloters away.
The map showed that it was in the suburbs.
After checking the route and noting it down, Chen Yang put away his phone and set off.
On the way, the three won were excitedly chatting in the back seat about the water park’s attractions, fully engaged in their conversation.
Chen Yang listened quietly from the front, not joining in.
After about ten minutes, they arrived at the entrance of the amusent park.
Still in the car, Chen Yang glanced up at the big sign at the gate.
“Bi Ying Water Park.”
Chen Yang turned around and asked, “Ruoxi, check if this is the right water park.”
Yang Ruoxi, Li Han, and Dai Annie were deep in conversation in the back and hadn’t noticed they’d already arrived.
Hearing Chen Yang’s voice, Yang Ruoxi looked out the window.
“That’s right, this is the place.”
“Great, let find a place to park.” Hearing confirmation, Chen Yang found a spot near the entrance and parked the car.
“Alright, let’s get out.”
After shutting off the engine and undoing his seatbelt, Chen Yang got out of the car.
The three won also got out right after.
Their first instinct, like Chen Yang’s, was to take in their surroundings and survey the amusent park.
“It’s newly opened, and it looks pretty nice.” Chen Yang said after scanning the place.
Yang Ruoxi chid in, “Of course, I decided to co here because the pictures looked good.”
Chen Yang smiled slightly, “Well, let’s go get swimwear and stuff first, and then we’ll buy tickets.”
With that, Chen Yang headed toward a store near the water park’s entrance.
Shops around water parks usually have swimming gear for sale.
The three ladies saw this and went after him, entering the store together.
The shop was small from the outside, but inside was quite spacious, a classic tiny-front big-inside store.
Despite its size, the store was packed with people choosing swimwear, to the point of being almost crowded.
