Ye Muyu sat in the carriage.
She did not get out.
She silently watched the customers lining up outside the store, most of whom were poor people dressed in shabby clothes, with many wearing cotton coats that seemed to have been worn for years, even having stiff patches amidst the black fabric.

The motion at the entrance finally brought the shopkeeper of the store out.
The shopkeeper in the store was Zhang Hai.

Zhang Tieniu remained at the pastry store.
While Zhang Yunlin was assigned to the clothing store.

Murmurs abounded from all around; someone with sharp eyes recognized the man and the crowd, already upset by him, burst into laughter. Zhang Hai snorted coldly, having already seen through the man’s intention to cause trouble, and being from a rival store, deliberately slandering them in an attempt to ruin their business, he naturally didn’t need to show politeness: “Young Master Zhao’s statement is ridiculous.
