Chapter 1643: Chapter 1640: Eating Fish

She walked quickly over, opened the door, let Chu Heng in, then closed the door behind him. She walked over to the side, picked up the teapot, poured herself a cup of tea to drink, and only after feeling her throat was much more fortable did she ask, “Back already? Why did you e over? I’ll head back once I’m done.”

“You have the nerve to say that, once you’re busy you forget everything.” Chu Heng held a handkerchief to wipe her sweat.

Ye Muyu lifted her head to let him wipe her sweat.

Chu Heng wiped her clean. Seeing her slender neck where blue veins were visible showed how skinny she was, with fair skin. He couldn’t help but bury his head, holding her face to kiss lightly.

Originally, it was just a light touch.

But Ye Muyu subconsciously took a breath, and Chu Heng’s eyes darkened. He didn’t pull away; instead, he deepened the kiss.

After a long moment.

Ye Muyu, who was finally released, took a deep breath and leaned against him, listening to his forting voice, “Ah Heng, wait for me a moment. I’ll finish up here and then leave.”

Ye Muyu, having rested, turned back to her work.

Chu Heng shook his head helplessly, silently acpanying her from the side. Seeing the mess of things she had next to her, he reached out to tidy the various tools, putting them into a wooden box.

Seeing Ye Muyu starting to sweat again, he took a handkerchief to wipe her forehead. The tea was still warm, so he poured a cup and brought it to her lips.

Ye Muyu let him feed her several sips, and as water trickled down her chin, she casually wiped it away.

Chu Heng was quicker, gently wiping it clean with a handkerchief, “No rush, take your time. I’m free tonight, I can stay with you.”

“No, once I’m done with this bit, I’ll rest, then acpany you.” Ye Muyu smiled at him.

Seeing her so obedient, Chu Heng couldn’t help but reach out to ruffle her hair, his voice a bit hoarse, “Alright, then I’ll wait for you.”

Ye Muyu busied herself again, working for two quarters of an hour.

Once she finished, she let out a sigh of relief, straightened up, and set down the carving knife, stretching her fingers.

Chu Heng put away the carving knife she set down into the toolbox.

He reached out to massage her shoulders, his pressure just right, infused with Inner Strength, quickly easing Ye Muyu’s sore shoulders, leaving her feeling wonderfully fortable.

After massaging for a while, seeing that night was falling, Chu Heng nudged her out the door, “Let’s have dinner first, I’ll continue massaging you after we eat.”

“You promised.” Ye Muyu happily tapped his shoulder.

Chu Heng always had a pliant attitude towards her little actions.

He brought out the teapot, handed it to the maidservant waiting outside, locked the room with a turn of his hand, holding the key in one hand while holding onto her, walking towards the backyard.

Dinner had long since been prepared.

But there had been no word.

So Su Mei hadn’t served it.

Once Ye Muyu and Chu Heng sat down, the dishes were immediately brought out, still warm.

Ye Muyu, having spent the afternoon working both mentally and physically, felt a bit hungry seeing the delicious food on the table.

She picked up her chopsticks, wanting to grab the steamed pork.

Chu Heng ladled a bowl of soup for her, placing it in front of her, seeing her eating hastily, his voice helpless, “Eat slower, have some soup to warm your stomach.”

“I wasn’t hungry initially, but seeing all these goodies made me feel hungry.” Ye Muyu, facing him, laughed and drank the soup, behaving very obediently.

What else could Chu Heng say? He just went along with her.

Unexpectedly, there was fish for dinner, and Ye Muyu didn’t like fish, finding it troublesome to pick out the bones.

Chu Heng spent the whole evening picking fish bones for her.

Each time, she ate with plete trust, not fearing swallowing a fish bone, in fact, if it was Chu Heng who had picked the fish for her.
