This prompted Lu Sangqi to interrupt them: “Enough already, haven’t you noticed I’m also here?”
As if he hadn’t heard, Chu Heng again inquired about her appetite for the day.
Ye Muyu, feeling embarrassed to continue, apologized to Lu Sangqi: “Sorry, we got carried away. Are you busy today? If not, why don’t you stay for lunch?”
Lu Sangqi was not keen on agreeing, but seeing Chu Heng’s occasional glances, and the irritation in his eyes, instantly improved Lu’s originally displeased mood.
