Chapter 1312: Chapter 1309: Zhong Yan Cos to the Shop
Chu Sheng asked, “Is everything in the shop taken care of? We can help.”
Chu Lin waved his hand, “There’s nothing much, your cousin and I can handle everything. Besides, there are servants from our old ho who are experienced hands. The shop will also arrange for two apprentices, and we have Shopkeeper Zhang.”
“Then, Father, Third Uncle, we’ll go rest now.” Upon hearing this and confirming there was no need for help, Chu Sheng nodded and agreed to go rest,

He was indeed tired, influenced by the other students, he had not rested well these past nine days and was struggling to hold on, but he did not want to worry the elders and had been enduring it.

The two went back to their room which had been prepared earlier, and not long after lying down, they fell asleep, putting aside any shyness.
The brothers rested for an entire day and did not wake up until the next morning.
In between, they had gotten up to eat a little dinner and had gone straight back to sleep without any delays.

Hearing the lively noise outside the shop, Chu Zhang looked at his big brother sowhat sheepishly and scratched his head, “Big brother, I’m sorry for waking up late.”
“Ahem, let’s wash up. I got up late too.” Chu Sheng’s ears turned red with embarrassnt, thankful that it was the honest Chu Zhang witnessing it, otherwise it would have been noticed long ago.
“Father and the others left so food for us in the kitchen, let’s eat before going to help in the shop,” Chu Sheng said as he led Chu Zhang to the kitchen.
There were porridge and side dishes in the pot.
After eating quickly, they washed the dishes and then went to the front of the shop.
At this ti, there were quite a few custors in the shop, many of whom were students who had co for the exam and also so servants from local gentry families, who ca to curry favor with Chu Heng.
However, Chu Lin firmly refused to accept any gifts from anyone, so these people naturally could only buy more ink, hoping to make a good impression on the Chu family, because after a few days, probably only the Chu family’s servants would be here.

Together with Chu Zhang, they chose to stay in the shop and assist in serving the custors.
They recognized many of the students and effortlessly helped with introductions.

Just as Chu Sheng finished assisting a student, he turned around to see Zhong Yan, holding a geomancy painted fan, entering the shop with a dashing manner, fanning himself casually, and a smile on his face.
“Brother Zhong?” When Chu Sheng saw him, his heart skipped a beat, subconsciously feeling a bit reluctant to interact, but he quickly regained his composure and greeted him with a smile, “How co you’re here?”
