Chapter 1399: Chapter 1396: Third Master Zhou

“Even, I promise not to build ships in Hangzhou. If it really becos necessary to build ships, I will only cooperate with your shipyard,” Chu Jin said straightforwardly, for he truly had no ti to waste on lengthy talks: “I’m just looking for a win-win situation, not to snatch anyone’s business. After all, the Chu family is not in Hangzhou, so there’s no need to offend you.”

Having said so, Chu Jin did not persuade him further, nor did he rush him for an answer, but let soone see him off with good grace.

“Alright, Zhang, you go back to your reading. I shall soon go to et Third Master Zhou with my uncle,” Chu Jin waved his hand and was about to find Chu Lin, looking busy.

Chu Zhang quickly called out to him: “Jin, wait, is everything settled with the Liu Family Shipyard?”

“Rest assured, he will definitely choose to work with us. You just focus on reading at ho,” Chu Jin confidently winked at him.

He still held a fan in his hand, looking every inch the graceful young gentleman, betraying nothing of his peasant origins.

Chu Zhang watched for a long while. Chu Jin had already left. Watching his departing figure, Chu Zhang couldn’t help but smile reluctantly after a mont.

This child…

“The Young Master said that nobody in Hangzhou would show respect if you don’t put on airs,” the guard nearby said, suppressing a smile.

Chu Zhang touched his nose: “I wonder if Third Uncle knows how Jin is performing?”

Naturally, he didn’t, especially now that Chu Jin exuded a suave aura, a swagger that he had never seen in the capital.

Although he said this, he didn’t delay his own learning opportunities. He turned back to his room, took out his books, and imrsed himself in studying. Jin was striving to carve a path to the shipyard for himself, and he naturally had to grasp it and learn more.

Especially to ensure that once he entered the shipyard, he wouldn’t give himself away.

On the other side, Chu Jin had already t up with Chu Lin. The two left the house and headed straight for the designated Fu Yue Building.

The Zhou Family was renowned in Hangzhou.

The most famous Fu Yue Building, where only the rich families would dare to dine, and ordinary families wouldn’t even dare enter.

Upon entering, Chu Jin and Chu Lin headed straight to a first-class room on the second floor.

Just as they ascended the stairs, they saw two guards waiting at the door.

“Is it Elder Master Chu and Young Master Chu?” one of them ca up and asked respectfully.

Chu Lin nodded, “Is Third Master already here?”

“The master is waiting inside. Please co in,” the guard was not troubleso.

Chu Jin had only brought Zhang Cong along. Chu Lin led the way into the room, which was tastefully and modestly furnished. The bamboo leaf screen inside looked lively and deft and by the dining table, facing away from the door, sat a man in a bluish silk robe in a wheelchair, his long black hair tied behind his back. Even from his silhouette alone, one could tell he was no ordinary person.

“Third Master, your guests have arrived,”

The guard reported respectfully at the door, and the man in blue made an affirming sound.

The guard then exited, carefully closing the door behind him.

Chu Lin, leading Chu Jin, watched as the man in blue slowly turned his wheelchair around. The man’s features were striking — slanting eyebrows extending into the temples, star-like eyes, an aquiline nose, and profound facial features that carried a dignified air even without anger.

Already past his pri, he exuded a mature aura.

“Gentlen, please have a seat,” the man’s voice was deep, exuding a sense of aloofness.

“Thank you, Third Master,” Chu Lin bowed. After seating Chu Jin beside him, he smiled and said, “I presu Third Master knows our identities, so I’ll spare the introductions.”

Third Master Zhou spoke evenly, “Brother Chu, what brings you here today?”

The man was of the sa generation as Chu Lin, but as the youngest in the Zhou Family, he was sowhat younger.
