Chu Heng pinched her face, not denying her guess.
He changed the subject, “Has Nuanbao been behaving lately?”
Ye Muyu didn’t press further. Speaking of their son, a smile spread across her face: “He’s still so young, he eats and sleeps and doesn’t cause a fuss at all. He’s extrely well-behaved.”
Chu Heng raised an eyebrow at her words, leaning in to nibble her ear playfully: “More obedient than ?”
Ye Muyu never expected that he, as an adult, would still compete with their son for attention and burst out laughing: “How could you compare yourself with our son.”
To Chu Heng’s ears, this felt unpleasant, implying he was not as good as a little kid like Nuanbao.
That was intolerable.
His chest filled with sourness, Chu Heng sat upright, lifting her face.
She finally found a chance to break away, breathing for a mont, her cheeks flushed: “Nuanbao is still here, why act like this all of a sudden.”
