Zhang Zhonghai flicked his robe, turning to stride quickly to the tea room.

“How can Lord Chu have the leisure to drink tea here?” Zhang Zhonghai thought about how Chu Heng’s hard-sought witnesses were now gone, feeling schadenfreude, especially since the other party seed to ignore him, wishing he’d fail.

Chu Heng poured him a cup of tea. “Magistrate Zhang, I’m waiting for you.”
