Ye Muyu’s eyes curved into a smile. Bending down, she leaned closer to him and poked his cheek. “Are you sure? Aren’t you afraid your subordinates might see? Your romantic rumors will be known to everyone, and they’ll secretly laugh at you. Gossip is human nature; they won’t stay quiet just because of your status.”
“Then let them talk.” Chu Heng reached out and touched her cheek softly.
Ye Muyu felt a bit uneasy under his gaze. She intended to tease him, but ended up being teased herself. She coughed lightly and hurriedly straightened up. “Let’s go. I’ll help you up. Later, I’ll call the secret guards to bring a chair.”
“Okay.” This ti, Chu Heng didn’t refuse, stood up, and offered his arm for her to hold.
He shifted most of his weight onto Ye Muyu.
Ye Muyu didn’t expose his little sche, and the two walked side by side toward the backyard.

Ye Muyu poured a cup of hot tea for Chu Heng, placed the teapot on the stove to keep warm, and fetched books and chess to entertain Chu Heng.
She first adjusted Nuanbao’s sleeping posture, checked the diaper, and seeing it was clean, left it unchanged, and straightened the quilt.
After finishing these tasks, she retrieved the sewing basket, laid the nearly finished clothes on the bed, and settled on the footstool to complete the final touches.
Chun Xing finished the entrusted tasks, and after confirming the lady had no further instructions, she turned to leave.
She was actually heading to the nearby servants’ quarters, not leaving the yard.

Ye Muyu took just an hour to finish the final touches.
Looking at the completed parent-child outfits, she smiled contentedly.
She set aside Chu Ziluo’s outfit and planned to have it delivered tomorrow morning.
Lil’ Jin’s was put in the wardrobe, saved for when he returns.
The night was still long.
Ye Muyu rubbed her shoulder and went over.
Chu Heng heard the sound, put down the book in his hands, and as Ye Muyu approached, he reached out to massage her shoulders.
