Chapter 1635: Chapter 1632: Made Soone Angry

As soone who has grown accustod to her parents flaunting their love, Chu Ziluo honestly felt happy. However, now, for so reason, besides feeling happy, she also felt a rare twinge of envy.

Envy?

The thought popped up, and she was montarily stunned.

Thinking of sothing, she quickly patted her cheeks with so restraint. Once the heat on her face dissipated, she thought of sothing else and hesitated about whether to prepare a gift.

“Young miss, the al is ready. Please co and see if there’s any dish you particularly want to eat?” Su i led Chu Ziluo to the adjacent dining room.

Chu Ziluo shook her head and smiled politely, “There’s nothing I particularly want. I’ll wait for my parents first.”

“What about Nuanbao?”

“Chun Xing is bringing him over.”

In the washroom, Ye Muyu was kissed so breathless that she had to push him away, wipe her mouth, and reached out to untie his belt.

Checking his wound, she saw that it was slightly red and swollen. It was fine when he left ho this morning, which clearly indicated that he had been disobedient again.

Ye Muyu unconsciously frowned.

Chu Heng originally intended to coax her deliberately by saying sothing pitiful. Seeing her reaction, he realized he had overplayed it. Especially with the state of the wound, nothing he could say would clarify the situation.

“Actually, it’s nothing serious. It doesn’t hurt,” Chu Heng spoke sowhat awkwardly, in a low voice, gently stroking her head with a hint of guilt.

Ye Muyu said nothing, simply fetched so ointnt to apply it on his wound.

Throughout, she ignored whatever Chu Heng did.

Once the ointnt was applied, she put the ointnt away, closed the wooden dical box, and without paying any attention to Chu Heng, turned and walked out.

Chu Heng belatedly realized that he had upset Ye Muyu.

He reached out to grab her.

Ye Muyu, as if she had eyes on her back, deftly avoided him. Chu Heng didn’t want to hurt her. He thought about how it was indeed his disobedience that worsened the wound. It’s also his fault for being too careless and not sensitive to pain. The scab on the surface of the wound had ford, but inside, it hadn’t healed as fast. He failed to detect changes in the wound and foolishly ca back to act pitiful, only to end up genuinely pitiful.

Chu Heng quickly dressed and followed behind her.

Chu Ziluo was lost in thought. Seeing her mother enter, she quickly stood up. Just as she was about to speak, she noticed her father’s peculiar reaction as he ca in with her mother.

They sat down to eat together.

As Chu Ziluo ate, she discreetly observed her parents, finally realizing what was strange—were her parents having a disagreent?

Why was there no interaction between them at all?

“Mother, here’s your favorite chicken,” Chu Ziluo stood up to serve Ye Muyu so food.

Imdiately, Chu Heng imitated her action, using his chopsticks to serve Ye Muyu the sa dish.

Ye Muyu remained calm, serving Chu Ziluo so food, advising her to eat more since she was still growing.

Even though Chu Ziluo tried her best to ignore it, she couldn’t help but feel her father’s resentful gaze.

Father must have upset Mother!

Chu Ziluo was certain of it. She busied herself serving Chu Heng more food and then said no more, quickly finishing her al. Before they could speak, she found an excuse to leave.

Once out of the courtyard, she finally breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from her forehead.

Nenya, oblivious to everything, teased her with a smile, “Young miss, you ran out in such a hurry, I thought soone was chasing you.”

Chu Ziluo exclaid inwardly, this was scarier than being chased, okay? Father had upset Mother, and she needed to leave quickly to make space for Father to properly appease Mother.

Faced with Nenya, her expression was one that couldn’t be described.
