The surge of anger and courage to argue seed to have vanished in an instant.
Lady Li didn’t make a sound; she was still irritated by this matter just now.
Previously, she always thought the Chu family wanted to climb up to theirs, refusing to believe what the old lady said, but after being directly rejected, she could no longer deceive herself.
