Just as Zhao Rong and his assistant were about to push open the door to the abandoned library, Wang ili stopped at the entrance, her face pale with terror. Seeing that Wang ili had co prepared, Zhao Rong took the Peach Wood Sword from her. "Sister ili, thank goodness you brought this. Otherwise, we wouldn't have a proper ghost-hunting tool today."
Zhao Rong was only halfway through his sentence when the hunched shadow floated past him again like a phantom. When the assistant saw the dark specter float past again, he was so frightened that he scrambled to hide in front of Zhao Rong. "Damn it," he stuttered, "this place really is haunted…!"
"Look at that shadow!" Wang ili also said fearfully. "It's drifting back and forth over the ground. It's just like a ghost."
Just as terror gripped them, the dark specter vaguely drifted past their side. In a flash, Zhao Rong leaped up and launched a flying kick at the shadow, knocking it to the ground with a cry.
Zhao Rong lunged forward, yanked the dark figure up from the ground, and dealt three sharp slaps across its face. "Damn it!" he roared. "Did you really think we'd be scared of you just because you're wearing all black and zipping around on a scooter?"
When the assistant saw Zhao Rong kick the "ghost" to the ground, he imdiately rushed over. "Holy crap! We see ghosts on TV all the ti, but I've never seen one in real life! Let see what a ghost actually looks like!"
Wang ili also ran over, curious. "They say it's better to believe in ghosts than a man's silver tongue. Looks like I have to start believing in ghosts now."
As the assistant and Wang ili ca closer to inspect the 'ghost,' Zhao Rong landed another heavy punch in its stomach. "Damn you! Pretending to be a ghost to scare people! I'll beat you to death!"
