When the assistant learned that the mastermind, the true culprit, was Huang Xiaojuan, he stared at Zhao Rong in shock. "I'll be damned, Zhao Rong. I never would have guessed that your girl was the boss behind all this..."
Zhao Rong shot him a glare. "What nonsense are you spouting? Can you stop jinxing things for once? Huang Xiaojuan is a man, not a woman. Got it?"
When Xuelian and the injured Lili heard that Huang Xiaojuan was a man, they were both stunned.
"No way," Xuelian said in disbelief. "His makeup must be incredible, and his voice is so high-pitched. You'd never be able to tell he's a man..."
Lili added weakly, "I can't believe it. It's getting harder and harder to tell n and won apart these days..."
At that mont, Zhao Rong jumped into the rcedes van. Seeing this, the driver of a Biyadi F3 taxi who was standing nearby hurried over. "Sir, you took my cab but haven't paid yet!"
Zhao Rong imdiately pulled 10,000 yuan from his Magic Ring and tossed it to the man. "Here's 10,000 for the fare. Is that enough?"
The driver was so overwheld when he received the money that he burst into tears. "I... Seeing Zhao Rong hand over the 10,000 yuan, the masked man on the ground struggled to his feet. "Sir," he said to Zhao Rong, "didn't you say you'd give so money to disappear if I confessed?"
The assistant stepped in and punched the man in the stomach. "You didn't give us all the information we wanted. You're lucky we're letting you go, and you still have the nerve to ask for money?"
"I told you everything I know!" the masked man cried, clutching his stomach. "Our boss is Huang Xiaojuan, but I have no idea where they took Yu Lan! I've said all I can!"
Zhao Rong took out 50,000 yuan from the Magic Ring and gave it to him. "Is 50,000 enough for you to get out of town?"

Zhao Rong herded everyone into the van. "We're going back to school. My assistant and I will grab Huang Xiaojuan. Xuelian, you take Lili to your dorm, get sothing with Yu Lan's DNA on it, and use the DNA Positioning Detector to track her." Hearing the plan, they all piled into the van. Zhao Rong drove the rcedes van like a bolt of lightning, and in no ti, they arrived at the school.
After getting out, Zhao Rong and his assistant went straight to Huang Xiaojuan's dormitory, while Xuelian carried Lili back to their dorm. After helping Lili lie down, Xuelian found a cup Yu Lan had used and placed it in the DNA Positioning Detector. When the device displayed a QR code, she imdiately scanned it with a phone app and was astonished to see the red dot's location on the map. It showed that Yu Lan wasn't sowhere far away—she was right there at the school.
Xuelian let out a long sigh of relief. "To think we'd find her without any effort after searching high and low..." She imdiately called Zhao Rong.
At that mont, Zhao Rong and his assistant had just reached Huang Xiaojuan's dormitory, only to find it empty. Although Huang Xiaojuan wasn't there, Zhao Rong did find one of his used sanitary napkins. Though the item was disgusting, it was the only thing he could find that would provide a large DNA sample. With Huang Xiaojuan's DNA, he could use the detector to pinpoint his location. Just as they were leaving with the... item, Xuelian's call ca through.
"Zhao Rong, we just used Yu Lan's DNA to get a location," Xuelian said over the phone.
"Where is she? What does the detector show?" he asked eagerly.
"The DNA Positioning Detector shows that Yu Lan is right here at the school," she replied.
"Zoom in on the map and hit 'precise location'," Zhao Rong instructed. "That should give us her exact position."
Following his instructions, Xuelian zood in on the map and tapped the button. The display imdiately pinpointed a location: Room 303, Won's Dormitory Building 3 of the Sports Academy. She relayed this to Zhao Rong.
When Zhao Rong heard that the map placed Yu Lan in Room 303 of Dormitory Building 3, he was stunned. "Impossible," he said in disbelief. "Room 303 in Building 3 is Huang Xiaojuan's dorm. We were just there! He wasn't there, and the room was empty. How could the detector show Yu Lan in his room?"
Xuelian didn't know what to say. "Could the detector have made a mistake?"
Zhao Rong thought for a mont. The detector wouldn't be wrong. With that, he and his assistant headed for Room 303 in Won's Dormitory Building 3.
They were stopped at the entrance by the dorm manager, a fierce-looking middle-aged man. "What are you two doing?" he demanded. "Why are you trying to get into the won's dormitory?"
Zhao Rong tried to explain, "Sir, a friend of ours has been kidnapped and is being held in Room 303 of this building. We're here to rescue her."
The assistant muttered beside him, "Zhao Rong, if we'd known there was a manager, we should've just jumped onto the third-floor balcony. Then we wouldn't be stuck here dealing with this guy."
The manager looked Zhao Rong up and down, pushing him back. "You look like a pervert! As if there could be a kidnapper in our dorms! Get out!"
Zhao Rong was losing his patience. "Sir, listen. We're going into this dorm one way or another. You can try to stop us, but you won't succeed." With that, he shoved the manager aside and rushed for the stairs.
The assistant grabbed the man from behind. "Zhao Rong, I'll handle him!" he yelled, as the two of them imdiately started brawling.
When Zhao Rong reached Room 303, he found the door tightly shut. He knocked lightly, and upon hearing a sound from within, he imdiately kicked the door open and rushed inside. He found Yu Lan tied to a radiator, her eyes covered with a blindfold and her mouth stuffed with a white towel. He rushed forward, untied her, and removed the blindfold and gag. "Yu Lan, are you okay?"
Yu Lan was so traumatized she could barely speak. Seeing Zhao Rong, tears stread down her face. "Brother Zhao Rong, thank you for saving ... But Lili is still tied up! You have to go save her!"
Zhao Rong gave her a sip of water to calm her down. "Don't worry, Yu Lan. We've already rescued Lili."
Hearing that Lili was safe, Yu Lan managed a relieved smile. "Brother Zhao Rong, I knew you were amazing! No matter where we are, you always find a way to save us."
Zhao Rong, however, was still puzzled. How did Yu Lan end up in Huang Xiaojuan's room? He asked her, "Yu Lan, can you rember who brought you into this dorm?"
At that, Yu Lan looked around, realizing for the first ti where she was. "No way, am I really in a dorm at the Sports Academy? I feel like I was taken all over the place, only to end up right back where I started."
Zhao Rong explained, "You were. First, you were taken to a market in Xijing City, then moved into a rcedes van. That's when you and Lili were separated."
"These kidnappers are so cunning," Yu Lan said as the pieces clicked into place. "They brought all the way back to the school? Brother Zhao Rong, if it weren't for you, I'm sure no one would have ever thought to look for in a dorm room."
Hearing her words, Zhao Rong suddenly thought of the dorm manager. "Wait," he asked, "the manager downstairs was guarding the dorm so strictly. How did they get you, a captive, past him?"
Yu Lan thought back. "I was blindfolded, but I had a feeling... I didn't encounter any resistance at all when I entered this building."
Upon hearing this, Zhao Rong shouted, "Oh no! That dorm manager must be one of the kidnappers!"
With that, he swung Yu Lan onto his back and sprinted down the stairs. But when he reached the ground floor, he stopped dead, completely stunned by the scene before him...
