After beating up Mu Xiping, the group bound him hand and foot and delivered him to the police station.
When Mu Xiping was brought into the station and saw the officers, he imdiately began to deny everything. "Officer, you have to be fair and just here! These guys are claiming I threw that condom down from upstairs, but they have no evidence to prove that I was the one who threw it…"
Before Mu Xiping could finish, Xue Liani promptly produced the evidence she had collected: the very condom that had fallen to the ground and been stepped on by both the assistant and Zhao Rong. When Zhao Rong and the assistant saw that Xue Liani had actually been carrying the thing around, they were so shocked they nearly fell over.
As Zhao Rong scrambled up, he stared at the used condom in Xue Liani's hand. "Xue Liani, you're really sothing else. If you hadn't made the noble sacrifice of keeping this filthy thing, we really wouldn't have any evidence to prove what a terrible thing this guy, Mu Xiping, has done."
The assistant also gave Xue Liani a thumbs-up. "Xue Liani, your tastes may be a bit intense and your tolerance is certainly high, but I still have to applaud your actions. You've left this cunning man completely speechless."
When Mu Xiping saw the evidence Xue Liani produced, his confidence instantly deflated. But then, he suddenly looked up with a wicked smile. "So you picked up the condom. How can you prove it's mine?" With that, he threw his head back and roared with laughter.
While Mu Xiping was cackling, Xue Liani pulled an object resembling a thermoter from her pocket. "I have a DNA Decoder right here. Let's see you deny it when the proof shows this condom is yours."
With that, she stepped forward, grabbed Mu Xiping's left hand, and pricked his index finger for a drop of blood. She dripped it into the DNA Decoder and explained, "If the DNA from your blood is a perfect match for the genetic material left in this condom, it will prove the condom is yours and that you're the one who threw it from the high-rise."
Seeing the mysterious device in Xue Liani's hand, Zhao Rong asked curiously, "Xue Liani, where did you get such an amazing gadget?"
Xue Liani smiled. "Brother Zhao Rong, after being with you for so long, don't you think I'd learn to copy the master?"
Hearing this, the assistant imdiately chid in, "Xue Liani, don't tell this so-called DNA Decoder is another one of your online purchases from Treasure Mall?"
Xuelian shook her head. "Of course not."
"If you didn't buy it from Treasure Mall, then you must have gotten it from East Mall," Zhao Rong stated firmly, looking at the Divine Artifact in her hand.
Again, Xuelian shook her head. "Not there either. Keep guessing, Brother Zhao Rong."
Zhao Rong wracked his brains for a mont, then his face lit up. "Xue Liani, don't tell you were hunting for a bargain on Ping Few Mall?"
Xue Liani nodded with a smile. "I shop wherever it's cheapest."
With that, she poured the contents of the condom into the DNA Decoder. A mont later, a synthesized voice announced, "The DNA sequences of the two substances are identical."
Hearing that the DNA was a perfect match, the officer imdiately arrested Mu Xiping. "The net of justice is vast and lets nothing slip through. People like you, who commit cris and still try to argue their way out, cannot escape the punishnt of the law."
Seeing Mu Xiping brought to justice, Zhao Rong and the three won happily left the police station. After they crossed the street, however, Zhao Rong happened to look back and saw the assistant was still standing at the station entrance.
"What are you doing? Hurry up!" Zhao Rong yelled back at him.
"Don't waste our ti, hurry up and catch up!" Lili added, clearly annoyed.
Yu Lan even took a pack of spicy strips from her pocket, waving them invitingly. "Assistant, if you co over here, you can have so spicy strips! Now get a move on!"
Not to be outdone, Lili pulled out a DVD case for the latest Poro Yui film and flaunted it in the air. "Assistant! The newest release! Want to watch it? If you do, co and get it!"
Just as the three were trying their own unique thods to get the assistant to hurry, he remained rooted to the spot. Looking at them in the distance, he cried out in a pained voice, "Did you all forget? I broke my leg when I jumped from the building!"
Only then did the four of them rember that the assistant was injured. They all hurried back to his side.
When Zhao Rong's group returned to the assistant, they suddenly saw a Zhenggu Massage Hall just ten ters away.
Zhao Rong's face brightened. He said to the three won, "Talk about a perfect coincidence! Look, a Zhenggu Massage Hall. If we take the assistant there, they can definitely set his broken leg and put it in a cast."
