Lili looked at the small square box in Zhao Rong's hand and asked in confusion, "Zhao Rong, is that square box in your hand a router?"
Yu Lan examined the box more closely and said in surprise, "Zhao Rong, is there chocolate inside that box?"
Xuelian's imagination ran even wilder. "Zhao Rong," she said, "does that square box of yours contain an inflatable…?"
The assistant, however, looked at Zhao Rong thoughtfully. "Zhao Rong, Lu Xiaoqiang is holding a missile, right? Can your little box actually withstand an attack from it?"
While opening the small box, Zhao Rong pointed at a shopping app on his phone. "This gadget is called a Missile Signal Jamr," he explained. "I bought it on a whim from an online marketplace, but I never expected it would actually co in handy today."
When the three won heard him call the device a Missile Signal Jamr, they couldn't help but ask in amazent, "Oh my god, they actually sell military-grade hardware online?"
Zhao Rong nodded, his eyes darting around. "I guess so."
Just as Zhao Rong opened the box, Lu Xiaoqiang, who was standing nearby with the missile launcher, widened his eyes and sneered, "Idiot! You think a little box can stop my missile? You can all just wait to die!"
With that, Lu Xiaoqiang slamd the launch button.
The mont he fired, Zhao Rong pressed a switch on the small box. Instantly, the box transford into a remote control. Zhao Rong began manipulating it, seizing command of the missile that was hurtling toward them.
What happened next was astonishing.
The small box in Zhao Rong's hand now had complete control over the missile's trajectory. As he operated the device, he said to the assistant and the won, "Watch closely. I'm about to give him a taste of his own dicine."
When Lu Xiaoqiang saw that the unimpressive little box in Zhao Rong's hand could actually control the missile he had launched, he sputtered in disbelief, "No way! You can't use my own missile to blow up!"
Before he could finish his sentence, Zhao Rong sent the missile hurtling back toward him.
With a deafening explosion, Lu Xiaoqiang was blown off his feet. The massive shockwave also obliterated the iron fence that had been blocking their path. After the explosion subsided and the shockwave passed, Zhao Rong walked out with the assistant, Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian.
Soon, they found a barely conscious Lu Xiaoqiang by the corridor.
Zhao Rong walked over and checked for a pulse. Shaking his head, he said, "His breathing is faint, and his pulse is even weaker. It looks like he isn't going to make it."
Lying on the ground, Lu Xiaoqiang exhaled a puff of white vapor. He stared at Zhao Rong and, mustering all his strength, said slowly, "I thought you were just so scapegoat sent by the Chairman… I never expected you to be a master."
"I'm no master," Zhao Rong said humbly. "I'm just good at online shopping."
Hearing this, Lu Xiaoqiang imdiately thought of the square box. Staring at it intensely, he said in amazent, "I refuse to believe that sothing precise enough to guide and control a missile's trajectory can just be bought online!"
Seeing his disbelief, Zhao Rong opened the shopping app on his phone and typed "Missile Signal Jamr" into the search bar. Instantly, the screen filled with listings for dozens of identical square boxes, all advertised as missile signal jamrs.
When Lu Xiaoqiang saw that such miraculous gadgets were indeed for sale online, the shock was too much, and he fainted.
Just then, the assistant and the other won walked over. Looking at the unconscious Lu Xiaoqiang, the assistant asked, "Zhao Rong, what should we do with him?"
While dressing Lu Xiaoqiang's wounds, Zhao Rong pulled out his phone to call for an ambulance. "First, let's get him to a hospital. Then, we'll inform the Chairman that we've captured Hongda Company's most dangerous corporate spy, Lu Xiaoqiang."
Lili stepped forward and asked, "Zhao Rong, we may have caught Lu Xiaoqiang, but where are we going to find his two accomplices, Huang Xiaojuan and the weightlifter woman?"
Zhao Rong smiled and pulled another device from his pocket. "This is called a Subconscious Tracker. As long as we have this, finding them will be easy."
He then placed a device resembling a pair of headphones onto Lu Xiaoqiang's temples. Imdiately, the tracker's screen displayed the locations of Huang Xiaojuan and the weightlifter.
Seeing such a magical device, the assistant asked curiously, "Zhao Rong, what's the principle behind that instrunt? How does it locate them?"
Zhao Rong smiled and explained, "It's just like its na suggests. As long as the person lying here is thinking about Huang Xiaojuan and the weightlifter on a subconscious level, this tracker can pinpoint their location."
Hearing about yet another high-tech gadget, the assistant asked incredulously, "Don't tell you also bought this thing online?"
Zhao Rong nodded seriously. "You have to stretch your imagination. On that marketplace, there's nothing you can't buy, only things you can't imagine."
The assistant was awestruck. "Zhao Rong, now I understand why you're so incredible. It's because you're brilliant at leveraging what others have created to reach the top."
"Not at all," Zhao Rong said modestly. "I just have a vivid imagination."
As he spoke, Zhao Rong stored the unconscious Lu Xiaoqiang in his Magic Ring and checked the Subconscious Tracker again. "According to the location displayed on this machine, Huang Xiaojuan and the weightlifter should be together. And right now, they're in the school library."
Hearing that they were in the library, the assistant furiously pulled a dagger from her waist and hissed, "That bastard Huang Xiaojuan! He pretended to be a woman, toyed with my feelings, and even stole my first ti! I'm going to find him and make him pay in blood!"
Lili pulled a set of nunchucks from her belt, gritting her teeth. "I have to find that Huang Xiaojuan. I'll teach him the price a man pays for trying to compete with three won for the sa guy!"
Yu Lan, anwhile, pulled out a revolver and began loading it. "Let's just go to the library, find that detestable Huang Xiaojuan, and put a bullet in him. Problem solved."
Compared to Yu Lan's revolver, Xuelian was even more extre. She pulled out a stick of dynamite from her waist and said with righteous indignation, "I've had many rivals in love, but this is the first ti one of them has been a man!"
Seeing how violent the won were, Zhao Rong gasped and quickly cautioned them, "Hey, calm down, everyone! We live in a lawful society. You have to show so restraint and not do anything illegal. As for Huang Xiaojuan and the weightlifter, we just need to apprehend them and hand them over to the police for processing."
With that, Zhao Rong led the assistant and the three fuming won toward the school library.
Soon, the group of five arrived at the sports academy's library. However, when they stepped inside, they were stunned. The vast library was completely empty.
Zhao Rong muttered to himself with a hint of suspicion, "Damn… This place is usually packed. Why is there no one here today? Don't tell we've walked into another trap?"
The assistant was on high alert. "Zhao Rong, we need to be extrely vigilant."
Lili's heart was in her throat as she carefully scanned their surroundings. "This is a library… there shouldn't be a problem, right?"
But then Yu Lan spotted a lone figure in the distance. "Look over there, there's soone!"
Xuelian turned to look and imdiately brandished her stick of dynamite. "Could that person be Huang Xiaojuan?"
Zhao Rong squinted, then breathed a sigh of relief. "Are you guys blind? That old man is obviously just the librarian for the sports academy."
Saying this, he walked toward the librarian. But as he drew closer, he made a horrifying discovery. The librarian sitting in the chair was a corpse.
Zhao Rong yelled, "Assistant, Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, watch out! We're in for a tough fight!"
Before he could even finish speaking, the library doors slamd shut. From the ceiling, a dozen masked figures descended, brandishing all sorts of weapons. Before Zhao Rong's group could react, they were completely surrounded.
