When Zhao Rong heard about the new mission, he turned to the Chairman in utter surprise and said, "Chairman, are you sure this new task is for ?"
As he spoke, Zhao Rong glanced at Lili standing in front of him, then turned back to look at Xuelian and Yu Lan standing behind him.
Seeing Zhao Rong's bewildernt, the Chairman stepped forward, gripped his shoulders, gave them a little shake, and said firmly, "Zhao Rong, I believe only you can complete this mission. Anyone else wouldn't even get in the door, let alone finish the job."
Zhao Rong swallowed nervously, looked at the Chairman sheepishly, and said, "Chairman, to be honest, I can do this mission... but I'm afraid Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian won't agree."
The Chairman glanced at his fuming daughter, then smiled reassuringly at Zhao Rong. "Zhao Rong, work is work and romance is romance. You can't shirk your duties over personal feelings."
The female secretary beside the Chairman also stepped forward to chi in, "To excel, one must be willing to forget food and sleep, to sacrifice themselves for their work."
Zhao Rong nodded, his Adam's apple bobbing. He then looked at the Chairman and asked, "So, when do I go to the Won's University?"
It turned out the mission the Chairman had arranged for Zhao Rong was to go to the Won's University and pursue a campus belle nad Wang Guihua.
The Chairman checked his watch and said, "Ti waits for no one. You and your assistant must head to the Won's University imdiately."
Zhao Rong nodded and glanced at Lili before bravely asking the Chairman, "Once I successfully pursue the campus belle Wang Guihua, is my mission complete?"
The Chairman nodded, smiling. "Wang Guihua is the only daughter of my good friend Wang Xiaopeng, the top tycoon of Xijing City. Not only does she not date, but she seems utterly disinterested in n, which is a huge headache for her father. Wang Guihua is already twenty-two years old, but she has never been in a relationship or even experienced what love feels like."

When the Chairman saw his daughter was upset, he awkwardly explained, "My dearest daughter, you've misunderstood. I know you like Zhao Rong, but I'm only sending him to pursue Wang Guihua on the surface. It's not a genuine courtship. I'm simply asking him to do a favor for Wang Xiaopeng, not to develop real feelings."
Lili was not at all convinced. Glaring, she demanded, "But what if Zhao Rong develops real feelings in the process?"
Before Lili had even finished, Yu Lan stepped forward, fuming. "Exactly! What if Zhao Rong actually develops real feelings? Then we'll have another rival for his affection!"
Xuelian added, wiping away tears, "Zhao Rong belongs to the three of us! No other girl should be allowed near him, let alone have him pursue her!"
The Chairman tried to console the three won, "Don't worry; I've already anticipated this problem."
Lili snapped, throwing a tantrum, "What good is thinking about it in advance? Feelings aren't sothing you can just control!"
The Chairman took a chip-like object from his pocket. Flaunting it in the air, he said to the three won, "Of course, I ca prepared. I'm going to attach this emotional monitoring chip to Zhao Rong's skin. The mont he starts developing feelings for Wang Guihua, my computer will be alerted instantly.
"As soon as I get that alert, I will imdiately terminate his mission and fire him from our company. I think this guarantees that Zhao Rong won't develop any real feelings for Wang Guihua during his pursuit."
Lili stared at the incredible chip in her father's hand and exclaid, "Dad, you have sothing that amazing? Quick, put it on Zhao Rong! That way, we won't have to worry about him falling for Wang Guihua and abandoning the three of us."
At his daughter's words, the Chairman imdiately handed the chip to his female secretary, Secretary Cang, and instructed her, "Secretary Cang, stick this chip on Zhao Rong's thigh."
Secretary Cang nodded and gently pressed the chip onto Zhao Rong's thigh.
When Zhao Rong saw the chip attached to his leg, he asked the Chairman curiously, "Is this chip really that amazing?"
The Chairman chuckled. "If you don't believe , feel free to test it. The mont you develop real feelings for Wang Guihua—or if you so much as hold hands, kiss, or sleep together—I'll get an alert and terminate the mission instantly."
When Zhao Rong heard how ridiculously effective the chip was, he was dumbfounded.
I was hoping I might have a romantic encounter while pursuing Wang Guihua, but I never imagined the Chairman would be monitoring my every move.
Although the constant surveillance made Zhao Rong uncomfortable, the thought of the enormous wealth and prizes the Chairman would reward him with upon completion kept him from complaining.
Zhao Rong nodded. "Fine, Chairman. I accept the mission."
After agreeing, he suddenly asked curiously, "Since I'm going to the Won's University to pursue the campus belle, shouldn't it be just my assistant and ? Why bring Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian?"
The Chairman shook his head, looking at his daughter, Yu Lan, and Xuelian. "The five of you are a unit, a team. How could I let you two go off on your own without the three of them?"
When Zhao Rong heard that he had to pursue the campus belle Wang Guihua while bringing three other won with him, he could feel the difficulty of the mission mounting. "Chairman, if I bring three beautiful won with to the Won's University, won't that just create a ton of obstacles in my pursuit of Wang Guihua?"
"That's your problem, not mine," the Chairman said nonchalantly. "However, this mission is extrely demanding, and you have only two paths. First, complete the mission and receive a reward so breathtaking it will shock you.
"Second, if you fail the mission, you will be automatically fired from Hongda Company."
Hearing how imnse the challenge was, Zhao Rong felt a knot of apprehension in his stomach. Still, he put on a confident facade and said to the Chairman, "No problem. Leave this mission to . I guarantee I'll complete it within the month."
Seeing that Zhao Rong had accepted the mission, the Chairman snapped his fingers at Secretary Cang and said, "Now, bring over the rcedes-Benz RV I'm giving to Zhao Rong. Then, give them the GPS coordinates and let them drive themselves to the Won's University to register."
Hearing that he was just supposed to drive there and register, Zhao Rong felt lost. "Chairman, you're just sending us off like this? Without any paperwork, student IDs, or anything? How are we supposed to register?"
Listening to his concerns, the Chairman reassured him, "Don't you trust to handle things? I'm telling you, just go. When you arrive at the gate of the Won's University, a beautiful teacher will be there to greet you.
"All you have to do is follow her inside, attend classes as scheduled, and complete your mission. It's that simple."
Hearing that a beautiful teacher would be there to receive them, Zhao Rong was filled with anticipation. "As long as soone is there to et us, that's great."
With that, Zhao Rong followed the Chairman downstairs.
When their group arrived at the entrance, he imdiately spotted a massive, luxurious rcedes-Benz RV parked nearby.
The Chairman pointed to the vehicle and said to Zhao Rong, "From now on, this rcedes-Benz RV is your personal property. Now, drive it to the Won's University and get registered."
