Soon, Zhao Rong and his party of five arrived at the back door of the Phoenix Ballroom.
Facing the door, Zhao Rong took a deep breath and placed a hand on the doorknob. As he began pulling it open, he said to the beautiful won and his assistant beside him, "Everyone take a guess. What kind of world do you think we'll face when I open this door?"
The assistant stepped forward and shared his thoughts. "I think when Brother Zhao Rong opens this door, we'll definitely enter a special private room..."
Lili shot him a glare and scolded him, "You big pervert! All you ever think about is going to places like that. It's utterly degenerate and shalessly lecherous!"
After her outburst, Lili shared her own idea with Zhao Rong. "Brother Zhao Rong, I think when you open this back door of the Phoenix Ballroom, we'll surely enter another magical world. But this world won't be a parking lot or a canyon in the desert. It'll be a world of grasslands with lush vegetation and plentiful water..."
Hearing Lili talk about a world of grasslands, Yu Lan burst out laughing. "I disagree," she said. "I think when Brother Zhao Rong opens this door, we'll just end up back in the desert canyon, like before."
Xuelian let her own imagination run wild. "You're all wrong. I think when Brother Zhao Rong opens this door, we'll definitely enter the palace where the villain Hong Ju is, and we'll finally catch him!"
Hearing everyone's theories, Zhao Rong couldn't quite agree with any of them. As he opened this final door, he said, "I think, when I open this door, any one of you could be right, or you could all be wrong..."
The mont Zhao Rong opened the door, the five of them were completely stunned by the scene inside.
Zhao Rong looked at the shaless couples tangled together and roared, "You shaless animals! Doing this sort of thing in here! Get out, right now, or I'm calling the police!"
Lili winced and covered her eyes. "You people will all catch so venereal disease one day and regret it for the rest of your lives!" she said angrily.
Yu Lan looked disgusted. "I can't believe this is what was behind the door. If we'd known you were engaged in this kind of... transaction, we never would have opened it."
Xuelian was even more repulsed. She kicked aside so used tissues and... other things on the floor. "Damn it," she said, feeling nauseous. "I always thought ballrooms were just for dancing. I never imagined such shaful, illicit, perverted dealings went on inside!"
In stark contrast to the three won, the assistant was thrilled. "If I'd known this kind of thing happened in ballrooms, I would have saved myself trips to bath centers, hair salons, and shampoo parlors!"
As soon as the occupants saw the door open, they panicked, scrambled to put on their clothes, and fled.
After they had all run out, Zhao Rong stepped inside and was imdiately hit by a foul, coppery sll. He glanced at the surrounding walls, then out at the parking lot, and shook his head. "It seems that once we've crossed from that other dinsion into the human world, it's going to be very difficult to go back."
Lili looked at the phone in Zhao Rong's hand. "Brother Zhao Rong, since we can't get back to that other world, hurry up and open the Paradise Shopping Cart app! Buy a Ti-Space Traverser!"
Yu Lan sighed with regret. "If only we had known we could get to the human world from that other dinsion through the Phoenix Ballroom. We could have left markers along the way. Then we wouldn't have gotten lost."
Xuelian reflected on their situation. "Maybe not being able to go back is a good thing. In a way, it gives us an added sense of security."
While the won were talking, Zhao Rong had already clicked "Purchase" and requested that the seller deliver it via courier cannon. About a minute later, a package rolled in from outside and dropped at his feet.
As Zhao Rong picked it up, he wondered aloud, "Everything I've bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart before has had a dual purpose. I'm curious to see what this Ti-Space Traverser can do besides, well, traversing ti and space."
The assistant peered at the package in Zhao Rong's hands. "Brother Zhao Rong, I bet the Ti-Space Traverser is so high-end gadget, like those Dutch lithography machines that no other country can manufacture, no matter how hard they try to copy them."
Lili's mind went wild. "I think it must be a precise piece of black tech, like a microchip. Otherwise, it wouldn't be very portable, would it?"
Yu Lan disagreed. "Haven't we bought enough things from the Paradise Shopping Cart to know better? Doesn't everyone realize that its black tech always looks incredibly dumb on the surface? I bet this Ti-Space Traverser looks like sothing ordinary, maybe a phone charger, a power strip, a hairdryer, or even a kettle—a high-tech product hiding its incredible power behind a mundane appearance."
Xuelian offered her own wild theory. "I think the Ti-Space Traverser Brother Zhao Rong bought must be like a photocopier. Why do I say that? Because every ti I take my ID to the copy shop downstairs, I get this futuristic, sci-fi feeling from the machine."
Before the won could say more, Zhao Rong tore open the package. But when he pulled the black-tech gadget out, the assistant and the three won were so shocked they fell to the floor.
The assistant scrambled up, pointed at the object in Zhao Rong's hand, and said with crushing disappointnt, "Brother, did you just buy an automatic pencil sharpener for a relative's school-aged kid?"
Lili stared at the device, scratching the back of her head. She was completely unable to connect the ordinary gadget to a so-called Ti-Space Traverser. Utterly bewildered, she said, "Brother Zhao Rong, I don't get it. Is this automatic pencil sharpener really the Ti-Space Traverser?"
Xuelian pulled a magnifying glass from her pocket and examined the sharpener closely. "Although it looks like an automatic pencil sharpener," she said in amazent, "when you look at it with a magnifying glass, you'll see it's not a pencil sharpener at all! It's a high-tech device assembled from countless nanotechnologies!"
