"Thank you!"
Wu Tianzhuo ca to his senses and looked at Ye Luo with gratitude.
"You don’t need to be so formal, but killing soone from the Divine Sword Sect this ti, I’m afraid you’re going to be implicated because of it!"
Ye Luo said to Wu Tianzhuo with a calm gaze.
"Ah... all of this is because of Wei Jian, that scoundrel. He must have wanted to use the people from the Divine Sword Sect to eliminate and take control of the Divine Sword Villa. It led to all this. If the Divine Sword Sect cos looking for soone to bla, I will take full responsibility and won’t involve you, brother."
Wu Tianzhuo said to Ye Luo with a grave tone.
"You don’t need to worry so much, I reckon it won’t be long before I take down the entire Divine Sword Sect, and then you won’t have anything to worry about."
Ye Luo said, his eyes twinkling with a sharp light.
"You want to take down the entire Divine Sword Sect?"
Hearing Ye Luo’s words, Wu Tianzhuo’s face showed shock, and his eyes revealed an incredulous look.
"Yes, I want to bring the entire Divine Sword Sect under my command."
Ye Luo nodded.
"But..."
"I know, I’m already very clear about the situation with the Divine Sword Sect. Taking down the current Divine Sword Sect is not a big deal at all, so you don’t need to worry about them doing anything to you."
A confident smile played at the corner of Ye Luo’s mouth.
Wu Tianzhuo looked at Ye Luo, his eyes shining, and suddenly he bowed deeply, "My life was saved by you, I, Wu Tianzhuo, am willing to beco your subordinate."
"You’re smart, I’ll accept you as my subordinate."
"Thank you, Master!"
Wu Tianzhuo bowed deeply again.
"This is my phone number, contact at any ti if there is any situation in the Divine Sword Sect."
Ye Luo left his number and then left the Divine Sword Sect, while Wu Tianzhuo’s eyes twinkled with a peculiar light.
After leaving the Divine Sword Villa, Ye Luo planned to leave Su City. As there were no cars in the vicinity of the Divine Sword Villa, Ye Luo had to walk.
On a street, a man with disheveled hair, unkempt clothes, and a crooked tie walked as if his soul had left him, his eyes filled with defeat.
The man exuded a strong sense of desolation and loneliness as if he had been greatly shocked. This man was none other than Hu Haoming, whom Ye Luo had seen on the train, but the Hu Haoming of now was completely different from before.
"Beep beep beep beep!"
Just then, a car approached in the distance, and Hu Haoming just happened to obstruct its path.
The driver of the car repeatedly honked the horn to warn him, but Hu Haoming seed oblivious, continuing to walk as if completely unaware of the impending danger.
So pedestrians around saw that the car was about to hit the man and could not help but sigh. So even closed their eyes, not daring to witness the grueso scene that was about to unfold.
Bang!
Suddenly, a thunderous sound erupted, causing everyone’s eardrums to buzz, and then the surrounding pedestrians looked over, their eyes wide with shock.
They saw a man who had appeared out of nowhere in front of the car, with one hand actually blocking the front of the speeding car, bringing it to a sudden halt.
Witnessing this miraculous scene, everyone felt as if they were watching a superhero movie; it was simply unbelievable.
Even the car driver was staring, dumbfounded. He knew the imnse strength it would take to forcibly stop a car under such circumstances.
It was beyond imagination, yet this young man had stopped his car with a single palm—this was nothing short of superhuman.
"That person looks so familiar!"
"It seems like the dical Martial God!"
"That’s right, it’s the dical Martial God!"
"The dical Martial God is so powerful, truly worthy of being the idol I worship!"
Soon, the pedestrians around the street recognized the identity of the young man who stopped a car with his palm as Ye Luo, and then this crowd rushed towards him like crazed fans in pursuit of a celebrity.
"Damn it!"
Seeing the crazed look in these people’s eyes, Ye Luo’s expression changed instantly, and he quickly grabbed Hu Haoming beside him and disappeared from the spot.
In Su City, by the tranquil riverside, Ye Luo and Hu Haoming appeared there.
"Thank you for saving , but you might as well have let get hit and die; then I wouldn’t have to feel so much pain. It seems that the Taoist didn’t miscalculate after all; I indeed had a disaster looming."
Hu Haoming looked utterly dejected, his expression filled with desolation and pain.
"You’ve changed too quickly, haven’t you? Weren’t you spirited and lively just a few hours ago? How co you suddenly seem like a different person, a corporate tycoon contemplating suicide—what happened to you?"
Ye Luo looked at Hu Haoming with a curious expression.
"I’m no longer any corporate tycoon. I’ve lost everything—no fiancée, no company, and even the brother I trusted the most has betrayed ."
Hu Haoming sat down by the river, his expression bitter.
"What exactly happened? Tell about it," Ye Luo said indifferently to Hu Haoming.
"I, Hu Haoming, started from scratch at eighteen, relying on my own efforts to gain my current status and career. I had a childhood friend who was jobless, so I gave him a job at the company and even made him vice president, my most trusted person."
"But I never imagined he was scheming behind my back all along, even hooking up with my wife. This ti I was out of town for business, and today happens to be my fiancée’s birthday."
"I rushed back to celebrate her birthday because there were no plane tickets available, so I took the train back specially. Yet, these two treacherous lovers took advantage of my absence to drain my company, transferring all of its assets and funds, leaving with nothing, those despicable traitors!"
Hu Haoming roared with a fierce, angry expression, his fists crackling, his face looking extrely grim.
"This situation feels so familiar to ; it’s like sothing out of a news report about so celebrity—it seems like both you and he are equally out of luck!"
Ye Luo shook his head.
"One was my most trusted brother, the other my most beloved woman, why did they do this to ?"
Hu Haoming’s eyes were filled with an angry expression.
"Since the brother you trusted the most and your dearest fiancée have both betrayed you, leaving you with nothing, you shouldn’t be thinking of dying now. If you died, wouldn’t that just make them happy? I bet they’d even pop a few bottles of champagne to celebrate," Ye Luo spoke up.
"Now that I have nothing left, what can I do if I don’t die? They’ve even set up a new company and are going to have a party to celebrate tonight."
"Everything that company has was originally mine. Am I supposed to just watch them be happy and content? I’d rather die than live with even more pain."
Hu Haoming spoke, shaking his head and sighing.
