The lords of the major sect families and powers all entered the grand hall of Jiu Hua Sect, while their attendants, along with the ordinary disciples of Jiu Hua Sect, took their seats outside.
In this great hall, the various Elders and stewards of the Jiu Hua Sect gathered; one might say all the experts of the Spirit Sea Realm and above from the entire Jiu Hua Sect were here.
At the foremost sat Xie Yuquan and the Second Elder, both donned in festive red robes for the occasion. Arranged on either side of them were rows of chairs and tables where the representatives from the attending powers settled down.
"First, I would like to express Jiu Hua Sect’s gratitude to all friends who have gone to great lengths to join my daughter’s wedding," Xie Yuquan said as he stood and addressed everyone present.
He rose and spoke directly to the crowd.
"Sect Leader Xie is too kind. As the esteed Sect Leader of Jiu Hua Sect, who commands the vast Jiu Hua Sect with its thousands of disciples, how could we not co to celebrate such an important event as your daughter’s wedding?"
A Sect Leader from a first-class Sect remarked with a smile on his face.
The others agreed with him, one after another.
"Thank you all for coming. Now, let’s wait patiently for the bride and groom to make their entrance," the Second Elder suddenly announced.
Xie Yuquan’s eyes flickered for a mont, but he said nothing and sat down.
In Die Wu’s room, she was dressed in a festive red bridal gown, her eyes sparkling with a trace of pain.
"Jing Wu, I’m sorry. For my mother’s sake, I had to do this. I hope you can forgive ," Die Wu muttered to herself, a tear rolling down from her eye.
anwhile, outside of Jiu Hua Sect, three figures appeared – it was Ye Luo, Luo Ji, and the War God.
"Ye Luo, are you sure it’s okay to bring your little beauty here at this ti? If a fight breaks out, it’s going to be very difficult to look out for both of you," the War God glanced at Luo Ji and said to Ye Luo.
"Don’t worry, she won’t have any issues," Ye Luo shook his head and replied. Before, he might have been worried, but after witnessing the result of the Goddess’ attack on Luo Ji, he knew that Luo Ji was definitely not as simple as only being able to predict the future. Even Strength from the fifth level of the Spirit Sea Realm couldn’t harm her, so naturally, Ye Luo had nothing to worry about.
"Now that all the Hidden Sect’s forces are gathered here, and the place is full of experts, what’s your plan?" the War God asked, scanning the Jiu Hua Sect with his eyes before turning to Ye Luo.
"You two stay here and don’t show yourselves. I’ll go in first to rescue Jing Wu, then you two can join us," Ye Luo said with a glint in his eye.
"There are so many experts here. You’ll be discovered the mont you appear," the War God expressed his concern.
"Don’t worry, I won’t," Ye Luo shook his head, then darted forward, asking the Eight Feet Mirror to hide him and to conceal all his aura.
With the aid of the Eight Feet Mirror, none of these people could discover him as Ye Luo headed toward the dungeon where he had seen Jing Wu imprisoned yesterday.
Inside a heavily guarded dungeon within the Jiu Hua Sect, a Jiu Hua Sect disciple appeared, heading straight for the cell where Hou Jingwu was held.
At that mont, Hou Jingwu lay on the ground, pale, his entire Strength suppressed by a special drug, rendering him unable to mobilize any, his eyes showing a cold glint.
This disciple of the Jiu Hua Sect, at the fifth level of the Hua Yuan Realm, entered the cell containing Hou Jingwu, looked straight at him, and a cold smile erged on his lips as he said:
"Hou Jingwu, today is Miss Die Wu’s wedding to young master Bai Yu, and also your day of burial."
"Was it the Second Elder who sent you to kill ?"
Hou Jingwu’s expression was cold, his eyes icy as he spat out the words.
"You’re smart, but it’s a pity you’re about to die."
As the Jiu Hua Sect disciple spoke, a dagger suddenly appeared in his hand, and he walked straight toward Hou Jingwu.
"Even if I die, I will not let you off."
Hou Jingwu said coldly.
"You won’t have that chance."
The Jiu Hua Sect disciple snorted coldly, and the dagger in his hand stabbed toward Hou Jingwu. The latter’s eyes flashed with unwillingness before closing.
Pu-chi!
A sudden sound of blood spurting startled Hou Jingwu. His eyes flew open involuntarily, only to see a longsword suddenly pierce through the Jiu Hua Sect disciple from behind.
The Jiu Hua Sect disciple’s eyes beca vacant; he looked down at the sword tip piercing through his chest, and with a thud, he fell to the ground.
"Boss!"
When Hou Jingwu saw the man fall and then noticed Ye Luo appearing behind him, his expression was extrely excited.
"It seems my timing is quite fortunate. That Second Elder really is venomous!"
Ye Luo curled his lip, walked over to Hou Jingwu, and checked his body. Soon after, several silver needles appeared in his hand, and he inserted them into the acupoints around Hou Jingwu’s body. A surge of Nine Yang Energy flowed through the silver needles into his body.
After a short while, the drug suppressing Hou Jingwu’s strength was expelled by Ye Luo. Hou Jingwu’s strength returned, and he imdiately leapt to his feet.
"Boss, thank you for rescuing . You go first, I must find Die Wu!"
"Don’t worry, your Die Wu hasn’t married anyone yet. I know where she is; I’ll take you to her."
Ye Luo spoke indifferently, leading Hou Jingwu toward the outside. This ti he didn’t conceal their escape, walking openly out with Hou Jingwu.
The guards inside the dungeon soon spotted the two of them. Their faces changed drastically, and they rushed over in haste.
"Ha!"
Before Ye Luo could act, Hou Jingwu bellowed, his eyes glimring coldly, his whole body radiating cosmic light. He exploded with a fearso aura.
With a punch, cosmic light burst forth, and a Hua Yuan Realm Fifth Level Jiu Hua Sect disciple was sent flying.

In the blink of an eye, several Jiu Hua Sect guards were sent flying by Hou Jingwu; clearly, he had been harboring a deep anger that now found its release.
Boom! Boom!
Two imnse auras suddenly descended. The two Hua Yuan Realm Eighth Level experts that Ye Luo’s Clairvoyant Eye had previously detected appeared on the scene, each of them launching a palm strike at Hou Jingwu.
"Cosmic Palm!"
Hou Jingwu coldly shouted, his hands equally striking out. His body surged with cosmic light, stars surrounding him, transforming him into a master of the starry skies, an enormous aura emanating from him.
The clashes of their attacks resulted in deep, thunderous sounds, and a terrifying wave of energy burst forth. Hou Jingwu staggered backwards, while the two Hua Yuan Realm Eighth Level experts were also pushed back several steps.
