At that mont, Xiao Jianfei had already escaped from Heng Mountain. Looking back, his eyes flickered with a sinister cold light, and his face was grim.
"Wait and see, I will make sure you cannot leave this Heng Mountain."

The next day, Ye Luo and Xiao Jiannan were walking in the Heng Mountain range.

"This trip out was led by my second uncle and so Xiao Family Elders; however, we got separated when we went to look for Lingxu Grass, which provided an opportunity for Xiao Jianfei. I need to find my uncle first, tell him what happened, and then return to the Xiao Family together."
Xiao Jiannan spoke solemnly.
As the two chatted and walked, they suddenly saw a crowd ahead, surrounding a man and a woman.
The man was dressed in a white robe, with long hair and two strands of hair framing his forehead. His handso and clear face was complented by a radiant smile, holding a feather fan, exuding a graceful and elegant air, like a young nobleman from ancient tis, very eye-catching.
In front of this man stood a woman in a red dress, tall and beautiful.
Her features were picturesque, with long eyelashes fluttering, a high nose, and luscious lips that tempted one to taste them. Her skin was white as jade, her hands soft, and her complexion creamy.
Her fiery red hair added a hint of charm and seduction. However, this beautiful woman’s expression was cold, with a proud look in her eyes, and her aura kept people at a distance.
"Feng Liu, why are you so cold to ? I’ve prepared many fine things especially for you!"
The man in the white robe shook his feather fan, smiling at the stunning beauty.
"Si Wenxing, please rember, I don’t want to waste words with you. You have already had an engagent with the daughter of the Shangguan Family. Please do not show up in front of courting favor anymore; it only makes loathe you more!"
The woman in red spoke coldly, her voice clear and chilly with a strong aloofness and a trace of disgust.
"That engagent is rely sothing my father and the Shangguan Family Head arranged. Also, that woman isn’t born of Lady Shangguan but allegedly from the Family Head and a maid. Being with her doesn’t fit my status at all; I don’t know why my father would have marry such a woman."
The man in the white robe spoke discontentedly. His gaze then shifted to the woman in red, affectionately saying, "Feng Liu, the only one Si Wenxing likes is you!"
"Si Wenxing, if you spout any more nonsense, don’t bla for being rude!"
The woman’s expression turned icy as she sharply retorted, her aura radiating intense heat.
"The Shangguan Family?"
Ye Luo approached and upon seeing this scene and hearing about the Shangguan Family, murmured to himself, his eyes shimring with light.
Hearing this about the Shangguan Family reminded Ye Luo of the beautiful flight attendant Shangguan Xiner, whom he had once pretended to be the boyfriend of.
Although they hadn’t known each other for long, their relationship was quite good. However, later, Shangguan Xiner had been taken away.
Only then did he realize that she was from the powerful Hidden Sect, the Shangguan Family. Since then, he hadn’t seen her for such a long ti and didn’t expect to hear the na of the Shangguan Family today.

"Recently, I heard that the Family Head of the Shangguan Family has found his own illegitimate daughter and has set a marriage arrangent with Si Wenxing, the eldest young master of the Si Family, planning to hold the wedding after the Qing List Competition. I don’t know what the head of the Si Family is thinking, actually willing to let his son marry an illegitimate daughter of the Shangguan Family."
Jian Nan said indifferently.
"Illegitimate daughter?"

"I should know her."
Ye Luo said, then walked straight over, his gaze fixed on Si Wenxing as he asked, "Is the Miss of the Shangguan Family you spoke of called Shangguan Xiner?"
"Who are you, boy? How do you know Shangguan Xiner?"
Hearing Ye Luo ntion his fiancée’s na, Si Wenxing’s eyes flashed with surprise, as it was rare for outsiders to know the na of his fiancée, who was just an illegitimate daughter and had only recently returned to the Shangguan Family. Not many outsiders were aware of her.
"It’s nothing."
Having heard the other’s response, Ye Luo already knew that the Shangguan Family’s illegitimate daughter who was about to marry Si Wenxing was indeed Shangguan Xiner. No wonder the people of the Shangguan Family had taken Shangguan Xiner back.

But from Si Wenxing’s tone, he knew that Si Wenxing looked down on Shangguan Xiner. One could imagine what life would be like for Shangguan Xiner after their marriage.
