In his hand, there was a map of this Secret Realm, a map constantly explored and perfected by the strong of the Da Yue Empire through generations.
Ye Luo’s target was precisely those unknown areas on the map!
After all, unknown areas represent places no one has ventured into, or at least, no one from the Da Yue Empire has been, which ans the chance of discovering sothing is quite high!
This Secret Realm seed not to be a Secret Realm at all; Ye Luo and his companions had not encountered any enemies or traps, as if there was no danger here at all.
Of course, the three of them stayed vigilant nonetheless, for it was said that this Secret Realm had devoured countless people, earning the na Absolute Domain, so how could there be no danger at all?
"Eh, what’s that?"
Suddenly, Feng Ling stopped walking, pointing forward as she spoke.
Ye Luo and Ao Long stopped simultaneously, looking towards where Feng Ling was pointing.
"It seems to be a light; when rare treasures appear, they’re often accompanied by radiance. Could it be there’s so treasure?"
Ao Long said in surprise.
"Who cares; let’s go check it out!"
Ye Luo abruptly leapt forward towards the direction of the light, with Ao Long and Feng Ling naturally following him.
It wasn’t long before the three reached the glowing spot, but what they saw wasn’t anything special.
"What, it’s just a few broken stones emitting such light. Isn’t that a waste of expression?"
Ao Long said disdainfully.
Ye Luo gave a faint smile and said nothing, casually waving his hand to collect the seemingly ordinary stones.
"Who knows what these stones are? Let’s keep them for now; after all, the Qiankun Ring is empty!"
Ye Luo said indifferently. Both Ao Long and Feng Ling had no objections to this.
"Let’s go, keep moving forward!"
Ye Luo waved his hand, ready to press on, but at this mont, Feng Ling’s voice sounded.
"Wait, look here!"
Ye Luo and Ao Long turned back and ca to Ye Luo’s side.
"Isn’t this just a broken Stele? What’s so interesting about it? Besides, does anyone recognize the characters on it?"
In fact, no one did.
However, looking at those characters, Ye Luo found it strange, for he had a feeling that they resembled the font he used for writing Talisman Characters!
Of course, Talisman Characters weren’t considered words, but the characters on this Stele closely resembled those on the Talisman Symbols.
"I feel these characters are sowhat similar to the Talisman Characters I obtained!"
Ye Luo did not hesitate, expressing his thoughts directly.
To his surprise, it made Ao Long laugh heartily: "Kid, this ti it’s not mocking you for your lack of culture, but Talisman Characters are created based on so micro Spirit Arrays. They look like words, but aren’t actually words! You’ve shown your ignorance this ti!"
Ye Luo pouted slightly; of course, he knew that, but the characters on this Stele indeed piqued his curiosity.
Ye Luo approached the Stele, ticulously observing it for a long ti, yet found nothing special except for those unrecognizable characters, everything else was as ordinary as could be.
After so thought, Ye Luo decided to simply rember the characters now and study them later when there was an opportunity, for they didn’t have ti to waste at present!
However, as Ye Luo was about to note them down, sothing bizarre happened!
For, astonishingly, Ye Luo discovered he couldn’t rember these characters at all!
Ye Luo, with his incredible mory, shockingly couldn’t rember them!
Why was this?
Ye Luo was utterly puzzled, unwilling to accept this strange phenonon!
Yet, when he tried again ticulously, he indeed couldn’t rember, what’s going on?
This ti, Ye Luo was truly baffled!
"Senior, Feng Ling, co here for a mont!"
Ye Luo called out to the two who were nearby.
The two thought Ye Luo had found sothing and ca over.
"What’s up, kid, have you discovered sothing?"
Ye Luo didn’t answer but pointed at the Stele and said to the two, "Try it, see if you can rember these characters!"
Ao Long, puzzled, glanced at Ye Luo. Rember these characters? Shouldn’t be an issue, right?
He took a quick glance at the characters on the Stele, thinking a single look would imprint them in his mind.
However, as he turned to speak to Ye Luo, he froze, realizing he hadn’t rembered them!
Feng Ling had the sa issue; despite being exceptionally talented, all three could not recall such seemingly simple characters!
How could this be?
What was happening?
"Well, did you rember?"
Ye Luo, seeing the two silent, asked softly.
"Kid, don’t disturb !"
Ao Long replied without turning back, but Ye Luo already understood; Ao Long probably hadn’t rembered them either!
The situation was too bizarre; what exactly was going on?
Ye Luo didn’t disturb them, turning to attempt once more himself!
Failure, undisputed failure; none of them could even comprehend such a humble Stele!
"Damn! I know, I know what this is!"
Ao Long suddenly shouted, catching Ye Luo and Feng Ling’s attention.
"I heard in my clan that there are many kinds of fonts across ti. Due to racial differences, nurous fonts exist, but that’s not the point. The strangest are certain special Secret Techniques or naturally forming heavenly books! Of course, heavenly books are just a term, defined such due to nobody being able to interpret them!"
"It seems we might be encountering so form of a heavenly book this ti!"
Tian Shu?
Ye Luo wasn’t particularly interested in the term "heavenly book," for it wasn’t uncommon, but he understood Ao Long’s point; Ao Long used "heavenly book" rely as a placeholder.
"So, what do you an by this, senior?"
Ao Long explained extensively but never got to the main point, leaving Ye Luo to inquire further.
"Kid, to be honest, I don’t know what these characters really are, but they confuse us when we try to rember. Evidently, it’s a form of a heavenly book, probably infused with soul force or so other unique power, affecting our subconscious mory!"
Ye Luo nodded, having deduced as much himself.
"So, what then?"
Ye Luo queried again.
"Ah, I’ve explained so clearly, yet you still don’t get it? Never mind, just store this Stele in the Qiankun Ring; we’ll study it later. Let just say, any heavenly book holds profound secrets. If man-made, just imagine how powerful one must be to create it? And the contents docunted, would they be lacking?
