"I’ll give you one chance, who sent you?"

Ye Luo looked at these few n, his voice cold and commanding.

"Da da da!"

Ye Luo’s face turned stern as he quickly dodged to the side, the few attackers that he had subdued were all riddled with bullets and died on the spot.

The black sedan quickly disappeared into the night.

Ye Luo’s figure gradually erged, his eyes coldly fixed on the seven corpses on the ground.

Within ten minutes, several police cars arrived, and Yang Bingning walked over in casual clothes.

"Officer Yang, you haven’t gone ho to rest so late at night?"

Ye Luo leaned against a power pole, his face sporting a lazy smile as he looked at Yang Bingning.

"Hmph, it’s all because you called here, what’s going on? Spill it."

Yang Bingning’s gaze swept over the scene and she looked at Ye Luo with a deep frown.

"I really don’t know what happened. I was just about to go ho, and then these guys suddenly burst out, guns blazing, shooting like madn. Luckily, this handso guy is agile and lucky, or I would have been a goner under their guns. That would’ve been a great loss to this world, losing such a handso man who makes flowers bloom just by being around."

"Shut up!"

Listening to Ye Luo’s nonsense, Yang Bingning directly ordered, and imdiately Ye Luo obediently closed his mouth.

"So basically, you’ve antagonized another enemy, and they sent people to kill you, right?"

"That seems to be the case, just don’t let find out who it is, or brother will definitely show them why the flowers are so red."

Ye Luo said fiercely.

"Hmph, you sure have a lot of enemies. They’ve gone to such lengths to kill you, be careful or one day soone will just shoot you dead."

Yang Bingning glanced at Ye Luo and snorted coldly.

"Ah, Officer Yang, you have to protect , I’m so scared!"

Ye Luo shouted and suddenly rushed in front of Yang Bingning, grabbing her tightly in his arms.

"Jerk, what are you doing, let go of ."

Yang Bingning was stunned for a second, and when she saw Ye Luo’s head buried in her chest, her pretty face turned red and she roared angrily, trying to push Ye Luo away but failing completely to do so.

"Officer Yang, you’re the police, it’s your duty to protect the safety of us common folk. How about I sleep over at your place tonight? That way you can keep close protection on ."

Ye Luo lifted his head, looking at Yang Bingning with a face full of nervous fear, an expression and manner that could definitely land him an acting role.

"Get lost, let go of now, or I’ll take you to the police station and lock you up right now, that would be much safer."

Yang Bingning snorted coldly.

"Well, never mind then."

Ye Luo smacked his lips, reluctantly letting go of Yang Bingning. Although he took advantage of the situation to hug her, Yang Bingning, that stunning beauty, was actually a very cold and aloof person, bound to be like a volcano about to erupt, likely to turn the gun on him any second.

Noticing Ye Luo’s gaze, Yang Bingning could only glare back at him furiously.

"There’s no need to go to the police station; Officer Yang, would you please trouble yourself to take ho? My car was blown up by these guys."

In the end, Yang Bingning drove Ye Luo to the residential villa complex where he lived. There, she looked at Ye Luo and reminded him, "These people brazenly used firearms against you; they must be quite powerful. You should be careful these next few days."

"I understand, Officer Yang. You definitely have to find the real culprit behind this soon; otherwise, I’m in great danger."

Ye Luo gave Yang Bingning a pitiful look, and she simply rolled her eyes at him.

At the sa ti, in a villa in Zhonghai, a man dressed in black hurried into the villa.

On the luxurious villa sofa, a figure sat on the leather sofa, puffing on a cigar, while a woman clad in a red cheongsam with a high slit nestled seductively against the man.

And these two were none other than Li Guangyuan and Liu Ziyun.

"How did it go? Is he taken care of?" Li Guangyuan said, exhaling a thick cloud of smoke.

"I’m sorry, Young Master; the mission failed. That kid’s abilities are extraordinary; the seven sharpshooters I sent were all subdued by him," the man in black said gravely.

"What? You didn’t kill him!"

Li Guangyuan’s face darkened, and he threw his cigar on the ground, stomping on it furiously, his face cold as he scoffed, "Damn it, even this didn’t kill him."

The gunn from before had been sent by Li Guangyuan himself. That day, Ye Luo had punched him on the golf course and even issued him a threatening statent. This, naturally, the second young master of the prestigious Li Family could not tolerate, so he boldly dispatched a group of gunn to eliminate Ye Luo.

With the power of the Li Corporation, acquiring so firearms was no trouble at all; Li Guangyuan was never rciful to anyone who offended him. Yet, he had not expected the plan to fail.

"Did you leave any witnesses?" Li Guangyuan suddenly asked.

"Rest assured, Young Master. I’ve taken care of it all, and their identities are all very clean, untraceable by the police," said the man in black.

"Hmph, find an opportunity to keep an eye on him. I must have my revenge," Li Guangyuan said coldly.

"Master Li, don’t be so angry. Isn’t he just a piece of trash with a bit of skill? Sooner or later, he will be yours to deal with, Master Li. It’s only a matter of ti before you eliminate him. Why so angry?"

Looking into Liu Ziyun’s eyes, Li Guangyuan snorted, "To eliminate this trash, I’ve already lost quite a few capable subordinates! But you’re right; eliminating him is only a matter of ti; he’ll die sooner or later!"

Li Guangyuan’s gaze grew fierce. From a young age, those he wanted dead never lived! Whoever he wanted dead had to die; whoever he allowed to live, could live!

...

In Huaxia, at a secret location, lay an imposing ancient complex, grand and impressive—ho to the Hidden Sect’s Qingyun Sect.

At the heart of this complex stood a palace-like structure, with countless Luminous Pearls lighting up the entire hall.

If the secular world’s jewelry tycoons were to see this, they would be astonished, to say the least. Such opulence! So many Luminous Pearls, worth at least over a billion, rely used for lighting.

However, for those within the Hidden Sect, the purpose of Luminous Pearls was solely to provide light, since all powers in the Hidden Sect lived much like in ancient tis, completely void of electricity.

Within this palace, a number of figures in green robes gathered. In the very center stood a figure in a white robe, with a refined and dignified appearance, exuding an ethereal air of elegance.
