Jin Quan opened the notebook and his face changed dramatically; he quickly shut the notebook, his pupils dilated and his breathing beca rapid as he looked at Ye Luo.
"Everyone else get out now," Ye Luo ordered unceremoniously.
"Everyone out," Jin Quan commanded in a deep voice.
"Director, this..." The middle-aged police officer’s expression tightened with apprehension as he looked at Jin Quan.
"Get out," Jin Quan barked seriously, exuding a strong sense of authority.
"Also, take this guy out. If he runs away, you’ll bear the consequences," Ye Luo said coldly, pointing at Poisonous Scorpion.
"Seize him and take him out; he is not to leave," Jin Quan hastily said.
At this mont, the group of police officers was visibly confused, but still they took Poisonous Scorpion out, locking the interrogation room door behind them, leaving only Ye Luo and Jin Quan inside.
"At ease, Comrade Major," Jin Quan greeted Ye Luo with utmost respect, his heart pounding. He had never anticipated that the man who had provoked the Wu Family would have such a background.
The Security Bureau in Huaxia was akin to the ancient secret police, and its power was imnse, unimaginable; no governnt official dared to offend a person from this organization lightly. Not only was this man a mber of the Security Bureau, but he was also a Major—a rank much higher than ordinary mbers.
Even as a director, Jin Quan wouldn’t dare to offend such a person. Thinking of this, he was filled with worry, fearing that Ye Luo might beco angry, which would spell the end for him.
"I don’t want anyone other than you to know my identity," Ye Luo said coldly.
"Rest assured, I will not reveal a single word," Jin Quan assured quickly.
"I don’t want to make things difficult for you, but I hope you don’t interfere anymore between and the Wu Family, otherwise..." Ye Luo spoke, his eyes forming a cold glint as he stared at Jin Quan.
Jin Quan’s heart skipped a beat, and he promised hastily, "Please rest assured, Major, I definitely won’t interfere."
Jin Quan was naturally pleased with this outco. Before, he would have sided with the Wu Family, but now that he was aware of Ye Luo’s identity, he would not dare to trouble him.
Now that Ye Luo had made his position clear, Jin Quan felt much more relieved. However, he couldn’t help but worry for the Wu Family, which had provoked such an adversary. Even in Jinling, where the Wu Family called the shots, it would be difficult to stand against such an enemy.
Soon the door of the interrogation room opened, and the police officers looked at the door with concern, never lowering their guns. When they saw Ye Luo walking out, they looked shocked and were about to shoot when Jin Quan ca out as well.

Ye Luo’s chilling smile focused on Poisonous Scorpion as he led him toward the exit of the police station.
"Director, are we just letting this guy go like this? How are we going to explain to the Wu Family?" The middle-aged police officer watched Ye Luo leave the police station, his gaze turning to Jin Quan.
"From now on, no one is to get involved with the Wu Family’s affairs, or else you’ll have no one to bla but yourselves," Jin Quan said authoritatively.
Having left the police station, Ye Luo grabbed Poisonous Scorpion and said coldly, "I’ll give you a chance to live. Where is Yan Ling?"
"I don’t know," Poisonous Scorpion said bluntly.
Ye Luo punched Poisonous Scorpion, who spat out a mouthful of blood and knelt on the ground.
"You’re not planning to talk, are you?" Ye Luo’s voice was filled with murderous intent, his entire being enveloped in a terrible killing aura that turned Poisonous Scorpion’s face deathly pale, overwheld by the powerful murderous intent.
"I brought people to Jinling, and they were taken away by the Wu Family. All I know is that the Wu Family Head wanted to bury her alongside Wu Yingxiong as his companion in death," Poisonous Scorpion said with a cold voice.
"Buried—" Ye Luo’s voice was deep, like the wailing of souls emanating from hell, his face as cold as ice, as an intense murderous intent exploded from him.
"If Yan Ling is hard in the slightest, I’ll ensure the entire Wu Family is buried with them!"
His overbearing and arrogant words echoed in the pitch-black night, carrying with them a wild and rampant montum.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, the sound of sothing tearing through the air ca, Ye Luo’s body flashed, and an arrow whizzed past him with another series of black arrows shot from the dark at a speed so fast they hissed as they flew.
Ye Luo’s body moved incredibly quickly, disappearing from sight as a group of figures in black rushed out into the night, so holding ancient crossbows, firing continuously at Ye Luo, while others wielded steel blades, their bodies emanating a chilling killing intent.
Countless arrows covered Ye Luo as he dodged and weaved through them.
"Attack!"
A man in black watched Ye Luo with icy eyes. Imdiately, dozens of figures wielding steel blades charged towards Ye Luo.
"His strength has already entered the Innate Realm, stronger than I am. You people are simply courting death," Poisonous Scorpion stood up, saying with a pale face.
The man in black glanced at Poisonous Scorpion, his brows furrowing as he said, "If we can’t kill him, then we’ll just deplete so of his strength first. Once he steps into Jinling, there is no one who cannot be killed. The Family Head has ordered you to mobilize all your forces to besiege him."
Poisonous Scorpion’s brow wrinkled slightly, a strange look flashing in his eyes.
"I’ll vent my frustrations on you first!"
Ye Luo’s eyes flashed with a cold murderous intent as he focused on the group, his body bursting forward.
Bang!
With a punch, the leading man’s face caved in, and he flew backward, crashing heavily to the ground, coughing up blood continuously, his body quivering, obviously not going to live much longer.
What followed was entirely Ye Luo’s show, and although these people had all stepped into the Acquired Realm, they were like lambs to the slaughter in Ye Luo’s hands, all falling to the ground in less than a minute.
Furthermore, filled with rage and resentnt, Ye Luo showed no rcy in his attacks. Those people were either killed outright, or if they were lucky, would spend the rest of their lives bedridden.
A cold wind blew past, filling the air with a pungent sll of blood.
With corpses and wounded sprawled everywhere and the sound of agonized wails reverberating through the night, the scene was utterly macabre.
And at that mont, Poisonous Scorpion’s figure had disappeared from sight. Ye Luo’s gaze sharpened, and he quickly vanished from the spot as well.
After that, the entire underground forces of Jinling mobilized, all out to hunt down Ye Luo. These people seed utterly unafraid of death, one wave falling to Ye Luo’s blade only for another to appear, engaging in an unending war of attrition against him.
Ye Luo showed no rcy to these assailants, leaving them all either dead or severely injured. In one night, Jinling suffered at least two hundred casualties, Ye Luo’s entire body stained with blood.
