In the blink of an eye, five or six people fell, and the remaining few all hid themselves.
"This crossbow arrow is really quite good, feels very exhilarating."
Ye Luo held the crossbow arrow in his hand, sneering evilly. This was his first ti using such a weapon, but the feeling was, indeed, very satisfactory and thrilling.
"What’s going on?"
The Black Wolf, who had been resting in a room on the second floor, was also startled by the commotion and quickly left the room. Two n in black ca over to him.
"Boss, that guy who was chasing us ca in our car, and now he’s killed many of our brothers."
"Go and watch that woman imdiately," commanded the Black Wolf coldly, as he quickly made his way downstairs.
At that mont, Ye Luo activated his Clairvoyant Eye, locating all the hiding spots of the remaining few guys. Gathering all his strength, he charged out directly.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
As his body shot out, he released twin arrows, and the two n hiding behind pillars fell to the ground, each with an arrow thrust into their chests.
Another arrow sounded at that ti. The Black Wolf appeared on the first floor, aiming a crossbow arrow at Ye Luo and pulling the trigger relentlessly. Ye Luo pushed off the ground with his foot, quickly dodging to the side, though an arrow still grazed his shoulder, leaving behind a streak of blood.
"You’ve got so skills!" Ye Luo sneered coldly, a glint of cold light flashing in his eyes.
At that mont, the Black Wolf and the remaining three n in black on the first floor all held crossbow arrows aid at Ye Luo’s hiding spot, their expressions incredibly grave.
"You two, go over there."
The Black Wolf ordered the two n in black, their breathing beca rapid as they tightly gripped the crossbow arrows and moved towards Ye Luo’s hiding spot, while the Black Wolf kept his eyes fixed on that spot.
For a ti, the repair shop beca eerily silent, the atmosphere oppressively heavy, as if the air itself had solidified.
The two n in black advanced step by step toward Ye Luo’s location, as ti seed to slow to a crawl.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, a crossbow arrow flew out.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!
Four successive arrow sounds rang out, and the crossbow arrow was shattered to pieces.
Ye Luo’s body instantly hit the ground, his hand holding a crossbow arrow, repeatedly pulling the trigger.
The two n in black who had been approaching Ye Luo took arrows to their heads and fell, while the Black Wolf and the other person quickly went into hiding.
Ye Luo then walked out into the open, saying indifferently, "No need to hide. If you don’t want to die, co out."
The Black Wolf and the other man in black crouched behind the wall, breathing heavily and sweating profusely.
"What? You’re not coming out? Or do you want to keep company with the others?" Ye Luo’s lazy voice echoed.
At this mont, the Black Wolf’s face was so grave it was unimaginable, his palms sweating, and he cast a glance at the other man in black, making a hand gesture.
The man in black hesitated for a mont, gripping the crossbow arrow. Suddenly, he darted out, readying to pull the trigger at Ye Luo.
Whiz!
Whiz!
At the sa mont, two arrow sounds rang out. A blood flower blossod on the brow of the man in black, a sharp arrow piercing his forehead, his body rigidly falling to the ground. Another arrow, shot by Hei Yi, went straight for Ye Luo’s chest.
However, to Hei Yi’s surprise, when the arrow struck, Ye Luo was unhard. The sharp arrow failed to penetrate his chest, instead dropping to the ground.
In his mont of shock, Ye Luo didn’t hesitate to pull his trigger, penetrating Hei Yi’s wrist holding the crossbow arrow, which fell to the ground.
Then, two more whooshing sounds followed, arrows piercing Hei Yi’s legs, causing him to kneel on the ground. Cold sweat ford on his forehead, pain showed on his face, yet he did not cry out.
Imdiately afterward, Ye Luo made his way to the second floor, heading straight for Qin Yuru’s room.
Inside the room, two n in black were present. One was holding a knife to Qin Yuru’s throat, and the other was hiding by the door, holding their breath as they listened to the approaching footsteps.
The man with the crossbow arrow pointed it at the door, ready to shoot, but before the door could open, several arrows suddenly penetrated the wooden door, hitting him accurately and causing him to fall to the ground with an arrow embedded in his body.
Ye Luo kicked open the room door and walked in. Naturally, this was accomplished thanks to Ye Luo’s Clairvoyant Eye.
Seeing Ye Luo appear, surprise flickered in Qin Yuru’s eyes, a strange emotion welling up inside her.
"Don’t move!" The remaining man in black seized Qin Yuru by the neck, the knife pressed against her throat. His expression was frantic. Realizing that Ye Luo had arrived, he knew his companions and boss were done for, which made him panic.
"Drop the knife, and you can live," Ye Luo said calmly, his tone arrogant and commanding, as if his words were not to be defied.
"You..." The man’s eyes widened at Ye Luo. He was about to speak when he suddenly let out a scream. Qin Yuru had viciously stomped on his foot with the heel of her high-heel shoe, causing him to release her in pain.
Imdiately, Ye Luo lunged forward, grabbing Qin Yuru and kicking the man in the chest. The man slamd into the wall, coughed up blood, and slumped down limply.
"Gorgeous, are you alright?" Ye Luo asked with a roguish smile as he looked at Qin Yuru. Their long, narrow eyes t, sharing a special connection. She could only make muffled sounds.
"Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot." Ye Luo suddenly noticed the tape over her mouth and tore it off, also untying the rope that bound her hands.
"Thank you," Qin Yuru said, her voice cold and her face impassive.
"I’ve saved you twice now. It seems we are really fated. Don’t you think this ans we’re destined for each other, and I’m destined to be your knight in shining armor?" Ye Luo said teasingly.
Qin Yuru simply walked out of the room, leaving Ye Luo to purse his lips in disappointnt.
As they reached the ground floor of the repair shop and saw the corpses scattered around, Qin Yuru’s brows furrowed slightly, but she showed no fear. Her gaze shifted to Hei Yi, kneeling on the ground, and she walked over.
"Are you sent by Qin Tianming, or Qin Tianchen?" Qin Yuru asked directly, guessing the true culprits behind the scene had to do with her uncles.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," Hei Yi said, his face deathly pale.
Qin Yuru then searched him, took out a cellphone, and turned it on. Hei Yi’s face changed at once.
