"Follow ," Shi Yanran commanded Ye Luo soon after.
Twenty minutes later, Leng Ruobing led Ye Luo into an ordinary-looking office building in Capital City.
"What did you bring here for?" Ye Luo asked with a curious expression, looking at Leng Ruobing.
"You’ll know when we get there," Leng Ruobing said indifferently, arriving in front of a large door where two n in security uniforms stood.
Leng Ruobing presented her credentials to the two n, who then opened the door for them. Beyond it lay a long corridor, which they promptly entered.
At the end of the corridor was an elevator, but instead of buttons, there was only a handprint recess next to it. Leng Ruobing placed her hand in it, and imdiately with a ding, the elevator doors unexpectedly opened automatically.
"Co in," Leng Ruobing said, stepping inside, and Ye Luo quickly followed.
The elevator doors closed and it began descending.
"What is this place?" asked Ye Luo, filled with curiosity.
"Special Security Bureau Headquarters!" Leng Ruobing’s response took Ye Luo by surprise.
This was the Special Security Bureau Headquarters?
Although Ye Luo was a mber of the Special Security Bureau, he had never been to its headquarters and hadn’t expected it to be located here.
The elevator doors opened again quickly, revealing another corridor. Along the corridor’s walls and ceiling were nurous holes.
"What are those holes for?" Ye Luo asked, puzzled.
"Laser emitters. If any intruders break in, they would trigger so of the most advanced lasers in the world today. Even an Innate Peak Stage expert would have no way out but death," Leng Ruobing explained coldly.
"Damn, that’s aweso," Ye Luo exclaid in shock as he saw a massive tal door on the opposing side. Leng Ruobing pressed her eyeball against a round fra next to the tal door, and the door started to open slowly.
Ye Luo followed Leng Ruobing through the door only to find an enormous underground space made entirely of tal. Inside, there were figures everywhere—either sitting in ditation or sparring with each other. All of them were martial artists, although most were only in the Acquired Realm.
"Vice leader, you’re back."
As Leng Ruobing walked in, many looked up at her with faces full of respect.
