Qin Tianming’s complexion changed as well, and he covered his nose and mouth, looking at the man who directly threw out a gas mask. Qin Tianming hurriedly put it on, but the severely injured Lightning Monkey and Berserk Bear had already passed out from the chemical poison gas.
Soon, the chemical poison gas began to spread throughout the entire factory. Ye Luo held his breath and, despite this, his expression was sowhat dazed. He quickly took out Silver Needles and stabbed them into several acupuncture points on his body.
Just then, in a certain area of the factory, a figure burst out suddenly – a person wearing a mask and with steel claws on his hands.
It was the Blood Wolf Assassin, Cripple Wolf, who had previously appeared at the seaside. Unexpectedly, his figure appeared here at this ti, attacking Ye Luo.
As Ye Luo was about to make a move, the man in the black robe unleashed a powerful aura that pressed down, actually suppressing Ye Luo. To prevent the poison gas from invading his body, he spread his True Qi all over himself.
For a mont, he was unable to mobilize all his strength to resist the terrifying pressure of the assailant’s aura, and just then, Cripple Wolf’s long-awaited deadly strike was about to co crashing down on Ye Luo.
"No... don’t!"
At this mont, Ling Qingya, looking sowhat dazed and pale, weakly cried out. An instinct arose within her, and a voice sounded in her mind... Don’t hurt him... Don’t hurt him.
Supported by a strength from who knows where, Ling Qingya rushed over before Ye Luo could react and stood in front of him, taking the steel claws from Cripple Wolf directly into her body. Blood spurted out, Ling Qingya’s body trembled, and she spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Qingya!"
Ye Luo’s face changed, and he shouted in alarm, while Ling Huatao, lying on the ground in the distance and poisoned, also trembled upon seeing this scene.
Ah!
An angry roar sounded as Ye Luo released all his True Qi in an outburst, neutralizing the oppressive aura of the man in the black robe.
Turning around, he caught Ling Qingya in his arms and at the sa ti, his Soft Sword thrust out fiercely. Although Cripple Wolf dodged in ti, the sword still penetrated his lower abdon, making his body tremble, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Qingya! Qingya, how are you?"
Ye Luo held Ling Qingya tightly, hurriedly taking out a Silver Needle to pierce near her wound, stopping the blood.
However, the damage area from Cripple Wolf’s steel claws was very large, and even Ye Luo found it difficult to stop all the bleeding. Ling Qingya’s complexion had already turned extrely pale, and her breathing was very weak.
"Ye... Ye Luo!"
Ling Qingya looked at Ye Luo with a resigned expression in her eyes. She wanted to touch Ye Luo’s face, but her hand fell down halfway through the gesture, and her eyes closed as she completely passed out.
"Qingya, Qingya, you must not die! I absolutely won’t allow you to die." As Ye Luo spoke, he hurriedly poured his own Nine Yang True Qi into Ling Qingya’s body to sustain her vital signs.
While the man in the black robe began to slowly approach Ye Luo, releasing a faint intent to kill, Ye Luo seed not to notice at all, as he was desperately trying to stabilize Ling Qingya’s life force.
"Ye Luo!"
Just then, a group of people suddenly rushed into the factory from outside, led by Qin Yuru and Leng Ruobing, followed by a group of Special Security Bureau mbers.
Seeing this, the man in the black robe changed his complexion, his body swayed, and then he disappeared from sight. Can Lang also clutched his chest and disappeared quickly.
"Ye Luo, how are you?"
Qin Yuru and Leng Ruobing both rushed over. Looking at Ling Qingya’s condition, their faces changed.
Without speaking, Ye Luo scooped up Ling Qingya and darted outside. He got into a car, floored the gas, and the vehicle roared away, vanishing from the factory exterior in an instant.
"Ye Luo, what is he doing?"
Qin Yuru’s expression grew tense, puzzled.
"He must be going to save Ling Qingya," said Leng Ruobing in a deep voice, glancing around the factory. Her brow furrowed. "There’s poison gas here; everyone, hold your breath."
The group from the Special Security Bureau held their breath as instructed, while Qin Tianming strode over to Qin Yuru. "What are you implying by this?"
"Auntie, I’d like to ask you what you’re trying to do?" Qin Yuru retorted sharply.
"Ye Luo turned your cousin into a cripple. Shouldn’t we avenge this?" bellowed Qin Tianming, seething with resentnt.
"Ye Luo is one of our Special Security Bureau. If you kill him, you’ll be picking a fight with the Bureau, and not even Old Master Qin can save you then," Leng Ruobing said, gazing coldly at Qin Tianming.
anwhile, Ye Luo sped towards Sunset Mountain, simultaneously looking over at Ling Qingya in the passenger seat.
"Qing Ya, you must hang in there. You absolutely mustn’t give up," Ye Luo said with a grave expression.
Ling Qingya’s injuries were severe, and simple needlework could hardly promote a full recovery. But the abundant spiritual energy and the copious spiritual dicines of the Mysterious Valley in Sunset Mountain could save her life, and that’s where Ye Luo intended to take her.
Under Ye Luo’s breakneck speed, twenty minutes later, they arrived at Sunset Mountain. Ye Luo carried Ling Qingya in his arms.
He moved at his quickest pace toward the Mysterious Valley, and upon reaching the mountain face, he passed straight through the illusion barrier with Ling Qingya in his arms and entered the valley.
Then, Ye Luo laid Ling Qingya on the bed in a wooden cottage and began to treat her.
Ye Luo waved silver needles, puncturing thirty-six ridian points on Ling Qingya’s body, and then he bellowed, "Gather!"
The mighty spiritual energy of the valley was drawn crazily toward them, coalescing around Ling Qingya. The silver needles on her body trembled intensely as the spiritual energy flowed through them into her body, healing her injuries.
After several minutes, under Ye Luo’s treatnt, the large wound on Ling Qingya’s lower abdon began to heal rapidly. With the overwhelming spiritual energy, her body saw trendous improvent.
Ye Luo then picked a spiritual dicine that aided in healing from the valley and administered it to Ling Qingya. With the assistance of nature’s spiritual energy, the acupuncture, and spiritual dicine.
The once dying Ling Qingya finally recovered. The wound had vanished entirely, and her breath had stabilized.
Ye Luo let out a sigh of relief. Without the Mysterious Valley, even if he could have saved Ling Qingya, it would not have been as easy and certain, given the severity of her injuries.
