"Thank goodness for Xiao Jin," the Miaojiang girl sighed with relief in her heart, her eyes turning towards the door as she whispered, "Xiao Jin, it’s all up to you now."

Right after, the Miaojiang girl walked over and suddenly exclaid, "Ah, there’s a dead man."

At the Miaojiang girl’s shout, the several Blood Wolf assassins guarding outside rushed into the room, all bemused at the sight of the man lying dead on the floor.

"Go, Xiao Jin!"

At that mont, the Miaojiang girl suddenly commanded, waving her right hand, a streak of golden light dashed out of her sleeve, sliced across each of these n, and then returned to the Miaojiang girl’s hand.

But these Blood Wolf masters, each with the strength of the Innate Peak Stage, fell to the ground all at once, breathless, their deaths utterly baffling.

"Good job, Xiao Jin!" The girl showed a trace of a smile and ran out.

However, many more Blood Wolf masters were outside the house, and seeing the girl rush out so abruptly, they all charged towards her.

"Go!"

The Miaojiang girl waved her hands, and countless black Gu insects shot out, landing on these people. Following imdiately were screams, as the group collapsed on the ground, with the girl making her escape.

"Where do you think you’re running to?"

Suddenly, a cold shout rang out, accompanied by a gust of wind as the sound of the savage wolf tore through the air, reaching for the escaping Miaojiang girl.

The girl’s expression changed, and once more, she waved her right hand, the golden light shooting forth again. The savage wolf saw the golden glint approaching and his expression tightened. Suddenly, a knife appeared in his hand, which he swung forth.

With a clang, the golden light was repelled, and the savage wolf’s footsteps also halted.

"Go!"

Imdiately after, the girl waved her hands again and countless Gu insects surged towards the savage wolf once more. He swung the weapon in his hand repeatedly, killing off all the insects, but the trail of the Miaojiang Saintess had already vanished.

"Master!" At that mont, a few other Blood Wolf assassins at the Innate Peak Stage arrived at the scene.

"You few take so n and pursue her; you must bring that Miaojiang Saintess back," the savage wolf coldly snorted.

"Yes," the n nodded, leading a group of Blood Wolf assassins in pursuit.

The savage wolf entered the room that had been holding the Miaojiang Saintess, surveyed the corpses scattered across the floor, his eyes flickering with a sharp light, then his gaze fell upon the previously clothed man, now bare-chested, and his expression darkened.

"Drag these bodies out and chop them to pieces," the savage wolf ordered the other Blood Wolf assassins coldly.

In Dian Nan, outside the hotel where Ye Luo was staying, several golden cup vans appeared, their doors opening to reveal a group of bald n brandishing machetes.

Easily fifty or sixty strong, each with a ferocious look, the group was led by the bald man who had eyed Zi Yun with interest in the small shop earlier.

"Everyone, charge! Capture that brat and chop him into a pulp," the bald man commanded coldly, and the mob charged mightily into the hotel.

The hotel staff, terrified by the sight of the bald thugs, didn’t dare to speak up and quickly hid away.

After asking the front desk for Ye Luo and Zi Yun’s room number, the group of n rushed towards his room.

In the room, Ye Luo lay on the sofa when suddenly his eyes snapped open, and his Clairvoyant Eye scanned the area, his pupils narrowing with a fleeting glint of cold light.

Ye Luo stood up and walked out.

Just as Ye Luo had stepped out of the room, he saw a group of people with machetes rushing towards him in the hallway.

The bald man, fixing his gaze on Ye Luo, flashed a look of rage and hatred and shouted, "Go, chop him to pieces."

In an instant, the gang of bald n brandishing their machetes charged at Ye Luo with a ferocious look that could scare anyone to death.

However, at that mont, from the neighboring room ca Kuang Xiong and Nie Yuntian, both erging to see the scene before them, looking sowhat astonished.

"What’s going on?" Nie Yuntian asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Ran into so small-ti thugs. Kuang Xiong, take care of them. Don’t kill anyone, just cripple them all," Ye Luo said to Kuang Xiong indifferently.

Kuang Xiong’s face imdiately darkened, and a formidable aura surged through his body. With a swift motion, he smashed a punch out, instantly shattering the machete held by one of the bald n.

Then, without pause, another punch landed on the man’s chest, breaking several ribs instantly. The man was sent flying backward, knocking over a group of his comrades.

What followed was solely Kuang Xiong’s show. He transford into a War God, sweeping across the battlefield. The fifty or sixty machete-wielding bald n couldn’t even touch him as he knocked them all to the ground.

The less severely injured had broken hands and limbs, while the worse off had shattered breastbones and collapsed cheeks. Although none would die, they would have to be bedridden in the hospital for at least four or five months.

For Kuang Xiong, at the Semi-Saint Realm, dealing with such a crowd was an overkill, but the effect was undoubtedly shocking.

At that mont, the leading bald man turned deathly pale, shaking all over. Suddenly rembering sothing, he violently pulled out a gun from his clothes and pulled the trigger at Kuang Xiong.

Bang!

At the sound of gunfire, Ye Luo’s face turned cold. With a wave of his right hand, a streak of sword light flashed by, splitting the bullet into two halves. The bald man, terrified, dropped the gun from his trembling hands.

Ye Luo advanced toward the man, a terrible chill flashing in his eyes. The latter only felt an oppressive aura that made it hard to breathe, as if a devil had appeared before him, causing cold sweat to break out on his forehead.

"You... you..." The bald man couldn’t even finish a sentence, shivering uncontrollably.

Puff puff puff puff!

With a swing of his sword, blood spurted from the limbs of the bald man as Ye Luo disabled all four, eliciting a wail of agony.

anwhile, Kuang Xiong had laid all fifty or sixty bald n on the ground. The corridor was filled with people, their screams of pain reverberating and alarming the whole floor, frightening all the guests who peered out of their doors.

"What now?" Nie Yuntian asked, looking towards Ye Luo.

"Let’s find a new place to stay," Ye Luo said. He entered the room, woke up Zi Yun, and asked her to get dressed and pack up. The four of them then quickly left the place.

No more than five minutes after Ye Luo and his group had departed, the hotel was completely surrounded by the bald gang.

Leaving the hotel, and with it being very late, finding a new place to stay wasn’t easy.

As the four walked down a street, a shadow suddenly burst out from a nearby alley and collided with Ye Luo’s chest before falling to the ground.
