Ye Luo walked straight toward the secret chamber, but a wall stood in his way. With a step forward, he channeled his energy to his Dantian, clenched his fist, and unleashed a punch that exploded with terrifying might, blasting right through the wall.
A booming sound echoed as the wall shattered under Ye Luo’s punch, revealing the smaller chamber within.
Ye Luo entered, finding the chamber quite small and its contents simple—there were only three items: a pearl emitting a strong scent of blood, a green Fragnt, and an ancient book.
Ye Luo picked up the pearl first and imdiately felt a surge of dense, murderous aura rush from the pearl into his palm, more violent and fierce than the energy from the Blood Demon Pool. Ye Luo hastily exerted his cultivation to resist, trying to put the pearl down, but it was as if it had adhered to his hand, refusing to be released.
The next second, a flash of blood-red light streaked by, and the pearl disappeared from his hand, leaving Ye Luo stunned. He then felt sothing, and with a burst of inner sight granted by his Clairvoyant Eye, he found a blood-colored pearl floating within his Dantian.
It was the very pearl filled with rampaging energy that, to Ye Luo’s surprise, had sohow entered his Dantian. How did it get there?
Ye Luo tried a few tis but couldn’t control the pearl at all, nor could he absorb its energy—yet, it had made itself at ho in his Dantian.
This left Ye Luo quite helpless. To have acquired such a pearl but unable to use it, and now it had taken up residence in his Dantian, he couldn’t help but worry about potential harm to his body.
He then turned his attention to the remaining items, his gaze landing on the green Fragnt, prompting a look of astonishnt.
"Could this be..."
Ye Luo looked at the green Fragnt, thinking back to the similar one he’d obtained at the antique market. It was a near match, differing only in shape, as if they were parts of a whole that had fractured into several pieces.
Previously, he had sensed so energy hidden within the Fragnt from the market, which was why he had bought it. But since discovering nothing further, he hadn’t paid it much attention and had simply left it at ho.
Unexpectedly, he had co across another Fragnt now, and, like the previous one, it contained so special energy. Ye Luo didn’t know what it was, but he could feel that this Fragnt was no ordinary item.
Perhaps, once he gathered several pieces and made them whole, he would be able to unveil their true nature.
Pocketing the Fragnt, Ye Luo’s gaze shifted to the extrely ancient book inscribed with the words "Blood Demon Technique." It appeared to be a set of cultivation technique scriptures.
Upon opening the book, Ye Luo discovered that this set of cultivation techniques was impressively formidable, certainly not an ordinary set of scriptures—though mastering this technique would require great willpower and control.
Practicing this technique would generate a potent malevolent energy, and without strong resolve and control, one could be overwheld by the malevolence, leading to madness and a transformation into an irrational murderer.
"Perhaps, Xue Tu could practice it," Ye Luo pondered before imdiately considering a candidate—Xue Tu, who was inherently inclined towards slaughter and already shrouded in malevolent energy.
However, Xue Tu had maintained his sanity up to now, which clearly evidenced his strength in both control and willpower. If he could practice this Blood Demon Technique, it might be a significant boost to his strength.
Having pocketed the Blood Demon Technique scripture, Ye Luo then left the chamber, turning to the burly bear and said, "Let’s go. It’s ti to return; who knows how long it has been."
After Ye Luo and the Berserker Bear left the Blood Demon Cave, they discovered that the valley outside the cave had been utterly destroyed, leaving it in complete disarray; the entire valley no longer existed.
"Young Master, it seems a great battle took place here," the Berserker Bear said gravely.
"Mm-hmm," Ye Luo nodded. He could naturally tell that the entire valley had been destroyed in such a way that it must have experienced a major battle, and certainly not one that ordinary powerhouses could cause.
Even with his strength, it would be difficult to reduce the whole valley to this state; perhaps only a battle between those in the Saint Realm could have done it. He just didn’t know who could have been involved in such a terrifying battle here after he entered the Blood Demon Pool.
"Could it be that group of people?" Ye Luo thought of the Blood Wolf Organization, which had always coveted the Blood Demon Pool.
"I hope the Miao Tribe isn’t in trouble," Ye Luo suddenly felt a twinge of worry, and imdiately left with the Berserker Bear, heading toward Miao Village.
After the two of them left, six won wearing different colored dresses appeared there, but Ye Luo and the Berserker Bear did not notice their presence.
"It looks like he got quite a haul this ti," said one of the won in blue.
"The Blood Demon Pool, ford from the essence-blood of the Blood Demon Ancestor, is a treasure of treasures. How could he not gain from it? It’s just that his strength hasn’t increased much because he needed to open up his Nine Yang ridians. Otherwise, he might have already reached the Saint Realm by now," the woman in the red dress said indifferently, her eyes gleaming with a sharp light.
"The one with him has improved quite rapidly though, and I sense sothing very unusual about his constitution, sothing that even makes feel a hint of danger," the woman in the yellow dress remarked.
"Let’s hope he can help the Saintess. Only then will there be hope for Purple Cloud Palace to see the light of day again."
After leaving those words behind, the six won vanished from the spot.
Ye Luo and the Berserker Bear rushed to Miao Village. Upon returning, Ye Luo used his Clairvoyant Eye to scan the area and found that the village was very peaceful and nothing had happened.
Moreover, the sisters Nie Wenyu and Nie Wenling, along with Nie Yuntian and Zi Yun, were all there, which greatly relieved Ye Luo. He walked straight in.
As soon as Ye Luo appeared in Miao Village, all the people of the Miao Tribe turned their eyes toward him. Miao Chang’an and the others soon showed up as well.
"Ye Luo, you’ve finally co back," Miao Xiaoling ran over to Ye Luo, her face lighting up with joy as she spoke, revealing that their relationship had developed quite a bit over the past few days.
"Big Brother!"
At that mont, Zi Yun and the others also received the news and ran out. Zi Yun was the first to reach Ye Luo and affectionately hugged him. Nie Wenyu and Nie Wenling, the sisters, looked at Ye Luo with looks of excitent and joy.
"You scamp, you’re finally back. You had worried you wouldn’t make it," Nie Yuntian said to Ye Luo with a laugh.
