"What’s the matter?"
The bald man, also known as the brother of the bald gang leader, Zhi Gang, was staring intently at the two people in front of him.
"Brother Zhi Gang, this man says he has sothing important to discuss with you," the monk hurriedly pointed at the man beside him and spoke.
"You were looking for ?" Zhi Gang’s gaze fixed on the man, evoking a palpable sense of trepidation in the latter, who tensed up.
"This is what our boss asked to give you." The man imdiately took out the Jade Pendant and handed it to Zhi Gang.
When Zhi Gang looked at the Jade Pendant, his complexion instantly changed.
"This is my brother’s Jade Pendant. What’s happened to him?" Zhi Gang shouted in a deep voice, his voice booming with powerful strength like thunder, causing the man’s eardrums to buzz and giving him a sensation as if his blood qi was boiling.
"The boss... he’s... dead!" said the man, his expression filled with sorrow.
"What? My brother is dead!"
Zhi Gang’s voice thundered again, an overwhelming aura erupting from him, imdiately sending the monk and the man flying backwards, both landing on the ground, spitting blood from their mouths.
"Speak, who killed my brother!"
Zhi Gang’s eyes glittered with a crimson light, his body emanated a sky-high murderous intent, and his gaze was fiercely fixed on the man, making him break out in cold sweat.
"I... I didn’t recognize him. It was a young man who severely wounded the boss with just one move. Then the boss told to take this Jade Pendant to you, and to ask you to avenge him. After that, he died," the man said, his face pale and voice trembling.
"No matter who it is, if they’ve killed my brother, I will make them pay with their own blood!"
Zhi Gang’s voice was icy cold, brimming with endless murderous intent. A terrifying presence spread, and both n lying on the ground felt an oppressing weight upon them, as though they were about to die, much like the heaviness of Mount Tai.

In the pond behind Zhi Gang, there was a sudden explosion of water, with splashes shooting out in all directions, clearly affected by Zhi Gang’s powerful montum.

Just then, a group of old monks in robes rushed into the valley, led by a monk robed in red, radiating a halo of sanctity, his face lined with wrinkles denoting age but with a posture that was exceedingly agile. He appeared in a flash like lightning—it was the abbot of Shaolin Temple, Shi Xin.
Accompanying Shi Xin were several old monks, each with an imnsely powerful presence that at first glance felt unfathomable, all senior monks from the Inner Temple of Shaolin.
Shaolin Temple was divided into the Inner Temple and the Outer Temple. The Outer Temple was an ordinary monastery where tourists visited to burn incense and worship Buddha, while the Inner Temple was the most powerful congregating force of Shaolin.
It was also the backbone that allowed Shaolin to be a strong power within the Hidden Sect, and Zhi Gang was not only a core disciple of the Inner Temple but also a direct disciple of Shi Xin.
Seeing Zhi Gang’s expression at this mont, Shi Xin frowned, waved his hand, and an intangible Strength spread out, directly suppressing the formidable aura emanating from Zhi Gang.
The two n on the ground gasped for air, their faces as pale as Ru Xue. Had Shi Xin and the others not arrived in ti, they might have been utterly crushed to death by the force emanating from Zhi Gang.
"Zhi Gang!" Shi Xin looked at Zhi Gang and bellowed sharply, his voice carrying a profound strength, like the drum at dusk and the bell at dawn, snapping Zhi Gang out of his fury instantly, as he kneeled on the ground before Shi Xin.
"Master!" Zhi Gang bowed and called out as he looked at Shi Xin.
"What has happened?" Shi Xin asked in a grave voice.
They had felt Zhi Gang emanating a powerful aura while he was cultivating just now, and thinking that sothing was wrong, they had all hurried over.
"Master, I must leave the mountain!" Zhi Gang spoke up with an icy expression on his face.
"What? Leave the mountain? Why?" Shi Xin’s expression changed imdiately.
"Because my brother was murdered, and I must avenge him," Zhi Gang’s eyes flashed with a fierce intent to kill.
Shi Xin and the other senior monks’ gazes flickered briefly, and they said, "Zhi Gang, you are a monk, and the last thing a monk should harbour is the intent to kill. Have you forgotten the words I spoke to you when you first joined us?"
"Disciple hasn’t forgotten, but my brother and I were orphaned at a young age. It was my brother who tirelessly raised until I was a teenager, and then he expended great effort to get into Shaolin Temple to learn martial arts. Yet, I have not repaid him at all. Now that my only kin has died, I must seek vengeance for him; otherwise, I will have no face to et my brother in the world below. Master, please forgive !"
Zhi Gang spoke each word with determination, his eyes flashing with unwavering resolve, clearly having made up his mind.
"Zhi Gang, your talent in martial arts is extraordinary, do not let hatred blind your heart and destroy all your martial cultivation," an elder monk implored, looking at Zhi Gang.
"To avenge him, I am willing to sacrifice everything!" Zhi Gang declared resolutely.
At that mont, the senior monks all sighed, and Shi Xin’s eyes shimred. Finally, he said, "Zhi Gang, do you realize that by leaving, you will be utterly defying the rules of Shaolin Temple, and there will be no turning back?"
Zhi Gang knelt on the ground and gave Shi Xin three deep bows, saying, "Master, your teachings are sothing I can never repay. To avoid bringing sha upon Shaolin Temple, I, Zhi Gang, from this day forward, officially renounce my ordained status and cut all ties with Shaolin Temple."
"You... alas..." Shi Xin wanted to say more, but he ended up sighing deeply and said nothing more.
Imdiately afterward, Zhi Gang approached the man, hoisted him up, and swiftly disappeared into the valley.
"Abbot, by letting Zhi Gang leave like this, I fear with his temperant and strength, he may cause a great deal of bloodshed in the secular world," another senior monk said with a deeply furrowed brow.
"When Zhi Gang first beca my disciple, I could sense the rage and murderous intent hidden within him. My initial hope was to have him comprehend the Buddhist teachings and eliminate those violent thoughts. I never anticipated that such an incident would happen, rendering all efforts in vain."
Shi Xin spoke sowhat helplessly before continuing, "Send soone to follow him. If he truly becos a threat to the secular world, make sure to bring him back."
"Understood, Abbot," the senior monks all nodded in agreent.
"By the way, Abbot, now that Zhi Gang has left, we’ll be one person short for the Qing List competition. Who should we send to replace him?" another elder monk asked.
"Let’s discuss that later," Shi Xin replied, his gaze flickering as he shook his head and left the place.
anwhile, Zhi Gang had already descended the mountain with the man in tow, and under Zhi Gang’s frightening speed, they left Mount Song in less than a minute.
