Over a dozen minutes later, the Lincoln stretch limousine arrived outside the Platinum Royal Palace of Y Country’s Royal Family. The combination of white and gold lent the palace an air of beauty, and its grandeur and expanse were in no way inferior to the Imperial Palace of the Island Country.
At the main entrance of the Royal Palace, a long red carpet stretched out to the door of the Lincoln stretch, flanked by rows of orderly palace guards.
Dressed uniformly, with European-style knights’ longswords at their waists, each one looked imposing and full of presence, and all were strong masters in their own right.
Butler Leon was the first to alight from the car and opened the door for Ye Luo, who stepped out, followed by Xue Na.
"Princess, Her Majesty the Queen is waiting in the main hall," Butler Leon announced.
At this mont, a middle-aged man garbed in a white suit of armor, with a sturdy build and a determined face, approached Xue Na. He bowed respectfully and then spoke with reverence. This man was Duo Lun, the leader of the Royal Guard responsible for the security of the Royal Family.
Seeing this man, Ye Luo’s heart skipped a beat. Under the scrutiny of his Clairvoyant Eye, this man displayed the strength of the sixth level of the Saint Realm, befitting the leader of the Royal Guard with such formidable power.
Ye Luo quickly scanned the vicinity with his Clairvoyant Eye and found that indeed, the palace was filled with many skilled masters, a large portion of them possessing the strength of the Innate Realm.
Among them, he sensed several powerful auras. With a sweep of his Clairvoyant Eye, he could tell they all possessed the strength beyond the Saint Realm, signifying that the Royal Family indeed had considerable power.
"All right," Xue Na nodded and was about to lead Ye Luo inside when Duo Lun’s gaze turned towards Ye Luo and he said in a deep voice, "Princess, may I inquire who this is?"
"Oh, this is a friend of mine. He saved earlier, and I am now taking him to et my mother," Xue Na replied.
Duo Lun nodded and took a long, penetrating look at Ye Luo.
Just a few minutes after walking into the Royal Palace with Duo Lun, a procession approached them from a distance.
The person at the head was a woman of elegant nobility, exuding a mature charm and aristocratic temperant. She appeared to be in her thirties, with every smile and glance radiating allure. Several maids accompanied her, indicating her extraordinary status.
"Lady Liya!" Butler Leon and Duo Lun both bowed and greeted the woman.
"Aunt Liya!" Xue Na greeted the woman with a smile.
The woman regarded Xue Na with affection, "Xue Na, I heard your cruise ship was attacked. Are you hurt?"
"Aunt Liya, don’t worry, I’m fine," Xue Na replied warmly.
"Oh, that’s good to hear," the woman nodded, then turned her gaze to Ye Luo, "And who might this be?"
"Oh, Aunt Liya, this is Ye Luo, a friend of mine. He’s the one who defeated the attackers and saved ," Xue Na explained.
Upon hearing Xue Na’s words, the woman nad Liya’s eyes shifted towards Ye Luo, revealing a fleeting coldness that Ye Luo, with his acute perception, imdiately detected and grew cautious of.
"All right, you should go see your sister first," Liya said, and Ye Luo and company headed further into the Royal Palace.
Arriving at the heart of the Royal Palace, a huge white palace filled with European style ca into view, surrounded by the Royal Guard’s elite forces, all of whom were powerful warriors of the Innate Late Stage or above.
Walking into the palace, Ye Luo imdiately noticed the forty-sothing-year-old woman sitting on a platinum throne, her hair tinged with grey, dressed in queenly attire with white lace gloves on her hands, exuding imperial nobility and carrying an air of authority – clearly, she was Queen Eli of Y Country’s Imperial Family.
"Mother!"
Seeing the queen, Xue Na revealed a childlike deanor as she rushed over and nestled in Queen Eli’s embrace. At this mont, Xue Na seed to revert to a little girl returning ho, seeking the warmth of her mother, while Queen Eli also displayed a tender and indulgent motherly expression.
"Xue Na, you had worried to death. I wish I had never let you go out to sea to celebrate your birthday. Then none of this would have happened," Queen Eli said with undeniable concern.
"Mother, I’m alright, you don’t need to worry about ," Xue Na said directly.
"You are the future heiress to our throne. If anything were to happen to you, it would be catastrophic," Queen Eli said solemnly.
"I understand, Mother. I’ll be more careful in the future," Xue Na replied with a mischievous smile, playfully sticking out her tongue.
Imdiately after, Queen Eli’s gaze shifted towards Ye Luo. Even though he was not a martial artist, his eyes still possessed a daunting power.
"Mother, let introduce you. This is Ye Luo. He was traveling at sea and encountered a storm, fell into the ocean, and I rescued him. When we were attacked earlier, it was he who drove those villains away," Xue Na introduced Ye Luo.
"Greetings, Your Majesty," Ye Luo said, bowing slightly to Queen Eli.
"Since you are the savior of my Xue Na, you need not be so formal. We owe you a great debt for this ti, for if sothing had happened to Xue Na and the other young nobles of Y Country, it would have shaken our entire nation. You have indeed done our country a great service," Queen Eli stated calmly.
"Your praise is too generous, Your Majesty. It was only my duty. Without the Princess’s life-saving intervention, I presu I would have perished and beco a lost soul at sea by now," Ye Luo replied.
"Mother, Brother Ye has lost everything because he fell into the sea. Could you arrange for him to return to Huaxia?" Xue Na spoke up on his behalf.
"Not a problem. I will take care of it, and I will also inform the Huaxia governnt about Mr. Ye’s heroic deeds," Queen Eli said with a charitable smile.
"Also, Mother, I want to take Brother Ye around Y Country for a couple of days. Let him stay in the Royal Palace for these two days," Xue Na suggested once more.
"That’s fine, you can arrange everything," Queen Eli replied with a smile.
After that, Ye Luo followed Xue Na to a luxurious room within the Royal Palace. She turned to him and said, "Brother Ye, you can stay here. I’ve brought you a phone so you can contact your family and keep them from worrying."
"Thank you, Princess," Ye Luo said with a nod, taking the phone and imdiately calling Luo Jingxuan.
"Hello? Who is this?" Luo Jingxuan’s calm voice ca from the other end of the phone.
"It’s Ye Luo!"
"Ye Luo, is it really you? How are you doing? Why has your phone been unreachable?"
