Ripples of True Qi energy spread out dozens of ters, completely vacuuming this area; the air had been entirely evaporated.
When the light dissipated, it beca clear that the Wild Bear’s fist had shattered Zhi Gang’s Vajra Palm Seal. His punch landed squarely on Zhi Gang’s chest, sending him flying on the spot. The whole person flew more than ten ters, falling to the ground and spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood.
Seeing this scene, the man in the distance and the two monks hundreds of ters away all sucked in a breath of cold air. Zhi Gang had actually been defeated; even after activating his ultimate move, he had still lost.
"What kind of power burst forth from that guy just now? It was terrifying!"
"That’s right, even I felt a trace of terror!"
The two monks watched the Wild Bear intently, their faces showing a hint of solemnity.
Spurt!
However, at this mont, the Wild Bear also spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his entire body half-kneeling on the ground.
"Wild Bear!"
Upon seeing this, Ye Luo’s expression changed as he quickly called out and rushed over to support the Wild Bear, his expression one of shock after seeing the dense patterns on the Wild Bear’s neck and face.
"Wild Bear, you..." Just as Ye Luo was about to say sothing, the patterns on his face and neck disappeared completely, vanishing as if they had never appeared, while the Wild Bear’s complexion turned pale, his breath extrely weak.
"Young Master, I won!"
The Wild Bear said to Ye Luo.
"Yes, you did win," Ye Luo nodded, his gaze shifting toward Zhi Gang in the distance, who was struggling to get up, but with great difficulty.
The Wild Bear’s punch had inflicted the most serious injury Zhi Gang had ever suffered in his cultivation. However, Zhi Gang’s eyes, still fixed on Ye Luo, were filled with intense killing intent and had not changed despite his severe injuries.
"You have already lost. Do you still wish to kill ?" Ye Luo’s gaze turned to the Wild Bear.
"I was defeated by him, not by you. I will certainly kill you," Zhi Gang said weakly.
"If I kill you now, will you still have a chance to kill ?" Ye Luo said, then frowned and glanced over, only to see two monks in robes approaching rapidly. In an instant, they appeared before Zhi Gang.
"Brother!" Zhi Gang called out to the two monks.
"Alas!" Both monks sighed softly as they looked at Zhi Gang, their eyes then turning toward Ye Luo.
"Benefactor, Zhi Gang has been grievously injured; please spare him," one monk entreated.
"When he wanted to kill , why didn’t you step forward to stop him? As monks, aren’t you supposed to refrain from harboring the intent to kill?" Ye Luo said coldly to the two monks.
"Benefactor, Zhi Gang has long since left the Buddhist Sect. It’s difficult for us to stop him from seeking vengeance for his brother," one of the monks replied.
"Then why do you appear now?"
Another monk spoke up, "Regardless, Zhi Gang calls us his senior brothers, and we must intervene. We will now take Zhi Gang back with us, and we ask for your understanding."
Ye Luo glanced coldly at Zhi Gang and said, "I, Ye Luo, am not the kind to take advantage of others in their ti of need. He tried to kill today, he is my enemy, and I certainly won’t let him off. The next ti we et, I will surely kill him honorably."
The two monks exchanged looks, their eyes flickering, and they quickly lifted Zhi Gang and strode off into the distance, disappearing from the scene in an instant.
The man who had been watching Zhi Gang being taken away also changed his expression and hurriedly flew away from there, while Yang Bingning ran over to Ye Luo.
"Ye Luo, are you alright?" Yang Bingning said with a face full of concern.
"I’m fine," Ye Luo shook his head, "I must go now."
Ye Luo supported Kuang Xiong and left the place, and as he walked away, Yang Bingning’s eyes flashed with a complex expression.
After leaving with Kuang Xiong, Ye Luo began examining his body. There were no serious issues, but he was extrely weak and powerless, as if he had activated so secret technique and was now in a period of weakness.
"Kuang Xiong, what was that pattern on your face earlier? And where did that burst of strength you displayed co from?" Ye Luo asked, looking at Kuang Xiong.
"Young Master, I don’t know either. I just felt that when I was angry, a very powerful force would erge within my body. As for what kind of strength it is, I’m not sure myself," Kuang Xiong shook his head.
Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed slightly, and a sharp glint flashed through his mind, as he couldn’t help asking, "Xiao Ba, do you know what is going on?"
"I’m not sure either, but this must be related to his physique. He likely has a special physique that can generate a very strong force at critical monts. The patterns on his face must be a manifestation of his physique being stimulated," Xiao Ba replied, and Ye Luo agreed, having felt early on that Kuang Xiong’s physique was out of the ordinary. He realized now it wasn’t just unusual but incredibly powerful.
After all, it had allowed Kuang Xiong, with the strength of the third level of the Saint Realm, to defeat Zhi Gang, whose strength had already surpassed the fifth level of the Saint Realm. This was proof enough of its terrifying nature, despite the fact that there was a period of weakness after the power was activated.
anwhile, in the Wu Family of Jinling, a group of people arrived, making Family Head Wu Jianxiong show an extrely respectful deanor.
These people, each dressed in white robes and carrying longswords, with the attire resembling that of ancient people, all exuded very powerful auras. The few leading them possessed the aura of the Saint Realm, evidently being Saint Realm experts, and Wu Yingtian was among these people.
"Father, let introduce you. These gentlen are all disciples of the Heavenly Sword Pavilion. These two are disciples of the Pavilion Master of the Heavenly Sword Pavilion, they are Brother Du and Brother Hua," Wu Yingtian said, pointing to two young n who looked to be in their twenties.
Both of them carried an air of extraordinary bearing and pride, and both were at the first level of the Saint Realm. The fact that they had stepped into the Saint Realm at such a young age was a testant to their exceptional talent.
"So, they are the disciples of the Pavilion Master of the Heavenly Sword Pavilion. I, Wu Jianxiong, have the honor of eting the two young masters," Wu Jianxiong said very politely, lacking the commanding presence of the head of the Wu Family.
The two nodded at Wu Jianxiong, and one of them, Brother Du, spoke, "Family Head Wu, greetings. This trip to Jinling has been a trouble for you."
"Brother Du is too kind," Wu Jianxiong said with a smile beaming across his face.
"Yingtian, do you know why they have co this ti?" Wu Jianxiong’s gaze turned to Wu Yingtian.
"Father, we have co for an auction that is about to take place in Capital City. There is an item of great importance to be auctioned there, and we have been commanded by the Pavilion Master to obtain it," Wu Yingtian explained.
