"You’re looking for the president?" Zhou Siqi’s eyes flashed with curiosity as she looked at Ye Luo.
"Hmm."
Ye Luo nodded, following which Zhou Siqi led him towards an office inside.
Outside the office was a sign that read President’s Office, clearly indicating that this was Ling Qingya’s workplace.
However, before Zhou Siqi could knock on the door, Ye Luo twisted the handle and walked right in, causing Zhou Siqi’s face to change.
"Wife!"
As Ye Luo walked in, he called out directly, making Zhou Siqi swallow back the words she was about to say, her face full of shock.
The office was decorated in an elegant and generous manner, with a touch of simplicity, giving it a comfortable feel. Ling Qingya was sitting behind the imnse desk, her expression solemn.
Seeing Ye Luo co in, her face darkened, and she glanced at Zhou Siqi, "Siqi, you can leave us."
"Yes, President."
Zhou Siqi’s face went through several changes, and she nodded, casting a glance at Ye Luo before turning to walk out and closing the door behind her.
"Ye Luo, I’m warning you again, if you call wife inside the company again, no matter what Grandpa says, I’ll have you leave the company imdiately."
Ling Qingya’s face was cold, with a powerful aura of a strong woman, she firmly stated, her gaze fixed on him.
"This... well, then I’ll just call you Qing Ya or Ling Qingya then," Ye Luo replied.
"You can only call President. Even though you are nominally my fiancé, here at Ling Corporation you’re an employee, and you should address as President like everyone else does, or else you can just leave," Ling Qingya said coolly, her face showing a hint of frost.
"Alright, President, what job are you assigning to ? Grandpa said any deputy head position would do. I’m not asking for much, just make a vice president, that would match well with you."
Ye Luo looked at Ling Qingya and pursed his lips as he spoke.
"I’ve already arranged the position. You can start right away."
"What position?" Ye Luo asked, full of curiosity.
"Vice Chief of the Security Departnt at Ling Corporation."
"What? Being a security guard!"
Instantly, Ye Luo was stunned; the position he was given turned out to be that of a security guard.
"Vice Chief of the Security Departnt," Ling Qingya reiterated firmly.
"But that’s still a security guard, and even then, a deputy one."
Ye Luo wore a look of disbelief, yet faced Ling Qingya with a radiant smile, saying, "But... President, look at how handso and capable I am. Being a security guard seems a bit wasteful of my talents, maybe..."
"Right now, the only positions available at Ling Corporation are Vice Chief of the Security Departnt and janitor. Which one would you choose?" Ling Qingya asked with an icy gaze.
"That... let’s go with Vice Chief of the Security Departnt," Ye Luo finally chose, realizing it was at least better than being a janitor. After all, it was still an official position.
At that mont, Ling Qingya pressed a button on the phone on her desk and said, "Siqi, co in, please."
Soon the office door opened, and Zhou Siqi walked in, addressing Ling Qingya, "President, did you need ?"
"This is Ye Luo, the newly-appointed Vice Chief of the Security Departnt. Take him to report to the Security Departnt," Ling Qingya instructed directly.
"Vice Chief?"
Zhou Siqi’s eyes flashed with a trace of astonishnt as she looked at Ye Luo. Wasn’t he the president’s husband? How did he beco a part of the security departnt?
"Okay, President."
But Zhou Siqi didn’t think too much of it, nodded, and watched Ye Luo walk out.
"Goodbye, Madam President."
Ye Luo waved at Ling Qingya and then walked out.
Watching Ye Luo leave, Ling Qingya’s bright, starry eyes gazed at a docunt in her hand, flickering with complex emotions, her mind filled with countless thoughts.
And this docunt was the project proposal for cooperation between Ling Corporation and Mingzhu Group.
After leaving the office, Zhou Siqi looked at Ye Luo with a curious expression and asked, "What’s really going on between you and the president? Are you truly the president’s husband?"
"Of course, genuine as can be," Ye Luo quickly nodded in confirmation.
"Then why would the president have you go to the security departnt?"
"It’s quite simple. In this company, she’s in charge of the highest matters, so naturally, I should take care of the lowest ones. Plus, it stops people from saying I’m living off a woman, doesn’t it?" Ye Luo explained in all seriousness.
"Oh."
Zhou Siqi’s pure heart was easily deceived by Ye Luo, but as soon as she rembered the intimate incident with the president’s husband in the elevator just a mont ago, she felt a wave of bashfulness wash over her.
Following Zhou Siqi to the ground floor of the group, they arrived at the security departnt.
The security departnt of Ling Corporation was responsible for the entire group’s security, staffed by more than thirty people, all under the charge of the head of the departnt, Hou Dayong.
At that mont, Hou Dayong was leisurely reading a magazine in his office, his eyes fixating on the sexy models filling the pages, his throat continually moving.

Hou Dayong looked surprised. The position of vice chief of the security departnt had been vacant for a long ti; the whole departnt was under his sole control. How could there suddenly be a new vice chief?
"Vice Chief Ye, this is Chief Hou of the security departnt."
Zhou Siqi introduced Ye Luo, who was standing beside her, while Hou Dayong’s gaze swept toward Ye Luo. Seeing the quiet, thin figure, he was filled with perplexity, wondering why such a person had been appointed as vice chief of the security departnt, but since it was a directive from the president, he dared not oppose it.
"Vice Chief Ye, hello, my na is Hou Dayong."
"Chief Hou, you can just call Ye Luo. I look forward to your guidance in the future," said Ye Luo, his mouth curving into a faint smile.
"Alright, alright," Hou Dayong nodded, his eyes shimring with a trace of peculiarity.
"If that’s the case, I’ll take my leave first," Zhou Siqi glanced at Ye Luo and then walked out of the office.
"Boss! Huge news!"
At that mont, a figure rushed into the office from outside, skinny, wearing a security uniform that seed rather comical.
"What’s the matter, making such a fuss over nothing?"
Hou Dayong looked at him with a cold rebuke.
