[Third Person's PoV]
Lucian looked at his mother in confusion "What are you doing?"
dea just turned to him and went and showed him the scroll and as he looked at it he thought about what it says 'Legacy? Like in the Percy Jackson Universe, that Legacy?
My mother is dea, who is a Greek Hero, My Father is most probably a Greek God, Most stories my mother has told are from Greek, and now I have a supposed Legacy, my scent apparently attracts monsters that my mother had to set up a ward.
I'm either in a Universe very similar to the Percy Jackson books, or I'm in the Percy Jackson's books themselves.'
"What's a Legacy?" Lucian asked, wanting to make sure if what he knows is right or wrong in this universe.
dea smiled as she answered "A legacy is a mortal who is a second or further generation descendant of a deity, naly the children, grandchild, or descendant of a demi-god. They may or may not possess similar abilities to their godly ancestors.
As I'm the granddaughter of Helios, I possess a Legacy from his abilities, sothing that you have as well."
'It's the sa alright' Lucian thought as he nodded at his mothers explaining. Lucian then put on a pondering expression, he was debating whether it was the right ti to ask this or not.
"It seems you want to ask sothing sweetie, what is it? You don't have to be scared to ask anything"
Lucian nodded once again as he thought 'Ah to hell with it'. Lucian's expression then got serious… well as serious as a 1 year old baby's face can get and asked "I want to know who my father"
dea's expression then turned awkward, which then shifted to nervousness "I guess this is as good of a ti as any to tell you… Well you see your father… Your father is the God of the Underworld Hades"
Lucian's eyes along with his mouth opened wide with shock. "That's…"
"Weird? Dreadful? Disgusting? Worriso?"
"That's Amazing!!!"
"Huh" dea looked at her son with a hint of surprise evident on her face "You're not disgusted or bothered by the fact that your Father is the King of the dead"
"Bothered?! Are you kidding? Out of all the Gods you've told stories about He was mostly my favorite! So hearing he's now my father is so cool"
dea just looks at Lucian a bit weirdly 'To each their own I guess'. "That's definitely not the expression I was expecting if I'm being honest"
Lucian then started yawning 'Damn it, stupid baby body still needing sleep'.
dea just smiled at him softly before picking him up. "Co on now, it's ti for you to go to sleep, you must be tired." She said as she put Lucian's head to rest on her shoulder and started swaying him to sleep.
Lucian yawning once again just says "Tired? Who's tired? I'm not tired, I'm… the… definition… of… Woke zzzzzz"
dea started giggling to herself while listening to him. After laying Lucian to sleep dea sat down at the head of the table, after sighing she said "I know you're out there please stop hiding"
"Who says I was hiding? I was just silently observing" Hades said, appearing out of nowhere while taking off a warrior's helt, while also already sitting down at the opposite seat of where dea was sitting.
"How did you know I was here?" Hades asked curiously, he knew she wasn't actually able to detect him so her calling him out was mostly a guess.
"I knew you would appear if I said your na." dea explained.
Hades raised a brow at that "You willingly let your location be known after hiding and running after all this ti? Why?"
dea sighing just explained her reasoning "My ti is slowly coming to an end, I already served my purpose. The magic and help I used and received could only help so much."
"You know this is a dangerous gamble, right? What's stopping from claiming your soul right here and now. You being so knowledgeable should know I hate it when people escape death" Hades said with a cold expression on his face.
"Cause then you would have angered Lucian and that would have soured any kind of relationship you would have had with him and even I know that's sothing you wouldn't have liked"
Hades clicked his tongue, his expression then turned into a smirk "Well I wouldn't want his favorite God to disappoint him, now would I? The most amount of leeway I can give is 6 more years, after that it's out of my control and I would have to get violent in order to claim your soul. No matter how much my relation with him is affect"
dea nodded her head "That's perfect, I only have 6 years left anyways."
The atmosphere between the two of them then got a little awkward as none of them knew what to say next.
Hades turned his head and just continued looking at his son. dea, seeing this, smirked "It's his birthday you know, after you are going to at least give him sothing?"
Hades just scoffs at that "He's one year old none of what I would give him would be useful to him. I'll give him sothing when he turns 5, maybe then he'll make use of it."
dea scoffed "Yeah so? It's the thought that counts. Even with a title like "The Rich One" you sure a cheapskate"
Hades narrowed his eyes "Watch it woman. I'll give him sothing on his 5th that'll make up for the rest I miss, happy?"
dea just shrugged her shoulders "It's not who decides if I would be happy with that"
"I'm pretty sure Persephone would give him sothing as well." Hade said, looking at Lucian with a smile.
"Huh? She isn't mad about this?" dea asked in surprise.
Hades shook his no "Quite the opposite actually, she feels responsible for him"
dea was once again surprised by this revelation "And why is that?"
"Do I need to reiterate what happened that night into details?"
dea blush thinking about the night "Is it because she initiated it?" dea guessed
While Hades nodded his head, he then turned towards Lucian one last ti and turned to dea "Rember 6 years" he reminded her as he picked up his helm of darkness and disappeared from all of her senses.
dea shook her head and let out a sigh of relief 'He's just as scary as they described, luckily he was holding back his aura of fear or I think I would have gone insane'.
dea then yawned and realized that she was also tired, that eting the king of the Underworld was more exhausting than she was expecting.
She laid down on her bed and went to rest and just like that 2 years has passed making Lucian officially 3 years old.
