"A very interesting offer but without decei—" They tried to say before being stopped by an unknown voice to Damon, but one that the Hecatoncheires knew… and knew very well.
"Boy, co here," A very deep voice called him, a voice he had not heard since the first day he was at the entrance of Tartarus.
"Well, well, it has caught his attention… this will get interesting," Said the Hecatoncheir while all his faces laughed, sothing that confused Damon greatly. "Co on, let's not make him wait. If he helps you, we will do it too." He finished saying with a savage smile on his 50 faces.
As soon as he heard that, he focused on the place where the voice ca from and approached without even hesitating for a second. When he saw the man who had spoken, he didn't know why, but he seed familiar to him.
"Co closer, boy, we have so things to talk about," Said the man while Damon approached, followed by the Hecatoncheires.
Damon frowned a little at being called boy, but quickly dismissed that thought and said the first words that ca to his mind.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" Damon asked cautiously, waiting for an answer.
"The youth of today don't even have manners," He said while shaking his head. "You should say your na first before asking for soone else's," He finished saying while looking at Damon intently.
"Damon, that is my na," Damon said quickly since he did not want to waste ti with stupid conversations.
The mysterious man showed a big smile and then mocked him. "I already knew that, I know everything about you, Damon, the eldest son of Kronos, and my grandson," He finished saying while watching Damon's reaction when he told him that he was his grandson.
Damon was left in shock when he heard that and his mind began working at incredible speeds and then sothing clicked in his mind.
"You are Uranus, right?" Damon asked while standing in front of his grandfather, the ancient king, before being betrayed by his son.
"Exactly, Uranus, the Primordial God of the sky… That is how people used to rember " Said the one now known as Uranus. "What I want is simply to help you win against Kronos," Uranus finished saying, leaving Damon confused.
"Why? I have nothing to offer you…" Damon said, still in disbelief, he did not think he would receive help without sothing in return.
"Very simple, my ti has already passed. I did everything I wanted to do and I do not regret anything. I am very aware of the atrocities committed by my son Kronos and perfectly aware that he is not worthy of sitting on the throne" Uranus said before stopping for a mont letting Damon process his words.
"Therefore I want nothing in return, I have simply been waiting for soone worthy of my domains to appear so I could leave them my legacy" He finished saying, leaving Damon even more shocked.
Damon was on the verge of a ntal collapse. What the hell was happening? He ca looking for the help of the Hecatoncheires and ended up eting Uranus, who was telling him that he would hand over the domains of the sky itself to him. What kind of dream was this? He did not know what was happening; everything happened too fast, and he did not know what to say. He went blank, his mind literally stopped working until he heard Uranus speak again.
"Don't overthink it, boy, it's simply happening. Who do you want to give this power to if no one is aware of what it entails? I know perfectly well that you will know how to use it and guide the world toward a better future with it" Uranus said trying to pull Damon out of his thoughts.
"But this is too much, the sky itself, how do you expect to handle that if I'm not even aware of what I'm capable of doing?" Damon said with doubt in his voice, as he was about to reject the offer.
"The domain itself is easy to manage, you can be aware of everything that happens around you, you can be present everywhere that is within your domains, basically, you gain omnipresence. Do not make the sa mistake I did and trust too much in it, or you will end up being betrayed like I was," Uranus said while continuing to observe his grandson.
"And how does this help? If it gives knowledge of the titans' positions, that's good, but how does it give the strength necessary to win?" Damon asked, still unsure.
"When the sky was ford, I obtained the help of Aether, the primordial god of the air. Once you have my domain as your own, you will also have control over the air that embraces the sky. The air will beco part of your own body, it will mold itself to your will, and listen to when I say that air can beco sothing very powerful, and I know it will help you in battle," Uranus finished saying.
"Why ?" Damon asked.
"And why not?" He replied with another question and then sighed when he saw Damon's reaction. "You do not have negative ambitions. As I told you before, I know everything about you. I know that if you do have ambitions they will not be negative and that you will not abuse the power I give you to impose yourself on the innocent, sothing others certainly would do… like your father for example" Uranus finished saying, sounding a little more relaxed.
A great silence invaded all of Tartarus, as if every creature present were listening to the conversation, a conversation that would change the future. Damon lifted his gaze after repeating in his head the pros and cons of the power he was about to receive and, with great determination, said a word that would change the world.
"I accept" Damon said, sothing that made Uranus smile.
