Sorry for taking so long, I fell asleep. but here yall go.

"H-How do you know that na?" Damon asked, clearly caught off guard.

"We co from the sa pantheon. I've been watching you this whole ti. Ten years watching your actions... you are very interesting," the large wolf replied. "But one day you disappeared without leaving a trace. I've been searching for you ever since."

"What do you want?" Damon asked, his irritation coming back fast. This had stopped being funny. How had this wolf co all the way here from his pantheon? And if Amaterasu was right and ti moved differently between pantheons, then the wolf standing in front of him had been looking for him for years.

"Nothing, really," the wolf said as he sat down. "Like I told you, I was watching you. And for wolves, family always cos first... sothing you proved yourself. "

"and how the hell did I proved that?" Damon repeated. "I just ran away when they needed most. Sothing that I will make sure that never happens again..."

"You left so your family would not tear itself apart. If you had stayed, a war would have broken out," the wolf replied. "What I did not expect was for you to vanish into another pantheon."

Damon's eyes darkened.

"I left them with a man who does not even know how to tie his own shoes," he said, venom in his voice. "Just because I left does not an I stopped caring about what happens there."

"You're right. Zeus is a terrible king. Even your Father would have done better than him."

"He is not my father," Damon snapped back imdiately, making it clear just how little he considered Kronos his father. "Putting it in my mother does not make him my father. A rock would have done a better job raising than he ever could."

The wolf smiled at Damon's answer.

"I knew you were the right one."

Damon let out a breath. "And why exactly should I accept you as my sacred animal?"

"You are a lone wolf who left to grow stronger so you could one day stand against those who are hurting the people you love," the great wolf said, his words hitting Damon harder than expected. "You are more like us than you think, and the fact that wolves are your sacred animal was decided from birth. But we are not normal wolves, nor do we act like other animals. We are stronger and we can help you with your objectives."

He paused for a mont, letting Damon take it all in. "We love our family the sa way you love yours... the mont you sing this scroll; you beca part of our family."

Damon slowly looked around at the wolves surrounding him. The pups looked eager to run up to him and play, but their mothers kept stopping them before they could get too close. Little by little, it started sinking in.

"It could have been different, but you never gave ti to speak with you before leaving. Like I said, you simply vanished without a trace. I spent many years looking for you."

"With wolves, huh..." Damon muttered with a small smile, but every wolf around him heard it clearly with those sharp ears of theirs. "To be honest, I've always liked wolves."

That only made the big black wolf smile wider, and then sothing clicked in Damon's head.

"Wait... who brought you here? And if we co from the sa pantheon, why have I never heard of you?"

"Gaia did. She said she would explain it herself once you returned."

"Gaia?" Damon repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Out of everyone, I didn't expect her." First her blessing, and now this... I have to admit it, but I'm starting to love that woman.

The black wolf let out a low sound that almost seed amused. "Our kind did not always belong to the Greek pantheon. Our blood traces back to the Norse pantheon, more specifically to Fenrir, the great wolf of Norse legend. The place we ca from was never stable. The Norse gods were always fighting one way or another, and peace there never lasted long. So in the end, Gaia allowed so of our kind to cross into Greek territory and remain under her protection."

Damon stayed quiet, letting that sink in. He had heard that na before. His mother used to tell him stories about Fenrir when he was younger.

"Since then, we have stayed hidden, but we never forgot our blood."

"And why are you here specifically in Uzu?" Damon asked again.

"That is because of a goddess of this world... Amaterasu, if I rember correctly. She told us not to search for you, that one day you would find us instead."

"Troubleso woman," Damon muttered with a faint smile before looking back at the wolf in front of him. "Fine, you win. The wolves will be my sacred animal."

That imdiately got a few of the wolves around him wagging their tails so hard it was almost ridiculous.

"But I still don't get why you ca all the way here," Damon added, leaving the big white wolf a little confused.

"Like I already told you, you are family now, and we always protect our own. The goddess of this world told us you might need help one day, and we do not ignore sothing like that. So here we are." As soon as he finished speaking, a snow-white she-wolf, a little smaller than the black wolf in front of Damon, began walking toward him. "If you need us, call us, and we will be at your side as fast as we can. She is Kaia. She will stay with you at all tis, teach you more about the wolves, and protect you whenever needed in case we cannot go ourselves. I will remain with the pack."

"It's a pleasure to finally et you," Kaia said in a soft, calm voice.

"Kaia?" Damon repeated, getting a nod from the black wolf, while the she-wolf lowered her head respectfully in front of him. Damon quickly raised his hands and shook his head. "No need to bow. After all, we're family now, right?" he said with a wide smile. "If she has a na, then I'm guessing you do too."

"Orien," said the black wolf, now properly introducing himself.

"Hunter," Damon replied.

Orien smiled. "I see you still rember your mother tongue."

Kaia stepped closer to Damon and began slowly circling him, studying him little by little. The whole thing made Damon a bit nervous because he had no idea what she was doing, but before he could say anything, the white she-wolf spoke.

"That goddess from this world used to co here from ti to ti to tell us about you and everything you've done since arriving here... she also told us your goal is to bring peace to this world," Kaia said, finally stopping just a few inches away from Damon. "That is not an easy goal, Naruto... especially not in this world. You can sll the hatred in it from here."

At first Damon was surprised by how much they knew. The fact that Kaia had called him Naruto was already a sign of that, but he did not dwell on it too much. After all, they had clearly spent a long ti learning about him, so it made sense. He raised a hand and gently started stroking Kaia's head. Her fur was softer than he expected, and her white coat only made her look even prettier in his eyes.

"Yeah... it's going to be hard," Damon admitted while petting her, and Kaia did not pull away from the touch.

After that, everything went more naturally. Once the important talk was over, Damon walked toward a group of pups who looked like they had been dying to et him this whole ti. He crouched down and called them over. They did not hesitate for even a second. Before he knew it, he was surrounded by ten little wolves, all sniffing him and trying to play at once.

For a while, Damon stayed there, letting himself enjoy the mont. He remained around the old village of Uzu much longer than he had expected. For the first ti in a while, he felt like he could finally take a breath in a place that was quiet. It did not erase the pain of what happened to the Uzumakis. Not even close. But it did make the place feel a little less heavy.

That did not an he had forgotten them. Quite the opposite. They would always remain in his mories. This was just his way of honoring them without drowning in grief.

After a few days, all the wolves eventually went back to their own lives and left with Orien. The only one who stayed with Damon was Kaia, who would remain by his side or stay hidden nearby if he did not want her to be seen.

Taking advantage of the clearing they had made in the middle of the village, Damon used Earth Release to raise a large stone from the ground. Then, with a kunai in his hand, he carved the Uzumaki clan symbol into it. Around the spiral, and below it, he wrote a phrase in Ancient Greek.

"What does that an?" Kurama asked, not understanding the strange letters written there.

"Family always remains," Damon answered. Then after a short pause, he added, "One day I'll bring peace, and I'll return to my world, Kurama... but that doesn't an I'll forget them. This is my way of saying that no matter where I am, they'll always stay in my heart."

"What exactly happened that made you leave?"

That question had been on Kurama's mind since the day he started believing Damon, but until now he had never really found the right mont to ask it.

Damon looked away. He did not like talking about it. It was the kind of thing that felt like touching an old wound on purpose.

"Everything ca down to a fight over a throne I never wanted," Damon said after a while, his voice quieter than usual. "A war over sothing aningless... and in the end I grabbed the first chance I had to avoid facing a shitty reality."

He fell silent after that, rembering his years in his pantheon. There had been good monts there, but far more bad ones.

"One day I'll tell you everything, Kurama," Damon said at last. "I'm just not ready to talk about it yet."

Kurama nodded, understanding that this was a delicate topic and that he had already gotten more than he expected today. But if anything, Damon's answer only left him more confused. A war over a throne? Did that an Damon had locked himself away inside so kind of prison of his own making? Kurama kept those thoughts to himself for another day. For now, the smartest thing to do was let the matter rest.

Kaia, anwhile, understood perfectly well what Damon was feeling, and she could not have felt more proud of him. She remained quiet, lying beside him near the large stone. After sitting there in silence for a while, Damon gently patted the she-wolf's head.

"We should go," he said, and Kaia gave him a small nod.
