Camp Half-Blood

"Is this a joke?" Percy Jackson said in disbelief.

The eting had begun. Mr. D had already told him about the camp's main rules and had saved the best for last: Greek mythology was as real as water itself.

"HAHAHAHA," Damon began to laugh. "You should see your face."

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?" Percy shouted angrily, a vein bulging on his forehead. "Do you really believe all of this?" he continued, now a little calr.

"You saw a Minotaur with your own eyes. What more proof do you need? For Poseidon to show up and stop a tsunami with one hand?" Damon half-mocked.

"Do not say nas. They have power," Chiron said.

"What?"

"If you say the na of a monster, you call it to co. It could appear and attack the camp… or the campers trying to enter."

Damon raised an eyebrow, sowhat surprised by this. It was the first ti he had heard sothing like that. Surely it was so kind of exaggeration created as a stupid rule.

"So the Greek gods really exist?" Percy asked, still incredulous.

"Yes, Percy," Grover said. "I'm a satyr who was supposed to protect you. If any monster found you, it would try to kill you."

"So what happened at the museum was real?"

"Yes," Chiron answered this ti.

"I still find it hard to believe th—" Percy tried to say, but Mr. D interrupted him.

"Mortals," he said in annoyance. "Simple mortals who reject what is above them and deny its existence."

He finished by making a glass of wine appear, which he quickly dismissed at Chiron's advice and replaced with a can of Coca-Cola.

"If you do nothing for them, then don't ask them to kiss your ass for being a god and pray to you as if they owe you sothing," Damon said indifferently, shrugging, receiving a hard stare from the god of wine.

"Actually, Percy, you have a god right in front of you," the blond comnted. "Dionysus, to be exact."

"Boy, they just told you nas have power," Dionysus replied.

"Percy, standing before you is the god Mr. D," Damon said with humor. "Never search that na on Google, because there is no Greek god with that na. The only divine thing you'll find is a lawsuit over adult content."

Damon let out a small laugh at the look of annoyance on Dionysus's face.

"You are playing with fire, boy."

"Then how do you want to introduce you?" the blond asked. "First you say I can't say your real na, but when I introduce you with the na you're currently using, you get angry… the god of madness fits you perfectly."

"Fine. If you say one more word in my presence, I'll turn you into a rabbit and send you to Artemis's hunters so they can hunt you down," the god of wine said, now quite annoyed with the blond.

"Try it."

As soon as he heard that, Dionysus stood up furiously to carry out his threat… until he saw Damon's eyes. He was looking at him as if he were prey.

His blue eyes seed to have a life of their own and shone threateningly, as if telling him that if he moved a single finger, it would be the last ti he ever did.

A drop of sweat fell down his forehead.

He would never admit it in front of anyone… but that was the first ti he had felt fear toward a mortal since becoming a god.

This mortal is more than he shows… I have to warn Zeus, the god of wine thought.

Dionysus slowly sat back down without taking his eyes off Damon… but he was not the only one staring at him, impressed by how he had played with a god and co out unhard.

Chiron would have to speak with this boy alone. After all, there was sothing that did not fit in all of this… too many things for it to simply be fate.

"So now you think Damon exists?" Damon asked no one in particular… but there was soone present who knew perfectly well that the question was ant for him.

However, everyone froze. Even the world seed to stop… XD

Both Dionysus, Chiron, and Grover could not believe what they had just heard. It was almost comical, as if their eyes were about to pop out at any mont.

On Mount Olympus, all those who had been ignoring the conversation fell silent when they heard that forbidden na. More than one of them looked as if they were about to explode from pure shock.

"Yes…" the answer was heard clearly. "I an, if the gods exist, then he does too, right?"

"I don't know, pray to him or sothing… maybe he'll show up in front of you," Damon replied, shrugging.

"Damon…" Kurama said ntally..... "relax, it's just a joke, Kurama," Damon replied with a smile.

The skies began to fill with black clouds, and thunder rumbled loudly.

"Looks like Sparky isn't very happy," Damon said as he leaned back in his chair, looking up at the sky with both hands behind his head.

"I'm warning you…" Chiron said.

"It was just a joke, a joke," Damon said, raising his hands. "It's not that serious, Chiron." Damon rose from his seat. After all, he no longer had anything to do there.

"I like you, Perseus," he said before leaving the place, under the gaze of everyone present.

"Who is this guy?" the centaur wondered ntally. He almost gave a heart attack…

The eting ended as quickly as Damon rose from the chair. Speaking about Damon had not been a simple joke; it had caused more tension than even he expected. You could not say that na without earning the king's hatred.

The truly worrying part was that Zeus did not have his master bolt. The fact that he had not attacked instantly upon hearing the na did not change the fact that he had tried… and that he had been stopped by the other gods, who considered attacking soone like him a bad idea.

What no one knew was that, whether he had his bolt or not, facing Damon would be the last thing Zeus ever did…..... In the end, it was only a simple joke that so people refused to let ntally consu them…

Damon separated from the group. After all, he had already seen the camp with his own eyes, and he had other things to do.

"Does anyone rember where the library was?" the blond asked ntally. "I don't even rember if there was one in the first place."

"Cabin Six," Saiken answered. "It is the cabin of the goddess of wisdom."

"If there are books or anything close to a library, it has to be there," Isobu finished saying.

Without saying a word, the blond headed toward Cabin Six. He had to admit that having nine entities inside him could be quite stressful, especially when all nine of them argued and he had to listen to them constantly. But when he needed help, they could reach a conclusion faster than he could have on his own.

"What are you planning to read, Damon-chan?" the two-tailed cat asked with a curious purr, wondering what the blond had in mind.

"About Hestia," the blond replied. "It is ti to read about my siblings and what they have done while I was gone."

The conversation continued. Kurama was trying to chew Damon out for his little "joke."

As he made his way to Cabin Six, he could see the camp around him. Several campers were training with swords and bows, others seed to be playing agility gas, and so were resting or playing on the basketball court.

Everything was going well, but it could be better….
