If Koff truly refused to agree, then the only solution on-site would be to take action, the most direct being to capture Koff and use him to exchange for Aili.

However, what Xiaofan was betting on was that Koff wouldn't be so uncompromising; it was rely a eting. For him, there was no loss.

"Hahahahaha..." Unexpectedly, as soon as he finished speaking, Wolf King burst into loud laughter.

If Aili could be seen within ten minutes, it ant she was indeed in this base. Even if Aili was held outside the base, Xiaofan still tactically kept a card up his sleeve.
Half an hour...
The wait surprisingly lasted half an hour.
This made Xiaofan and others feel troubled. If in the base, it shouldn't take so long; if outside the base, Cody shouldn't have to go get her. Couldn't they just have Aili brought directly by her guards?
