The two of them hid in the cramped bathroom again.
They hoped it would be like last ti, the other side doing a quick check and then leaving.
But this ti wasn't like last ti. The two n walked straight up to the bathroom door and pulled it open.
When this man saw Xiaofan, he clearly hadn't expected them to actually be hiding here, so his expression was one of utter shock.
But as he reacted and was about to call out, Xiaofan clamped a hand over his mouth, blade rising and falling in one swift move.
His figure blurred, pouncing at the other man like a tiger going for the kill.

Lin Miaoke was a bit dazed by what she saw.

"Whoever ca to search probably forgot to lock it. By the way, do you still have to lock in every day when I go in and out? If I wake up later and want to eat, do I have to wait for dinner and for you to co unlock the door before I can eat?" Song Wencheng kept talking, trying to pull their attention away.
"Oh, of course not. Since you're already one of us, you're free to move around inside the cave. Tell you what, we'll take this lock away. We won't disturb your rest. When you're done resting, go to the cafeteria on your own."
"Mm."
He finally managed to send them away. As soon as Song Wencheng got back inside, he yanked open the bathroom door, and the stench of blood hit him in the face.
"You didn't get seen by anyone else, did you?"
"Not yet. But it's probably only a matter of ti before we are."

"Sorry, we've probably dragged you into this." Xiaofan said with so guilt.
The reason was simple. If the two corpses were found, there was no way Song Wencheng would be able to explain his way clear.

"Ten or twenty?" Song Wencheng looked at Xiaofan, puzzled, clearly not understanding what he ant.
"Hey, you're not planning to…"
"Yeah. I'm going out. Before I co back, you stay hidden in here. Don't go anywhere." Xiaofan said calmly to Lin Miaoke.
"But you're still hurt."
"It's fine, I'll be back soon."
Yes, the only way was for Xiaofan to slip out, do a circuit of killing, then co back. With his abilities, pulling that off by surprise wasn't hard. That was why he was ninety percent sure he could fight his way out alone.
At this point, they had no choice but to follow Xiaofan's lead. The plan was his, and all the action depended on him as well.
He eased the door open, scanned the surroundings warily, his figure flickering through the gap as he pulled the door shut behind him.
Watching Xiaofan slip out, Lin Miaoke suddenly felt herself start to panic.
She didn't know when it started, but she'd found she could only feel safe waiting here if he was with her. The mont he stepped out, she couldn't cope with being here anymore.
The extre unease filled Lin Miaoke's face with anxiety. She prayed nothing would happen, prayed he would co back soon.
"Boss, we found two search team mbers dead on the second level."
"Boss, two of our guys turned up dead in the third-floor storeroom."
"Boss…"
"Boss."
"Search. Step it up. Keep searching. I want those two rats dragged out."
"Yes, sir."
"What the hell are the caras and surveillance for? People stroll around on my turf killing my n and I don't even get a glimpse? Snake Head, you're the one who brought those two in. You go take them out, right now. If you can't kill them, I'll kill you."
"Boss, calm down. I'll take so n and drag them out right away."
The man's patience had reached its limit. But it also proved the two of them were still inside the cave, which ant there was no need yet to go to the final step.

After killing his way through one circuit, Xiaofan wanted to get back to Song Wencheng's room. The people in the cages, after hearing Xiaofan was there to rescue them, had hope in their eyes. They quickly went quiet, acting like they hadn't seen a thing.
From their eyes, Xiaofan saw their fear of this place, and their longing for the outside.
It made sense. The ones who had been locked up with them were taken out for experints and never brought back to the cages. The outco waiting for them was probably the sa.
But Xiaofan had already said before that if he tried to break out, bringing Lin Miaoke along only gave him a thirty percent chance. So what about the thirty-four people in these cages? How was he supposed to save them?
With Xiaofan alone, it couldn't be done. In the end, it would depend on whether his brothers could pinpoint his location before dawn tomorrow.
