In the interrogation room of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Lin Miaoke heavily threw the docunts in her hand onto the table, shouting angrily at Xiaofan. She leaned over the table, glaring at him with fury.
She was genuinely angry. This guy clearly had a lot of secrets in his heart, yet he never talked to her about them. At the end of the day, didn't he completely fail to treat her as a friend?
But if he didn't consider her a friend, why would he seek her help with such grand gestures each ti? Here he was, causing another commotion as if he couldn't go a day without stirring up trouble.
"Today, you seem to be in a bad mood. That ti of the month?"

"Huh? What?" Miaoke was in the middle of her tirade, felt Xiaofan's odd gaze, and suddenly looked down: "Bastard, still incorrigible."
After cursing him, Lin Miaoke quickly stood up straight and rebuttoned her police uniform. Her whole face suddenly turned red.
"Calm down, girl, getting angry easily gives you crow's feet. Such smooth skin, it'd be a sha if it wrinkles." Xiaofan said raising his eyebrows.
"You... can't you quit your lecherous attitude?" Lin Miaoke chided playfully. Probably only Ye Xiaofan dared to tease her like this in this world, but Miaoke knew his personality, and she couldn't bring herself to stay mad.
"Nope. I quite like my personality. Hmm, the police uniform was tight, might pop open again soday."
"You..."
Well, with such distractions, the interrogation led to nothing, but it was just for show anyway. Lin Miaoke understood Xiaofan, and besides, soone up top vouched for him. A simple record would let Xiaofan go.
Actually, Xiaofan had anticipated this, so he wiped Li Kuo's fingerprints from the weapon and replaced them with his own. However, from Li San's side, they still couldn't extract anything.

Just as expected, Li San and his n had indeed caught a few peripheral mbers of the Red Butterfly down at the Dongri building. Their arms were marked with tattoos of the letter R.
Of course, to extract information, he only needed to take one person back, but Xiaofan didn't expect to learn much from these peripheral mbers.
He brought three people back in total, leaving the rest transferred to Lin Miaoke's side.
What surprised Xiaofan was that when he returned ho, he discovered that Li San and his people had already extracted so information.
"Xiaofan, this guy ca from another secret location in Yanjing. It should be a substation of the Red Butterfly," Li San boasted as Xiaofan walked in.
"Hmm? How did you get him to talk?" Xiaofan asked, puzzled.
"Oh, this guy's a coward, and it seems he hasn't been in the Red Butterfly for long. The other two won't speak no matter how much we press them, but scare this guy a little, and he spills everything. There were complete details, not like he was lying," Li San continued.
"Xiaolei, Han Shengjun, and Li Kuo, where are they?" Only then did Xiaofan realize he hadn't seen these three since he returned.
"They went back to Dongri an hour ago. This guy said there's information about the substation on Hou Yaoming's computer. He and Hou Yaoming ca from a sublocation, a total of fifteen people, but it seems you took care of the others," Li San added.

Another twenty minutes later, Li Kuo and others ca rushing back, with Han Shengjun carrying a computer tower.
As soon as Li Kuo returned, he yelled for Xiaofan and sprinted to his room, bringing out a monitor and a mouse and keyboard.
After connecting all the wires, Li Kuo started typing rapidly on the keyboard.
Han Shengjun, seeing Li Kuo's prowess with computers for the first ti, couldn't help but inwardly praise, though he had dabbled in such areas himself.
The supposed passwords were no obstacle under Li Kuo's hands. The three password locks were completely dismantled in less than five minutes.
"Here, Xiaofan, this is the information about the Yanjing substation the guy ntioned. Seems he was telling the truth." Li Kuo said softly after turning the monitor to Xiaofan.
"Heh, who knew it would be so easy," Lei Xiaolei chuckled lightly.
Xiaofan scrutinized carefully. This information seed genuine, but why did he feel an uncomfortable unease?
Later, Xiaofan re-questioned the peripheral mber, and his account matched Li San's initial statent. After so many secretive struggles, it was Xiaofan's first ti pinpointing an open substation of the Red Butterfly.
"So what now? Thirty-six assassins, hand them to Yanhuang Soul, or should we handle it ourselves..." Ren Ying also ca over to ask, clearly ready to support any decision Xiaofan made.
Given Xiaofan's position as a target under the Assassination Order, with this perfect opportunity before him, how could he not seize the chance to strike back?
