After everyone chose their rooms, they gathered together for lunch.
Lunch was simple, with farm-style dishes and rice porridge. Here, there's no chance of a seafood feast, but for students accustod to rich foods, a change in palate is sotis a good thing.
"Has everyone finished eating?"
"All done."
Everyone was very satisfied with He Jun's arrangents, so when He Jun spoke, he received everyone's approval.
"As for the plan for the afternoon, I have a suggestion: let's make dinner ourselves." He Jun continued.
"Huh? Make it ourselves?"
The suggestion from He Jun was t with mixed reactions. So students were eager to try, while others seed clueless about cooking.
"Well, here's the thing: the hotel has charcoal, right under that grove of fruit trees. You can pick out ingredients from the hotel kitchen, or you can pick from nearby vegetable gardens, but rember, picking soone else's produce costs money. At night, we'll divide into groups for a barbecue. Of course, if you don't want barbecue, you can borrow pots, pans, and basic cooking supplies from the hotel kitchen and cook for yourselves. After all, we're here to have fun, right?"
"Oh, great..."
"Barbecue, hahaha, I love it."
Once again, He Jun managed to spark everyone's interest.
Then everyone began looking for friends to form a group and went in search of ingredients for tonight's dinner.
"Why are you two following ?" Xiaofan turned around, feeling exasperated, and asked Liu Siyan and Chen ngying who were closely behind him.
"We're forming a group together." Liu Siyan said sweetly.
"Mhm." Chen ngying nodded with a hum.
"Co on, you girls should form your own group; that would be more fun." Xiaofan pouted, seemingly having no interest in it at all.
"Who says so? I think it would be fun to group with you, and besides, I don't want barbecue. You surely have a way to make sure we don't go hungry tonight, right?"
"Mm." Chen ngying nodded again.
What are these two up to? Xiaofan just wanted to wander around and not find things to do. In the end, Xiaofan, Liu Siyan, Chen ngying, Lin Hai, and Zhang Qing, five classmates, ford a small group.
Of course, He Jun also wanted to invite Liu Siyan to join their group, using all kinds of delicious temptations and saying they would all go picking vegetables later. However, it was all to no avail.

Such a wild action from Liu Siyan's foot surprised Xiaofan a bit.
"What do you want for dinner?"
Xiaofan's question was sowhat subtle because he asked what she wants to eat, not what you all want to eat. It seed like he only cared about Liu Siyan.
"I want sothing delicious." Liu Siyan's answer was even more baffling to Xiaofan.
What counts as sothing delicious?
"Let's go."
With Xiaofan's order, the four of them happily followed. Clearly, having a leader helps in accomplishing what you want to do.
While others were selecting vegetables and at, Xiaofan led the four of them to cut so bamboo. Yes, while cutting bamboo, Xiaofan also dug up a bamboo shoot.
"Old squad leader, Zhang Qing, this part is for you guys. Clean five pieces of bamboo, then peel the bamboo shoots and cut them into strips." Xiaofan began assigning tasks.
"Okay."
"Got it."
"Lin Hai," Xiaofan continued.
"Eh..."
"See if there's a cart nearby and bring a load of dirt blocks, like this, they need to be dry and large," Xiaofan said as he bent down to pick up a dirt block from the ground as an example.

People were curious about the obscure things Xiaofan's group was doing, but beyond curiosity, many were waiting to see a joke, after all, the point was to see whose food turned out best. If soone was left hungry, they'd surely beco a laughingstock at graduation.
However, even if they beca a laughingstock, it would be a happy mory because they had been part of this group, and thinking back, a smile would bloom on their face.
"Liu Siyan, co with ."
Everyone had tasks, yet Xiaofan took Liu Siyan to a farmhouse, borrowed a shovel, and began digging in the open space behind the bamboo forest.
"Ye Xiaofan, what are you doing?"
"See those, pick them up and put them in the small basin we brought over earlier." Xiaofan indicated.
"What? What are you seeing? What are you picking up?"
"Worms, of course."
"Huh? You've got to be kidding . I pick them up?" Seeing the squirming worms in the soil, Liu Siyan suddenly rembered when she was eight and this guy put a beetle in her clothes.
Such nostalgic feelings, just like when the two of them caught small fish and shrimps by the creek. Indeed, he hasn't changed a bit.
Xiaofan originally wanted to scare Liu Siyan to make her laugh, but seeing her actually use her small, fair hand to move the soil and pick up the worms, he was a little stunned. She wasn't afraid?
"What are you looking at? Hurry up and dig! By the way, can this thing be eaten?" Liu Siyan asked curiously.

anwhile, Chen ngying, Zhang Qing, and Lin Hai each completed their tasks, and everyone was given a fishing rod. The five of them quietly sat by a pond, fishing.
It turned out, the worms were for bait, and Xiaofan's actions were quite swift, digging worms and then cutting bamboo poles in the forest, buying lines and hooks from a small shop, and quickly crafting a fishing rod.
Furthermore, the fish in the pond were raised; the fish they caught were fresh, not too expensive, and after negotiating with the pond's owner, they began fishing.
