The stadium was chaotic, mostly because of the Ye Clan, as every mber stood there seething in anger. It was as if they were about to go to war with soone and massacre thousands.
At least, that’s what their faces suggested.
It wasn’t a surprise, though, considering the reason for it. Just a few minutes ago, the Envoy from the Iron Frost Sect returned with the bloodied body of Ye Chen.
Seeing his state made many retch. As Martial Artists, they were used to blood and gore, but even they were affected by the sheer brutality inflicted upon him.
While the other two clans remained silent, they were also secretly surprised by the turn of events. Especially since they already knew the culprit.
Ye Jun, the trash Young Master of the Ye Clan. The man with the worst talent in Bright Star City. The sa person everyone believed would be dead before his twentieth birthday.

They could see no reason why Song Liangxue would be interested in him.

While the other Elders of the Ye Clan tried to restrain him, lest he offend the Envoys, Ye Zhong had gone with the Envoy to treat Ye Chen. He had remained silent the entire ti, but the killing intent radiating from him told everyone enough.
Patriarch Xie sighed and said, "Young Miss, are you sure this is fine?"
"I’m confused, Patriarch Xie," Song Liangxue, who had been smiling faintly until then, turned toward him. "What do you an?"

A cold glint passed through her eyes as she added, "If it were up to , Bright Star City would only have two clans left."
The two Patriarchs glanced at each other and gave a short nod of understanding. They decided not to involve themselves further and, if possible, establish a cordial relationship with Ye Jun instead.
Just then, Song Liangxue’s smile widened as she said, "My hubby is here."

The travel back to the city was easy for Ye Jun since ihui was with him. She had already morized the paths they had used earlier, so they didn’t encounter any powerful beasts.
Still, Ye Jun felt envious of her. "You do know I spent years learning everything here, right? How did you learn it so easily?"
"Soul Tempering Realm will give you answers for that," ihui replied calmly. "It’s better to experience it firsthand."
"It’s still far away," Ye Jun sighed and looked ahead. "Oh. We’re here. And I feel like we’re about to receive a wonderful welco."
"Indeed. I can already feel the killing intent of many people," ihui giggled softly. "You really angered many this ti. I’m proud of you."
Ye Jun smiled as well. He turned to the west, noticing the sun’s last rays dancing across the horizon. "The Martial Exchange is almost over, so everyone must already be in the stadium."
"Hurry up then."
Ye Jun continued walking fearlessly despite knowing that an angry crowd awaited him, ready to kill him in countless ways. That thought only made him smile wider.

They soon reached the gates. All gazes fell upon them, as if everyone had been eagerly waiting for their arrival. At that exact mont, Ye Jun felt a wave of killing intent wash over him.
Coming from more than a hundred people, it would have paralyzed most cultivators. But Ye Jun didn’t even flinch. He felt nothing.
’This is nothing compared to that battlefield. Nothing.’
"I WILL KILL YOU!!"
He turned, only to see the Law Enforcent Elder of the Ye Clan lunging at him, his saber executing an unknown technique. But Ye Jun knew that if it landed, he would die.
