"Exactly, such a heartless guy. We were kind enough to give him a ride, and he had the nerve to throw it back in our faces!"
The girl nad Little Snow was Chen Xue, a senior college student. She ca to the unmanned region of Border City for a self-drive adventure with several classmates from well-to-do families.
Chen Xue gazed dreamily at Qin Yu’s retreating figure, muttering, "That man is so cool! And the little squirrel in his arms is so cute."
"A squirrel? Little Snow, did you see it wrong? Shouldn’t it be a small dog or a little wolf or sothing? Where would there be a squirrel in the wilderness?"
"It is a squirrel!" Chen Xue pouted.
"Alright, alright, if you say it’s a squirrel, then it’s a squirrel!"
Chen Xue puffed her cheeks and got into the car, saying irritably, "Drive!"
Soon, the Humr caught up with Qin Yu again. However, this ti, the Humr did not stop, but continued driving forward.
But as they passed by Qin Yu, one of the Humr’s windows rolled down, revealing Chen Xue’s delicate face.
Qin Yu heard a peal of silver-bell-like laughter; "Giggle... I told you it’s a squirrel, right? What he’s holding is definitely a squirrel!"
In the middle of the grasslands lies a region known as the "Forbidden Zone of Life" by scholars and experts from various countries, which is the most harsh and uninhabited area of the grassland.
The "uninhabited region" spans about six hundred thousand square kiloters, with an average elevation over five thousand ters.
The living conditions in this area are extrely harsh, with nothing but mountains, lakes, grasslands, and wildlife, scarcely a sign of human habitation.
In history, there have been people who ventured into the wilderness, either suffering from lack of food or water, or getting lost, with very few returning alive.
Especially entering the uninhabited area on foot, it’s a matter of life and death.
The Humr had gone far, but the young people in the car were still discussing the Qin Yu they had just seen.
"That guy just now really had so nerve, going into the wilderness alone on foot, and dressed so lightly. I think he might be looking to die."
"That’s not necessarily true, maybe the guy we saw is a master of so kind! Why else would he be holding a little squirrel?"
"Liu Fei, you’re still dreaming your martial arts dreams, huh? Just focus on driving!"
"Not good! The snowstorm is getting heavier, and visibility is dropping." As the snowstorm intensified, even the powerful Humr had to slow down.
The young driver grumbled discontentedly, "What kind of horrible weather is this? I can’t even recognize the road. What if we get lost? Shouldn’t we rest for a while?"
"There’s no village ahead, and no store behind. How do we rest? Just keep driving west! I’ve been to the wilderness once with Uncle Liu, I rember there was an inn to the west!
Once we reach the inn, we can rest."
Chen Xue shook her head gently.
"Alright..." Chen Xue held a special status among the young people. Once she spoke up, the young driver hesitated no further.
Two hours later, the Humr ran out of gas, and the vehicle broke down.
"Liu Fei, what’s going on?" Chen Xue furrowed her brow.
"We’re out of gas, Chen Xue, don’t worry, there are two barrels of fuel in the trunk." Having said that, Liu Fei got out of the car and stared at the snowstorm as he walked towards the trunk.
But he hadn’t taken more than a few steps before he seed to see sothing terrifying, let out a shriek, and dove back into the Humr!
"Liu Fei, what happened?" Everyone was puzzled.
"Wolves! There’s a pack of wolves outside!" Liu Fei cried out in alarm!
"Wolves?" Everyone rolled down their windows and saw a vast expanse of eerie green lights!
"It really is a pack of wolves! Take them down!"
The most muscular young man, Liu Xin, took out his compound bow, which had a draw weight of three hundred and twenty pounds and trendous power!
