His mind flashed like lightning, almost imdiately comprehending, as he looked at the young Alchemist and shouted, "What are you doing!?" Before he finished speaking, he threw the shield in his hand forcefully at the other party.

But the other party was obviously prepared, sidestepping the shield that whooshed past him with a loud clang, striking Sonan's crystal nearby, shattering it into pieces.
