Fang Hong quickly nodded.

In the video, Tang Sheng then turned to Ambassador Liao on the side. The latter gave a slight smile and said, "Mr. Tang, we have so matters to discuss with Mr. Fang Hong next."

Tang Sheng nodded, "He's in your hands now, Ambassador Liao."

"Rest assured," Ambassador Liao said gently, "We will ensure Mr. Fang's personal safety."

Fang Hong watched as the ambassador closed the video, then turned back with a slight smile in his eyes and spoke with so interest, "Mr. Fang Hong, you really made us search high and low for you this ti. Because of this 'small matter' of yours—the Stargate Special Reserve Teams of the five permanent mbers of the United Nations were all deployed, along with search teams from South Korea, Japan, and thirteen other countries joining in."

He sighed deeply, "It took us a massive operation in Eteliria for five whole months to finally find you today. And that's thanks to your own appearance in Fanric; otherwise, who knows how long this search operation would have gone on, at least another half year, I think."

Fang Hong blushed with embarrassnt at these words.

He never thought that his personal affair would cause such a big commotion. What made him even more apprehensive was the thought that if Stargate Port demanded reimbursent for the Special Preparation Team's deploynt costs, he'd have to be sold ten tis over to pay it back.

Of course, that was just his personal perception. At least from Su Changfeng's view, ten tis would be unnecessary, once would be more than enough, with perhaps even so interest.

However, even though Ambassador Liao laid out all these figures, his tone wasn't harsh, and even had a hint of playfulness: "But may I ask, what do you plan to do next, Mr. Fang Hong?"

Fang Hong was troubled by this question.

By rights, he still wanted to stay in Eteliria. However, from the tone of his aunt and uncle, it's more likely they wouldn't allow it. He had actually discussed this matter with them nurous tis before coming to Eteliria, but all ended due to their firm opposition.

Even his uncle, who had always been very lenient with him, held an opposing stance on this matter.

So he really had no choice, but to resort to this last-ditch plan. His initial idea was to complete his thesis here, then find a way to get them to accept it—he believed both his uncle and aunt were reasonable people and should understand his personal choice by then.

But he hadn't expected that sneaking out like this would cause such a big disturbance. He t his uncle and aunt in great trepidation, and although they didn't seem like they wanted to kill him, he could tell from their words that staying was likely not an option.

But how could he leave?

Not to ntion his studies, what about Hilveld?

He furrowed his brows, deeply troubled for a mont.

Ambassador Liao noticed this and said with a softened tone, "It seems like your family is opposed to your becoming an Invoker."

Fang Hong nodded helplessly.

But the other party just smiled slightly and asked, "And what about you, do you wish to stay in this world?"

Fang Hong was slightly taken aback by these words, instinctively raising his head to look at the other person. It seed he caught the implication in the Ambassador's words, and a deep light flashed in his eyes.

...

The bright sunlight stread through the glass window, casting impurities onto the floor, and within the golden light, countless tiny creatures seed to be dancing up and down.

Luo Hao watched as Yuwen Yu was peeling an apple. The technique was interesting; using a small silver knife, he peeled the top first, then flipped the apple to peel the other side, making the peel join together while the middle continuously fell, forming a long, thin roll.

Then Yuwen Yu would lift the peel and place it on a wooden plate. In just a short ti, he had peeled three apples, each placed neatly on the plate.

Luo Hao had never seen soone peel apples this way, especially not a man. He couldn't help but feel that deep down, Yuwen Yu was a bit effeminate.

Sitting on the bed, Luo Hao finally spoke, "Honestly, if it weren't for you back then, I'd have been done for."

"It was the Captain who sent ," Yuwen Yu lifted his eyes, giving him a glance.

"I know, but I heard it was you who reported to the Captain. Honestly, I always thought you couldn't stand ."

"You're right, that's indeed the case."

Luo Hao opened his mouth and replied, "Alright, I'll admit we've had so grudges."

Yuwen Yu paused his knife, looking at him, "What exactly are you trying to say?"

"I believe my judgnt back then was correct. I'm fine with being disciplined, as I violated orders first, but being removed from the team—I don't agree."

"I wasn't the one who reported to the Captain."

"If it wasn't you, then who?"

Luo Hao, initially red in the face, suddenly saw Yuwen Yu turning his head. He imdiately quieted down, hearing a few soft knocks at the door outside.

"It was the Captain who gave the order personally." Yuwen Yu responded.

"Do you think I'd believe you?" Luo Hao asked, watching Yuwen Yu get up to open the door, lowering his voice slightly.

Yuwen Yu opened the door, revealing a soldier in a black coat outside, holding a thick envelope in his arms. He simply looked at him and asked, "Is Luo Hao here?"

Yuwen Yu instantly recognized the soldier's identity, subconsciously stepping aside. When the soldier saw Luo Hao in the room and confird, he took the envelope from his coat and said to both of them, "Luo Hao, your transfer order has arrived."

"Transfer order?" Luo Hao was taken aback, "What transfer order?"
