"You and I analyzed the current top Invokers of the Second World, surely we can't just overlook ourselves, right? Currently, there are seven schools of Sword Saints in Eteliria, can we really ignore a teacher?"
R couldn't help but laugh.
"So I told you, can you recognize now?"
"That's exactly what I'm curious about."
"Don't overthink it, kid," R replied, "do you think you know all the top Invokers of the Second World? How many people from the generation before the Decade Dynasty, besides the Chairman of Silver Weslan, can you still recognize?"
Fang Hong was slightly taken aback. The golden age for an Invoker usually lasted about ten years, after which they gradually transitioned to the secondary line. For top Invokers, three generations often spanned fifteen years, a period marked by frequent changes.
If he were to na the renowned Invokers of previous generations, apart from the outstanding ones, he truly couldn't na them all. But the teacher's aning, was he saying that he was also one of these people?
But after thinking it over, he found it unlikely. At least from Miya and the earlier reactions of the Descendants of Flor's Dragon Knight, it seed the teacher was still active in the Second World. And judging by the voice, the person sounded relatively young.
"But surely the teacher wasn't a Pioneer of that era?" he asked.
R shook his head, "I'm just telling you there are many things you don't know. So don't ask about the others. Even if I told you I'm Sword Saint 'R', how much would you really know?"
"Of course, you can always ask your wife," he glanced at Miya, "but I guess she won't be able to tell you much either."
Fang Hong almost choked, "Miss Miya and I are not in that kind of relationship."
"Suit yourself."
But suddenly, R's tone changed, "Soone's coming ahead."
Fang Hong was alard; having just escaped from Qing's 'clutches', was there soone else coming ahead? He realized that those active underground at this mont were likely from the Descendants of Flor or the Blood Shark Sky Pirates or the Dragon Worship Sect.
In any case, it wouldn't be good news.
He quickly held his breath, leaned against the wall, and looked towards 'R' and Miya, waiting for their analysis. But this ti, 'R' was unusually stumped— he looked at Miya, who furrowed her beautiful brows, saying nothing.
"Sea Witch, what do you think?" R asked.
Miya shook her head, "I can't discern the depth of the newcors either."
"Indeed," R replied, "the reaction from the Magic Guided Reactor is very strange."
Only then did he say to Fang Hong, "Kid, be careful, the newcors are sowhat odd. But it seems they haven't spotted you yet; hide well and observe what kind of people are coming—"
"If the other party is very strong but has poor perception abilities," Miya unusually added, "Ade, you'd better not reveal yourself easily."
Fang Hong hastily nodded.
He thought to himself, how could he possibly reveal himself easily? His hand was still broken, it would be asking for trouble. He then shrank into a corner, silently holding his breath, only leaving his bright eyes watching vigilantly outside.
Fang Hong couldn't help but ntally complain for a while; the Tada Ritualist spoke of going west, saying the Shining Sea would shelter him at a crucial mont, but it proved to be unreliable prophecy. In crucial monts, it's still the teacher and Miya he could count on.
He couldn't help but think that if not for the good luck of encountering his teacher and Miya today, he might have perished in the previous battle before the Descendants of Flor's Dragon Knight even had a chance to make a move against him.
This battle cost him two more Energy Angels; with only five left in inventory, he couldn't help but feel a pang of heartache.
While Fang Hong was silently pondering over these disjointed thoughts, suddenly, sothing he least expected happened. He first heard Miss Tata softly 'oh' in his Mind World.
Then suddenly, a red light illuminated in the darkness—that was none other than his Communication Crystal.
Fang Hong could never have anticipated that the Communication Crystal, which had been malfunctioning and incapable of reaching the outside world, only able to send ssages in community, would suddenly start working again. Not only did it start working, but it also received a communication protocol—
Previously, he had left the communication mode open, just in case the Communication Crystal resud normal operation, allowing Hilveld and the others to reach him promptly. But the earlier skirmish made him overlook this.
At this mont, he didn't even have ti to press to extinguish the crystal's light when he heard Tianlan's startled voice coming through:
"Brother Ade, Brother Ade, ah... I think I've contacted the Captain, hurry over... really, I'm not lying this ti!"
So, was she lying before? Hearing this, Fang Hong nearly fainted.
He quickly glanced outside, fearing the person R ntioned might just walk into this passageway, but as soon as his hand reached the crystal, he heard Tianlan hurriedly saying, "Brother Ade, are you there?"
"We've finally reached you, where are you? So things happened outside; Hilveld and Sister Elisa haven't returned yet. Oh, and Sister Atira went to look for you."
Her voice had just faded.
Simultaneously, Fang Hong also heard a slightly surprised, gentle voice approaching from the dark.
The voice's owner seed to pause at that location, cautiously asking:
"Ade, are you there?"
Upon hearing this, Fang Hong was slightly stunned. He certainly recognized the voice, subconsciously ceasing his actions, joyfully looking in that direction. "Miss Atira?"
And in the next mont, he saw Elf Miss appearing before him, clutching a spear in one hand and a fluffy white object in the other.
Looking closely, that fluffy thing was none other than the ship's cat, Lady Daisy.
