The Energy Angel moved without much sound, but the opponent evidently possessed so skills, for when it approached, the Iron Guard reacted promptly.

The opponent imdiately tossed aside the oil in his hand, instinctively raising his sword in response. A spark flickered in the darkness, accompanied by a sharp ring, as the opponent deftly parried the Energy Angel's arm blade.

But the balance value returned by the Energy Angel surprised Fang Hong slightly; the Iron Guard's strength level was considerably lower than he had anticipated.

Although the Iron Guard blocked this strike, Fang Hong was never one to rely solely on a single attack. Under his calm control, the Energy Angel used its right foot as a pivot, spun, and delivered a side kick.

Raising its foot blade, it thrust a sword towards the opponent.

"Construct!" The person seed to comprehend, shouting in a low voice. Yet, the Energy Angel pressed him into continuous retreat, leaving him no ti to retrieve his shield, forcing him to barely use his sword to block once more.

Another flash, he again blocked the Energy Angel's foot blade. However, the slender blade grazed his arm, leaving a cut.

The Energy Angel, missing its strike, thrust its foot blade straight into the wall behind him, embedding itself within.

Using this as leverage, it lifted its right foot and swung a blade at him once more. This strike was so cunning that the Iron Guard couldn't react in ti.

Or, even if he did react, he couldn't regain his balance quickly enough.

A 'chh' sound echoed, and a blood streak appeared on his neck. The Iron Guard widened his eyes, futilely reaching for the spot.

But suddenly, his eyes rolled back, and he fell headlong.

Without a word, Fang Hong imdiately commanded the Energy Angel to pull its foot blade from the wall and rush towards the other Magic Guided Conductor.

But just as he completed this action, he was montarily startled. For he realized that the Magic Guided Conductor hadn't reacted at all; let alone casting spells, he was just now clumsily picking up his Magic Guided Wand.

But by then, it was already too late.

Although Fang Hong was sowhat surprised, he wouldn't give the opponent a chance. He simply sliced forward with his hand as a blade.

The Magic Guided Conductor's head detached from his body, dying a aningless death.

Fang Hong watched the two fall in succession, slightly in disbelief. Previously, when he clashed with the Descendants of Flor, they almost had him cornered. How did these people suddenly beco so incompetent?

Even if not everyone was a Dragon Knight, the first group of the Descendants of Flor he encountered were equally formidable.

Never forget that, at the ti, aside from Eve's power amplification, he also had Miya and R to assist him, yet engaging them was not as effortless as it was now.

He paused for a mont, then stepped forward to inspect. All around was silent, and there was no ambush as he had imagined.

Fang Hong checked the two bodies, but unfortunately, they hadn't dropped anything valuable.

He raised his head, then Ati opened her mouth, saying:

"Ade, soone is approaching."

Fang Hong glanced over there, unsurprised. These two were likely part of a team with others. Although they arguably didn't have ti to convey what transpired here, the rest would have noticed the demise of their comrades.

That's precisely why he opted for a swift battle; the outco proved his judgnt correct.

The Elf Miss was injured and unfit for combat, so she hadn't joined the fray earlier. In such a battle, her participation was relatively inconsequential.

But even without participating, Ati remained on alert.

Imdiately after the battle concluded, Fang Hong dispatched his Clockwork Fairy. By now, through the Clockwork Fairy, he had discerned movents from the other side.

Three were approaching, and it seed the Descendants of Flor favored such five-person squads. Among the three, the leader was a Great Sword Warrior, followed by an Archer with a curved bow.

The last person was a spellcaster; the Magic Guided Conductor was obscured from the Clockwork Fairy's vision, but Fang Hong guessed blind that he should be a Healer.

He conceived a plan, setting a trap unhurriedly, then retreated with Ati.

In just a mont, the three appeared in the passage. Clearly, they were also wary of an ambush, maintaining a basic formation as they hurried over.

The Great Swordsman led, the Ranger was behind, and lastly, the Healer.

Unfortunately, they had only considered potential ambushers on either side or ahead in the darkness, not anticipating their opponent was a Combat Artisan.

Nor did they expect the first wave of ambush to co from beneath their feet.

A 'buzz' sounded, as Stalker Ts-1 leaped up, producing a Gravity Trap instantly. Simultaneously, as their movents slowed, two Screeching Banshees silently flew over, dropping so lightweight objects.

re monts later, a Concussion Bomb and Flash Bomb took effect simultaneously, enveloping the area in a dazzling light, catching the three off guard.

Seizing the mont when the opponents were blinded, the Energy Angel, lurking nearby, imdiately struck.

The leader, the Great Swordsman, presumably the team's Captain, despite reacting slower than those Fang Hong encountered previously, still retained combat capabilities.

As the Energy Angel approached, he surprisingly raised his Great Sword, slashing blindly. This attack landed precisely on the arm blade extended by the Energy Angel.

Both were pushed back a step by each other's force, halting Fang Hong's advance.

But before the Great Swordsman could catch his breath, the Ranger shouted nearby, "There's more!" Forcing his tearful eyes open, he vaguely saw a shadow darting from beside the Construct he had pushed away.

It was another Energy Angel.

But the Great Swordsman's reaction was slow, unsuspecting being caught off guard. He had no ti to retract his sword, helplessly watching the Energy Angel pierce his chest with a blade.

The Energy Angel withdrew its sword, a jet of blood sprayed out. Simultaneously, a bowstring twanged, as the Ranger finally nocked another arrow to shoot at him.

Unfortunately, due to the gravity effect, it was still slightly delayed.

The Ranger realized this as well. Likely assuming the Energy Angel would evade, he quickly notched another arrow after the first.

But he forgot, his opponent was a Construct, not an actual living being.

Fang Hong, concerned about the possibility of more enemies, had no intention to avoid the arrow, commanding the Energy Angel to face it head-on and retaliate against the Ranger with a backward sword slash.

The second battle ended within monts.

The Healer, witnessing two comrades fall under the sword in an instant, lost all will to resist and turned to flee deeper.

But Fang Hong wasn't about to give him that chance, swiftly pursuing and cutting him down.

After the three fell, even Ati noticed, remarking, "The opponent's standard seems to have dropped significantly compared to before."

Fang Hong nodded, a vague sense of sothing amiss brewing in him. Just as he walked over to inspect, the three had at least dropped an item this ti.

He looked at it; it was rely an odd, gray triangular slate.
