The Bone Dragon lifted its head, each segnt of its petrified bones exposed under the resplendent magical blaze in the night sky. At that mont, a column of flas shot across the battlefield, the fleeting light perfectly outlining the craggy shadow of this gigantic undead creature.
Despite its massive size, it wasn't clumsy. Fang Hong didn't even have ti to see when this thing opened its huge mouth, as a breath mixed with corrosive acid mist rushed towards him and Atira.
The agility rating of this ?????-level creature was so high that neither he nor the Elf Miss could compare. Not to ntion Fang Hong himself, even Atira had no chance to react. Although the movents of the Bone Dragon were visible, by the ti they reacted, the breath was already in front of them, and their bodies couldn't move, watching helplessly as the green mist engulfed them.
But just when things seed dire, before either of them could form their next thought, the breath of the undead dragon had already swept between them. Fang Hong only reacted half a second later, barely understanding what happened as he turned his head halfway, hearing a loud noise coming from behind.
The Elf Miss reacted slightly faster, turning back just in ti to see a figure stepping out of the passageway they had erged from, raising a hand to unfold a gray shield. The Bone Dragon's breath struck the shield value, scattering, but the gray glow of the shield remained unmoved —
The damage from the breath hadn't even reached a third of the shield's maximum capacity.
The figure took a step forward, leaving behind a shadow in Atira's vision. The Elf Miss sharply turned her head, as a light breeze swept between her and Fang Hong. It was at this mont Fang Hong managed to turn halfway just in ti to see a shadow sliding like a ghost across his vision.
Then he reacted half a beat too late again.
The shadow was now entangled with the Bone Dragon, as the pale dragon raised its massive claw, swiping towards it, but the shadow leapt up, letting the claw hit empty air. The Bone Dragon's huge body tilted slightly forward, losing a bit of balance, as the higher the agility and strength, the more balance and evasion value are lost with a missed strike.
The shadow landed lightly on the outstretched arm bone, standing before the dragon's hollow chest, looking up to see its slender neck.
The shadow drew its sword for the first ti, a silver sword light burst forth, striking right at the dragon's neck.
As Atira turned back, this was exactly what she saw. She saw a dusky light erge from the calcified bones of the Bone Dragon, forming a dense light sh. While shielding from the sword light, the Bone Dragon also couldn't stand it, letting out a howl and almost rising completely off the ground.
Then it fell heavily to the ground.
The shadow didn't pause for a mont, sheathing its sword, crouching lower, with its hand on the sword hilt.
The next mont, Atira saw a silver crescent moon flickering in the darkness, slashing horizontally towards the Bone Dragon.
But the Bone Dragon didn't show any weakness. As it fell to the ground, it twisted its spine like a giant serpent — its sharp bone tail coiling, producing a gray-white shadow in the void. Accompanied by a sharp whistle, a bone whip over twenty ters long swept across.
The shadow had to interrupt its movent, withdrawing its sword to parry.
A loud crash echoed out.
He then stepped back, landing steadily on the ground.
Instead, the Bone Dragon itself, its long tail swept away by this sword, had its entire massive body flung out, letting out a high-pitched screech, crashing heavily into the edge of the pit, shaking the earth, as rocks and dirt rolled down from above, nearly burying it.
This series of dazzling exchanges all happened in the ti it took for Fang Hong to turn his head —
From the mont Fang Hong felt a shadow brush past him, surprising him, to the mont he turned back. He only saw the scene of the Bone Dragon howling, flying horizontally. The Bone Dragon's enormous body crashed against the edge of the pit, then the ground shook forcefully, causing ripples across the ground beneath their feet.
Fang Hong, unable to steady himself, leaned back.
But fortunately, there was the Elf Miss.
As if a light boat on turbulent waves, Atira bobbed and swayed, yet still had the presence of mind to stretch out a hand to pull Fang Hong, preventing him from being thrown out.
The Bone Dragon shook off the layer of mud covering it, scattering sand and stone, shaking its massive head, and let out a low growl, once again brandishing claws and fangs at the shadow. But the shadow — which Fang Hong and Atira could now clearly see was not simply a shadow, but 'Count Westwood Sibika' — or, the Wanderer, simply pointed a finger at the Bone Dragon:
A dark-colored light sphere shot from his fingertip, piercing between the Bone Dragon's claws, beneath its chest, hitting its 77th vertebrae. As the light sphere hit the Bone Dragon's vertebra, it imdiately stretched backward, forming a light rope, anchoring it to the edge of the pit behind.
Though still charging forward with great inertia, as the light rope on the 77th vertebra beca taut, it instantly lost its balance, chin hitting the ground, crashing down heavily.
Atira, seeing this scene, took a step back, reaching out to grab Fang Hong.
But the Wanderer turned around, pointing at her.
Another dark-colored light sphere flew out, hitting the Elf Miss's left shoulder, passing through her shoulder, with the ford light rope yanking her forward, separating from Fang Hong. The light rope stretched forward, anchoring to the ground, firmly fixing the Elf Miss in place, completely immobilized.
