Many windows cut into the tops of walls let sunlight stream through dust motes, forming beams of light. In the dim corners of the walls were bales of hay piled up, and just like the endless yellow sand and dry climate, a thin layer of fine dust covered the floor inside the stables.
The dust was as fine as silt, trickling down between one's fingers if grasped.
This harsh climate poses a significant challenge to constructs too, as dust entering the intricate chanics of Clockwork Fairies and Energy Angels significantly reduces their lifespan.
If unlucky, they might even beco scrap.
Thus, Istania's combat artisans belong to another school, the Magic Guided Construct School.
Annihilators are actually a type of Magic Guided Construct, and the Dark Star (Pitch Black Star) used by Rolin should also be, although the Pitch Black Star should count as a hybrid construct type, with a power section not much different from traditional Clockwork Fairies.
