But after the crowd parted, a group of magicians in purple robes walked out. In front of these magicians, the crowd quickly made way — Fang Hong saw these people and was a bit startled. It seems like whatever you think of magically appears; these people were 'Revealers', the local astrologers.
They hurried past them, seemingly oblivious to what had happened, and the last astrologer, in haste, didn't see the Papalarians and accidentally bumped right into them.
Both exclaid "ouch" and stepped back a bit.
Even though Parker is small, he's still a Nightingale, almost a Level 20; of course, he wouldn't be knocked down by an astrologer. Instead, it was the astrologer who wasn't very strong, and with an "ouch," he fell back on the ground, his hood dropping, revealing a youthful and delicate face.
Everyone was stunned, not expecting that the person who had bumped into Parker was a little girl. Her skin was slightly wheat-colored, and there was a light red peculiar mark on her forehead.
Fang Hong hadn't yet identified the mark when the little girl hurriedly bowed her head, face red with embarrassnt, and quickly pulled up her hood.
As soon as she fell, the 'Revealers' in front turned back, unclear about what had happened, and upon seeing their companion on the ground, each pulled out a Magic Guided Wand from under their robes, pointing at them.
Xiangzi, seeing this scene, didn't hesitate; with a flick of his wrist, he had a sword and wand in hand. Parker was his closest friend, and as an assassin, he wouldn't stand by and watch his companion be trapped — assassins have their code, or at least Xiangzi thought so.
And just when tension escalated due to the misunderstanding, Fang Hong never expected that Parker would be the first to speak.
The little guy leaped three feet high, waving his arms and screaming: "Don't misunderstand, we an no harm."
After he spoke, he turned and rushed joyfully to the astrologer girl, with a concerned expression asking, "Are you okay?"
The girl dared not speak, shaking her head repeatedly.
At that mont, a 'Revealer' ca back from the front, pulled up their companion, and glared at him with a hoarse voice: "Move aside."
After saying that, he led the girl away. Seeing this, everyone else each put down their weapons, retracting them back under their robes. Fang Hong watched this group leave through the parting crowd and then turned back to ask the Papalarians, "Are you okay, Parker?"
Parker shook his head repeatedly, "I'm going to die."
"What's wrong?" Fang Hong was startled.
"I think I'm in love."
Fang Hong heard this and got angrier, kicking the latter, causing him to tumble:
"Get lost!"
Parker climbed up from the ground, dusted off his backside, feeling quite aggrieved: "You and Luo Yu both have girlfriends, and Luo Yu even has two! You two can't just allow this for yourselves but forbid others— isn't that how the saying goes?"
Indeed, the Papalarians had learned quite a bit of Chinese from Xiangzi and Luo Yu lately.
Luo Yu's face darkened after hearing this; he was currently troubled by this matter — but he's not the sa as Fang Hong, rely silently pointed with his hand and secretly cast a spell, leaving a hidden mark on Parker's back.
Among them, only the Big Cat People and Tang De noticed this. Yet the latter had a look of watching the fun, while the Big Cat People stroked the beard on his chin and smiled without saying a word. Throughout the journey, the Papalarians wouldn't stop talking about their romance.
Even though he was still in the dark about whether the little girl was a native or even her na, the Papalarians acted as if she had accepted his courtship.
But halfway through his outspoken tales, he'd no longer have ti to talk about them.
As Parker noticed his charm value seed to have suddenly increased — only this charm was directed at animals, wherever he went, any beast of burden or poultry would draw close to him, either grabbing his coat or licking his face with slobber.
His pitiful circumstance t with a herd of swine-like creatures, covered in earthy dust, snorting to get closer, while their owner was unable to pull them away.
Ai Xiaoxiao curiously watched this scene, continually questioning him:
"Parker, did you learn sothing from Miss Atira?"
"Parker, is this a Papalarian talent?"
"Parker, there's a dog over there, it's huge!"
And then she saw the Papalarians scream, clutching their buttocks and run away.
With a vicious dog taller than a person chasing behind.
In such an aggravating situation, Fang Hong finally led this group of problem people to their destination — Tansnier's Sand Lodge. The Big Cat People flung the Papalarians he carried on his shoulder onto the ground like a sack of potatoes, the latter screaming as if being slaughtered.
"Ouch, my butt," Parker exclaid and whined: "Take it easy!"
Not far away, the servant at the lodge's entrance frowned when he saw this, coming over to politely address everyone: "Please, do not bring beggars into the lodge."
Everyone turned back to look, peculiarly at the raggedly dressed Parker. The latter also glanced at himself, opened his mouth, but had no words.
The Big Cat People exchanged a glance with Luo Yu, who was still suspiciously inspecting his Magic Guided Wand — he was sure he hadn't cast that spell.
Fortunately, a voice from within the lodge spoke to the servant:
"Let them in; these people are my guests."
The servant turned back, his expression showing realization, respectfully bowing to that side. Then he turned to Fang Hong and the others: "Since the master has spoken, please co in —"
"Master?"
Fang Hong looked curiously in that direction.
But unfortunately, from the glaring sunlight outside, the interior of the lodge appeared as nothing but darkness.
